The Far Eastern Bible College (abbreviation: FEBC; Chinese: 远东神学院) is a reformed, fundamentalist, and separatist Bible-Presbyterian theological institution located at Gilstead Road, under the Novena Planning Area, within the Central Region of Singapore. Founded in 1962 by Timothy Tow, FEBC is the fourth oldest Bible college in the country. The current principal is Jeffrey Khoo.The college motto is "Holding forth the Word of Life" (Phil 2:16) and "Holding fast the Faithful Word" (Titus 1:9).

Life Bible-Presbyterian Church (Abbreviation: LBPC; Chinese: 笃信圣经长老会生命堂) is a reformed, fundamental, and separatist Bible-Presbyterian church located at Gilstead Road, under the Novena Planning Area, within the Central Region of Singapore. It is the first and oldest Bible-Presbyterian church in Singapore and Southeast Asia, and the mother church of Bible-Presbyterian churches in the region. Church members are referred to as "Lifers." The pastor is the Rev Charles Seet. The church motto is "Holding Forth the Word of Life" (Philippians 2:16).

Beulah House is a bungalow on Gilstead Road in Novena, Singapore. It housed an eye clinic before it was acquired by the Life Bible-Presbyterian Church in 1990.

The House at 9 Buckley Road is a conserved colonial-era bungalow in Novena, Singapore. Designed by architect H. A. Stallings and completed in 1932, it was notably the family home of Kwek Hong Png, founder of the Hong Leong Group, from 1943. The building was granted conservation status by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) in 2008 and has since been restored and integrated as the clubhouse for the Buckley Classique condominium. The bungalow is noted for its mix of architectural styles and a decorative Chinese-style entrance archway, known as the Buckley Arch, which was added in the 1940s.

Newton MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) interchange station on the North South (NSL) and Downtown (DTL) lines. It is located in Newton, Singapore, at the junction of Scotts Road and Bukit Timah Road near Newton Circus. The station serves the offices and condominiums around Newton Circus including Goldbell Towers and Scotts Highpark, and it is within walking distance to the Newton Food Centre. The NSL station opened on 12 December 1987 as part of the line's extension to Outram Park via Raffles Place station. The NSL station is designated as a Civil Defence Shelter with a reinforced structure. With the opening of DTL Stage 2 on 27 December 2015, Newton became an interchange station. An additional entrance, designed by SAA Architects, serves the new DTL station, which features an artwork Newton by Messymsxi as part of the network's Art-in-Transit programme.

Newton Suites is a residential skyscraper in Newton Road, Singapore designed by WOHA Architects. It has a height of 120 metres with 36 floors. Each floor has two two-bedroom and two three-bedroom apartments. The top floor features two penthouses. The building features several sky gardens. The condominium has a security post, basement car park and a swimming pool.

Anglo-Chinese School (Barker Road) is a government-aided boys' secondary school located at Barker Road in Newton, Singapore. It is a member of the Anglo-Chinese family of schools in Singapore. It offers the Singapore-Cambridge GCE Ordinary Level course for its students from Sec 1 to Sec 4/5. Students may then move on to Anglo-Chinese Junior College or Anglo-Chinese School (Independent). It has provided opportunities for its feeder students to continue with an ACS Education at a secondary level. ACS was also the first school in Singapore to have a flower named after it, the Ascocenda Anglo-Chinese School orchid, a hybrid created by the school to mark its 116th Founder's Day on 1 March 2002. ACS has many partner schools such as Anglo-Chinese School (Junior) and Anglo Chinese Junior College. The school is close to Newton MRT station. It was a full school which subsumed Anglo-Chinese School (Primary) as its primary school section until 1998, when the school split into two. The school has been based at the newly rebuilt Barker Road campus since 2003. Its principal is Loo Ming Yaw while long-serving principal Ng Eng Chin is now retired and Peter Tan Chong Tze is now heading Queensway Secondary School.

Masjid Abdul Hamid Kampong Pasiran, or Abdul Hamid Kampong Pasiran Mosque (Jawi: مسجد عبدالحميد كامڤوڠ ڤاسيرن) is a mosque in Novena, Singapore. Built in 1932 in an area then known as Kampong Pasiran to replace a surau, it serves the needs of office workers around Newton and Novena. With a capacity of about 300 people, the mosque offers religious studies twice a week.

Newton Food Centre (纽顿熟食中心) is a major hawker centre in Newton, Singapore. The food centre was promoted by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) as a tourist attraction for sampling Singaporean cuisine. It was first opened in 1971 and it closed down in 2005 as the government wanted to revamp the food centre. The food centre then went through a major renovation before reopening on 1 July 2006.

Presently, the group has 100 clinics in Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Indonesia, India and Malaysia.In July 2017, the company announced plans for a potential future US$150mm Taiwan IPO. In January 2018, China's Cedarlake Huarong Investment acquired a stake in Novena Global Lifecare for an undisclosed sum.

San Yu Adventist School (SYAS) is a private Christian school in Singapore which caters to students from ages 7 (Primary 1) to 16/17 (Secondary 4, GCE 'O' Levels). It follows the local education system and is fully owned and operated by the Singapore Adventist Conference. The current school was a result of the merger of two Adventist schools: the English-medium Seventh-day Adventist School previously located in Upper Serangoon Road and the Chinese-medium San Yu High School. It is a part of the Seventh-day Adventist education system, the world's second largest Christian school system.

Scotts Road (Chinese: 史各士路) is a road located in Central Area of Singapore. It was named after Captain William G. Scott, Harbour Master and Post Master of Singapore in 1836, who owned property and plantations on and around the area where Scotts Road now stands.The name comes from the fact that it was home to the largest community of Scottish expatriates living in the colony before Singapore's independence.
