The Musical Instruments Museum (MIM) (French: Musée des instruments de musique, Dutch: Muziekinstrumentenmuseum) is a music museum in central Brussels, Belgium. It is part of the Royal Museums of Art and History (RMAH) and internationally renowned for its collection of over 8,000 instruments.

The Old England (Dutch: Oud Engeland, French: Vieille Angleterre) department store was a large retailer in downtown Brussels, Belgium, partially housed in a famous, important Art Nouveau building constructed by the Belgian architect Paul Saintenoy in 1898–99. Today its former buildings house the Musical Instruments Museum (MIM), founded in 1877, which forms part of the group of Royal Museums for Art and History (RMAH).

The Coudenberg (French) or Koudenberg (Dutch) is a street in the Pentagon, Brussels. Today, it runs from the Rue Ravenstein/Ravensteinstraat to the Rue Villa Hermosa/Villa Hermosastraat and forms only the surviving part of a once longer artery. It takes its name from the historic Coudenberg hill, associated with the former ducal palace. The toponym Coudenberg means "cold hill" (Latin: montus frigidus). It originally referred to the hill itself and more specifically to the medieval Steenweg continuing from the Rue du Marché aux Herbes/Grasmarkt and the Rue de la Madeleine/Magdalenastraat, which passed through the Coudenberg Gate of the first city walls near the abbey of the same name. In the 19th century, this stretch was renamed Rue de Namur/Naamsestraat, replacing the older designation.

La Pharmacie Anglaise formerly known as the Pharmacie Anglaise Ch. Delacre (transl. English Pharmacy Ch. Delacre) is a neo-Gothic corner building in Brussels, designed by architect Paul Saintenoy. Located on the Coudenberg/Koudenberg, it stands on a triangular plot with an adjoining warehouse on Rue Villa Hermosa/Villa Hermosastraat. The richly decorated frontage with a corner tower draws inspiration from late Gothic architecture, in harmony with neighbouring medieval buildings such as the Hôtel Ravenstein.

The Whirling Ear is a 1958 sculpture by Alexander Calder, installed in Brussels. It was made using sheet metal and paint, with motor. The sculpture was commissioned.

The Centre for Fine Arts (French: Palais des Beaux-Arts, Dutch: Paleis voor Schone Kunsten) is a multi-purpose cultural venue in Brussels, Belgium. It is often referred to as BOZAR (a homophone of Beaux-arts) in French or PSK in Dutch. The building was designed by the architect Victor Horta, and completed in 1929 at the instigation of the banker and patron of the arts Henry Le Bœuf. It includes exhibition and conference rooms, a cinema and a concert hall, which serves as home to the National Orchestra of Belgium.

The Granvelle Palace (French: Palais Granvelle, Dutch: Granvellepaleis) was a 16th-century Renaissance palace in Brussels, Belgium. It was originally built for Cardinal Archbishop Antoine Perrenot de Granvelle and was located in the former Putterie/Putterij district, between the Rue des Sols/Stuiversstraat and the Rue de l'Impératrice/Keizerinstraat, near today's Brussels Central Station. The deeply redesigned Granvelle Palace served as the main seat of the Free University of Brussels between 1842 and 1928. It was demolished in 1931 to make way for the North–South connection, a major railway link through central Brussels. The Ravenstein Gallery was built on its site.

Square – Brussels Convention Centre (previously Square – Brussels Meeting Centre) is the name of a convention centre in Brussels, Belgium. It is run by the GL Events group and situated in cultural and historic district of Brussels near the national and international institutions, overlooking the city from the hillside of the Mont des Arts.

The Royal Belgian Film Archive (French: Cinémathèque Royale de Belgique; Dutch: Koninklijk Belgisch Filmarchief) is a is a cinematheque located in the Centre for Fine Arts, in Brussels, Belgium. It is often referred to as CINEMATEK (a homophone of cinémathèque).

The Place Royale (French, 'Royal Square') or Koningsplein (Dutch, 'King's Square') is a historic neoclassical square in the Royal Quarter of Brussels, Belgium. Modelled after the so-called French royal square and built between 1775 and 1782, according to a plan of the architects Jean-Benoît-Vincent Barré and Gilles-Barnabé Guimard, to replace the former Palace of Coudenberg, it was part of an urban project including Brussels Park.The Place Royale is one of oldest architecturally consistent and monumental public squares, as well as an excellent example of 18th-century urban architecture. Rectangular and symmetrical in shape, it measures 77 by 113 metres (253 by 371 ft), and is entirely paved. In its centre stands equestrian statue of Godfrey of Bouillon. It is also flanked by the Church of St. James on Coudenberg, as well as some of the main museums in the city. The Rue de Namur/Naamsestraat enters the square from the south, the Rue de la Régence/Regentschapstraat from the south-west, and the Rue Montagne de la Cour/Hofbergstraat and the Mont des Arts/Kunstberg from the north-west. This area is served by Brussels Central Station, as well as by the metro stations Parc/Park (on lines 1 and 5) and Trône/Troon (on lines 2 and 6).

The Palace of Coudenberg (French: Palais du Coudenberg, Dutch: Coudenbergpaleis) was a residence situated on the Coudenberg or Koudenberg (listen ; Dutch for "Cold Hill"), a small hill in Brussels in modern-day Belgium. For nearly 700 years, the Castle and then Palace of Coudenberg was the seat of government of the counts, dukes, archdukes, kings, emperors and governors, who from the 11th century until its destruction by fire in 1731, exerted their sovereignty over the area of the Duchy of Brabant, now in the southern Netherlands and northern Belgium. After several years of recent excavations, the archaeological vestiges of the palace and its foundations are open to the public.

Brussels Protestant Church (French: Église Protestante de Bruxelles, Dutch: Brusselse protestantse kerk) is a Brussels-based Protestant Christian congregation formally constituted in 1804 and whose roots go back to the Protestant Reformation of the 16th century.
