Beaufort railway station was a station on the London and North Western Railway's Heads of the Valleys line serving the village of Beaufort in the Welsh county of Brecknockshire.

Beaufort (Welsh: Cendl or Y Cendl) is a community and village located in the historic county of Brecknockshire (Breconshire) and the preserved county of Gwent. It currently lies on the northern edge of the county borough of Blaenau Gwent in Wales. According to the 2011 census, the population of the ward and community of Beaufort is 3,866The settlement arose on the boundary of two parishes, Llangattock in Brecknockshire and Aberystruth in Monmouthshire on the 1779 establishment of the Beaufort Iron Works by Edward and Jonathan Kendall (Cendl) after whom the new settlement was first named.

The Beaufort Theatre is the principal theatre in Blaenau Gwent in Ebbw Vale. Until 2 April 2017 it was part of the Blaenau Gwent Venues, which also includes The Market Hall Cinema and Metropole Theatre, and formerly the Abertillery Community Theatre. Taken over buy a community group on 3 April 2017, it is still available for hire to amateur groups. It has a 338-seater auditorium and a ballroom. It has a proscenium arched stage with an apron. The stage has some flying available, with 12 hemp sets with maximum flown height of 16ft. Lighting bars can be lowered via winch, and front-of-house bars are fixed to the ceilings and walls. In its professional capacity, the venue used to programme professional theatre, music, contemporary dance and light entertainment. The theatre is also host to nine voluntary arts organisations who mount their annual productions there. The theater was originally a cinema. It was converted back in the 1960s. Many famous bands have played in the ballroom before making it big, including Mott the Hoople and The Stereophonics.

Rassau, sometimes The Rassau (Welsh: Rasa (Gwenhwyseg)), is a village and community located in the historic county of Brecknockshire (Breconshire) and the preserved county of Gwent. It currently lies on the northern edge of the county borough of Blaenau Gwent in Wales. According to the 2011 census, the population of Rassau is 3,234. Residents often refer to either Old Rassau and New Rassau or Bottom Rassau and Top Rassau to distinguish the different parts of the village.

Ysbyty’r tri Chwm (English: Three Valleys Hospital) is a mental health facility in Ebbw Vale, Blaenau Gwent, Wales. The site was opened in 1996. It is managed by the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.

Eugene Cross Park is a rugby and cricket ground in Ebbw Vale, Wales. In November 1919 the Ebbw Vale Welfare Association was formed and bought the "Bridgend Field". The 6 acres (2.4 ha) of land became known as the Welfare Ground, and in 1973 its name was changed to its present title in honour of Sir Eugene Cross, the influential and long-standing Chairman of the Welfare Trustees. The ground has terraces, a stand which was bought due to a fire which burnt the previous stands and a clubhouse which boasts a pub, a club shop open at match days and award-winning hospitality packages. The stadium is adjacent to the B4486 road, the Newchurch Road and the Ebbw River. It is the home of Ebbw Vale RFC and Ebbw Vale Cricket Club, it occasionally hosts matches for Glamorgan County Cricket Club, and a small number of international rugby league matches have taken place there. It was also home to Ebbw Vale F.C. for a period when they were members of the League of Wales. In September 2021 Ciner Group signed a three-year naming rights deal with Ebbw Vale RFC, with the stadium being named the Ciner Glass Community Stadium for the duration of the deal.

Ebbw Vale North is a community in Blaenau Gwent, South Wales. It includes the north of Ebbw Vale and was formed in 2010 from part of that community. The population in 2011 was 4,561.

RTB Ebbw Vale Football Club are a Welsh association football club based in the town of Ebbw Vale, Blaenau Gwent, South Wales. The team was founded in 1951 as the football club of the Richard Thomas and Baldwins Steelworks. They currently play in the Gwent County League Premier Division, which is at the fourth tier of the Welsh football pyramid. They played in the Welsh Football League for two seasons in the early 2000s and in the tier 3 Ardal Leagues in early 2020s.

Ebbw Vale (; Welsh: Glynebwy) is a town at the head of the valley formed by the Ebbw Fawr tributary of the Ebbw River in Wales. It is the largest town and the administrative centre of Blaenau Gwent county borough. The Ebbw Vale and Brynmawr conurbation has a population of roughly 33,000. It has direct access to the dualled A465 Heads of the Valleys trunk road and borders the Brecon Beacons National Park.
