Opened in 2006, the amphitheater features 9,800 fixed seats, with a lawn area able to accommodate 850 additional spectators.

This facility marks a first for CBL & Associates, it is their first foray into the lifestyle center property type. Southaven Towne Center brought department stores to Southaven for the first time.

Capleville is a community in the southeast section of Memphis, Tennessee, United States, and is north of the Mississippi border. It is located 0.5 mi. east of the Memphis International Airport, starting 1 mi. west of the intersection of State Routes 176 and 175, and heading east along State Route 175 (Shelby Drive) crossing U.S. Route 78. The area has been incorporated into the City of Memphis and since has become a large industrial center due to its proximity to the airport and Lamar Avenue (U.S. Route 78) which becomes a divided freeway after State Route 175. Local landmarks include Emerald Park, Fox Meadows Park, McFarland Park, Mooney Park, Walter K Singleton Park and Wilson Park. Although its current buildings were not erected until after 1971, the Capleville Methodist Church is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.Capleville is the childhood home of author Jerry Pournelle. The Caples were some of the first settlers in West Tennessee, and once owned all the land in Tennessee that became Capleville, plus some land in Mississippi. Sudie Caple married into the Sims Family, another prominent Family in Memphis, Tennessee. Her son Thomas M. "Pappy" Sims joined the U.S. Army in 1941, at the age of 31, thus earning him the appellation of "Pappy" as he was the oldest recruit in his unit. He distinguished himself in World War II. He was in Patton's Third Army, and it was his company that discovered Hitler's secret jet airplane factory hidden below a mountain. He was grievously wounded in battle in heroic action and was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.

Pleasant Hill is a census-designated place and unincorporated community located in DeSoto County, Mississippi, United States, located approximately 9 miles (14 km) southwest of Hernando and 8 miles (13 km) southeast of Eudora, just east of Arkabutla Lake. Pleasant Hill was formerly incorporated, and was home to several stores, two churches, and a Masonic lodge.A post office operated under the name Pleasant Hill from 1848 to 1917.It was first named as a CDP in the 2020 Census which listed a population of 1,863.

Tanger Outlets Southaven is an outlet mall in Southaven, Mississippi, just outside Memphis, Tennessee. The mall, located at the intersection of I-55/I-69 and Church Road, began construction in January 2015 and opened in November 2015. Tanger Outlets Southaven is the first outlet mall in the Memphis metro area.

Delta Technical College (Delta Tech) is a private for-profit career college in Horn Lake, Mississippi. It was founded in 2004 and is a branch school of Midwest Technical Institute based in Springfield, Illinois. Delta Technical College has campuses in Horn Lake and Ridgeland. Southaven High School is a public secondary school located in Southaven, Mississippi, United States. It began in the fall of 1971, when construction was completed enough so that students could start the first classes. The original school taught 6th through 12th.
