Blake Street railway station serves the Hill Hook area of Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, England. It is situated on the Cross-City Line, located on the county boundary between the West Midlands and Staffordshire. The station is managed by West Midlands Trains, who operate all trains serving it.

Hill Hook is an area of Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, England. The area includes Hill Hook Local Nature Reserve, declared in 2003 with an area of 5.65 hectares, which is on the site of a watermill built in the 17th century. An earlier dam showed the extent of the original mill pool, which was enlarged in 1767. The nature reserve, known locally as 'The Meddies' or 'The Mill Pond' was substantially built upon from the early 1980s onwards, although small parts remain untouched. The Friends of Hill Hook, a local group of The Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and the Black Country work alongside the Council ranger Service to care for the site. It is close to Four Oaks and Little Aston and is approximately one mile from Sutton Park. The area is served by Blake Street railway station, and is served by National Express West Midlands routes 604 and X3. Midland Classic of Burton previously operated an hourly X12 service between Burton and Sutton Coldfield, however this was cut to terminate at Lichfield and subsequently the X3 extended to Lichfield half hourly to cover this gap. Prior to the X12, for many years Stevensons of Uttoxeter operated service 112 which ran between Birmingham and Burton-upon-Trent and which also served Blake Street railway station.

Shenstone Lodge School is a residential special school for children with behaviour or emotional difficulties, in Shenstone, Staffordshire, England, between Lichfield and Sutton Coldfield. It caters for children aged 4–13. It also has a second site in Tividale which caters for children 11-16. It offers day placements and also, where appropriate, home tuition.Although partly located in Staffordshire, the school is primarily for pupils coming from the Sandwell area.

Little Hay is a hamlet in the Lichfield District in Staffordshire, England. It is close to Shenstone and is also part of the Shenstone civil parish. The M6 Toll runs directly to the east of Little Hay, as well as the A5 road/Watling Street.

It is Ofsted Outstanding and was an Arts College before the Specialist Schools initiative was made defunct. The school's headteacher is Samantha Kibble. The A5127 is a major road in England which runs between Birmingham and Lichfield, Staffordshire. For much of the route the road follows the old route of the A38 which has since been moved in order to by-pass places such as Erdington and Sutton Coldfield and form a relief road from Birmingham city centre to Spaghetti Junction. The part from the county boundary, through Shenstone to Lichfield was one of the roads of the Lichfield Turnpike Trust, established in 1729. Beyond Lichfield, it joins the Roman Ryknild Street at Streethay and immediately after that joins the present A38.

Little Aston is a village in Staffordshire, England. It is located within the Lichfield District and is approximately 5 miles (8 km) south of the city of Lichfield. Formerly a separate settlement, it is in modern times contiguous with the built-up area of the neighbouring town of Sutton Coldfield. At the 2011 United Kingdom census the population of Little Aston ward was 2,920 people living in 1,104 households. At the last UK census there were 935 homes in the village, well over 10% of which were multimillion-pound properties, and the village is known for its footballers and successful businesspeople.

Sutton Four Oaks is one of the 40 electoral wards in Birmingham, England.Sutton Four Oaks is one of the four wards that make up the Parliamentary Constituency and council constituency of Sutton Coldfield. The ward lies to the north of Sutton Coldfield town centre and covers Hill Hook, Hill Wood, Roughley, Doe Bank, Ley Hill, Four Oaks, Four Oaks Park and Mere Green. Mere Green is the main shopping area for the ward and also has the ward's only library. It covers an area of 19.61 square kilometres (7.57 sq mi).
