Fairfield Park Precinct, or Fairfield Park, is an urban park situated in the western suburbs of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Situated to the south of Fairfield CBD, the park contains an open grassland, bushland, picnic spots, playgrounds, indoor and outdoor sport facilities, and recreational areas within the vicinity of native plants, such as eucalyptus trees.

Patrician Brothers' College, Fairfield (abbreviated as PBCF) is an independent Roman Catholic comprehensive single-sex secondary day school for boys, located in Fairfield, a western suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Founded in the tradition of Bishop Daniel Delany in 1953, the college formerly catered for students in Years 5 to 12, however the primary section was merged into the local parish primary school and closed in 2006. Today the school enrolls approximately 1150 high school aged students from the parishes of Villawood, Fairfield, Cabramatta and Smithfield. 85% of the student population are from non-English speaking backgrounds. The administration of the school is overseen by Sydney Catholic Schools. In the 2009 Higher School Certificate (HSC), the college was ranked in the top 57 schools in New South Wales, and is ranked in the Top 12 Catholic Schools in Sydney and in the Top 3 Catholic Schools in the Southern Region.

Fairfield railway station is a heritage-listed railway station located on the Old Main South line, serving the Sydney suburb of Fairfield. It is served by Sydney Trains T2 Inner West & Leppington and T5 Cumberland line services. It was designed and built by NSW Government Railways from 1856 to 1891. It is also known as Fairfield Railway Station group. The property was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Heiden Park ( HY-dən) is a public park and heritage site in Carramar, New South Wales, Australia. Situated on the eastern bank of Prospect Creek, the park occupies part of the former Von Heiden Estate, the riverside residence of German-born piano manufacturer Carl Wilhelm Gunther von Heiden. The park preserves remnants of the estate's late Victorian and Edwardian ornamental gardens. In the early 20th century, the park's recreational area and the surrounding reaches of the creek were described as "the loveliest spot in the Southern Districts". Following its formal acquisition in July 1951 for use as a retirement community, the park underwent extensive improvements, beginning with the opening of its first cottage for older residents in 1953 and continuing until the late 1980s. In 1990, the site was acquired by Fairfield City Council for conversion into an urban park. Following the sale of the flood-prone property, the retirement village was relocated to the former site of Fairfield District Hospital. The former von Heiden Gardens within the park are listed as a local heritage item under the Fairfield Local Environmental Plan 2013.

Fairfield is a suburb of South Western Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Being in the centre of the Cumberland Plain, Fairfield is located 30 kilometres (19 mi) west of the Sydney central business district and is the administrative heart of the Fairfield City Council (local government area) – despite a very small portion of it belonging to the Cumberland Council. The Bland Oak, or Bland's Oak Tree, is a historic southern live oak situated in Carramar, Greater Western Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, that is approximately over 180 years old, making it one of Sydney's oldest living introduced trees and also one of the largest in the region. A local significance and a historic symbol of Fairfield City Council, the oak tree is included on Fairfield City's coat of arms.

Fairfield Public School is a government-funded, co-educational, primary day school, located in Fairfield, a western suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Established in 1889 and opened by Sir Henry Parkes, the school caters for approximately 435 students from kindergarten to Year 6. The school is operated by the New South Wales Department of Education and it is opposite of Fairfield High School. With 97% of the school's students being of a non-English speaking background, Fairfield Primary School is one of the most multicultural schools in Sydney. The motto, "Learning Together", represents the school's united partnerships and values. The school features a house system and has an official song titled 'Lift Up Your Voice'.

Fairfield High School is a government-funded co-educational comprehensive secondary day school, located in Fairfield, a south-western suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Established in 1955 through the merge of two adjacent single-sex high schools: Fairfield Boys High School and Fairfield Girls High School, the school caters for approximately 1,100 students from Year 7 to Year 12. The school is operated by the New South Wales Department of Education.
