Hurworth Grange Community Centre

Hurworth School is an coeducational secondary school located on Croft Road, Hurworth-on-Tees, in the borough of Darlington, England. It is part of the Swift Academies Multi Academy Trust. It is an over-subscribed 5 form entry comprehensive school, with accommodation for around 650 pupils in the 11 to 16 years age-range. Academic courses lead to examinations at GCSE level and substantial numbers of pupils move on to Higher Education. Pupils are drawn largely from the villages of Hurworth, Middleton St George and Neasham as well as from an area of south-east Darlington.

Hurworth Place is a village in County Durham, in England. It lies south of Darlington on the northern bank of the River Tees, opposite the village of Croft-on-Tees in North Yorkshire to which it is linked by Croft Bridge, a Grade I listed structure dating from the 14th century, which marks the county boundary. It is part of the civil parish of Hurworth.

Croft Spa railway station was a railway station serving the settlements of Croft-on-Tees and Hurworth-on-Tees in County Durham, England. The station was located on the East Coast Main Line between Northallerton and Darlington. It was served by local trains on the East Coast Main Line, and also trains operating the Eryholme-Richmond branch line.

The Old Hall is situated on Hurworth Green, in the village of Hurworth-on-Tees in County Durham, England. It is number 50 on The Green. Built in the mid-18th century, with 19th century modifications and additions, the house of red brick and has three storeys and a basement. There is a slate roof with five brick chimneys. A single-story pavilion is on the left. The front and rear doors have a fanlight and are under Roman Ionic pediments supported by columns. A little way south from the back garden lies the River Tees. An iron fence separates its grounds from the green. A drive runs from behind its gates to the main road, cutting through the green. The house is a Grade II* Listed Building.

Croft Bridge is a road bridge over the River Tees, straddling the border between North Yorkshire and County Durham, in the north of England. The road over the bridge is now the A167, previously a second branch of the Great North Road, meeting the old road in Darlington. The bridge dates back to Medieval times, and is the setting for the awarding of a sword to the incoming Bishop of Durham.

Croft-on-Tees is a village and civil parish in the Richmondshire district of North Yorkshire, England. It has also been known as Croft Spa, and from which the former Croft Spa railway station took its name. It lies 11 miles (18 km) north-north west of the county town of Northallerton.

Croft Viaduct is a railway bridge carrying the East Coast Main Line between Northallerton and Darlington in Northern England. The viaduct crosses the River Tees, the border between North Yorkshire and County Durham. Although it was an early example of a stone viaduct in the railway system, it is not the first true railway viaduct, however, it was the first railway viaduct in the United Kingdom to have been built with an oblique arch (or skew-arch). It was grade II listed in 1988, and had overhead line equipment installed in the early 1990s.

Hurworth-on-Tees is a village in the borough of Darlington, within the ceremonial county of County Durham, England. It is situated in the civil parish of Hurworth. The village lies to the south of Darlington on the River Tees, close to its meeting point with the River Skerne, and immediately adjoins the village of Hurworth Place, which forms part of the same civil parish.

Hurworth House School was a non-selective independent school located in Hurworth-on-Tees, in the borough of Darlington, England. There were approximately 130 pupils on the school roll, aged 4–16, as of July 2010.On Tuesday 29 June 2010 it was announced that Polam Hall proposals had fallen through and that Hurworth House was to close for good. The site of the school is now home to a special educational school of the same name, which opened in 2011.

The Church of St Peter, Croft-on-Tees is a 12th century grade I listed parish church in the village of Croft-on-Tees in North Yorkshire, England. Artefacts and carvings inside the church are believed to have given rise to many of the characters created by Lewis Carroll, who as a child, attended St Peter's in the 1840s when his father was rector of the church. The church also features in Simon Jenkins' book "England's Thousand Best Churches".

The Croft Hotel is a historic building in Croft-on-Tees, a village in North Yorkshire in England. The hotel was constructed in 1835 by Ignatius Bonomi, to accommodate visitors to the old and new spas. In about 1860, a ballroom range was added to the west. The building was grade II listed in 1988. In 2023, it was purchased by the Apartment Group, which spent £2 million restoring the building. As of 2024, it offered 24 rooms, a function suite, gym and restaurant, and was marketed as a wedding venue. The building is roughcast with a Welsh slate roof, and has two storeys and an irregular plan. The main entrance block projects slightly, and has a coped gable acting as a pediment. There are three bays, and in the centre is a porch with square Tuscan porch and a flat roof. The block is flanked by two bays on the left and three on the right. All the windows are sashes, the window above the doorway with an architrave and a pediment. To the left is the ballroom block, taller, with four bays, and in the right bay is a Tuscan doorway with a pediment. To the right is the former coach house, also lower, with a pantile roof and six bays. In the ground floor are segmental-arched openings, and the upper floor contains horizontally-sliding sash windows.
