Busto Arsizio (Italian: [ˈbusto arˈsittsjo] (listen); Bustocco: Büsti Grandi) is an Italian city and comune in the south-easternmost part of the Province of Varese, in the region of Lombardy, in Northern Italy, 35 kilometres (22 mi) north of Milan. The economy of Busto Arsizio is mainly based on industry and commerce. It is the fifth municipality in the region by population and the first in the province.

Busto Arsizio Nord is a railway station in Italy. Located on the Saronno–Novara railway, it serves the city of Busto Arsizio. It is joined by a junction track to the Busto Arsizio railway station, managed by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana. Some kilometers west from the station, at Bivio Sacconago, is the origin of the branch to Malpensa. The train services are operated by Trenord and TiLo.

The Church of St. Michael Archangel is one of the most important Catholic churches of Busto Arsizio. The church was constructed above an ancient Lombardic fortification, demolished at the beginning of the 12th century.

Borsano (Bursàn in Bustocco) is a frazione of 6,345 inhabitants in the municipality of Busto Arsizio in the province of Varese. Until 1928 it was always an autonomous municipality, apart from in the period between 1869 and 1912.

The Santuario di Santa Maria di Piazza (also known as the shrine of the Blessed Virgin of Help) is located in the historic center of Busto Arsizio, Italy, where an earlier church dedicated to the Virgin Mary stood, which in turn had replaced a chapel dating back to the time of Christianization. This Marian shrine was quickly built between 1515 and 1522. Two names appear in the documents dealing with the construction of the temple: that of Antonio da Lonate (author of the model for the Vigevano Duomo) and that of "magistro Tomaxio ingeniero", probably Tommaso Rodari, the well-known sculptor and architect active in the Como cathedral, a pupil of Giovanni Antonio Amadeo. Antonio da Lonate set the central plan, for which a Bramantesque design, "Bramanti secutus exemplar" has been speculated; the latter would have executed the two portals to the west and south, and perhaps the elegant loggia in the tambour under the dome similar to the tiburium of the sanctuary of the Beata Vergine dei Miracoli at Saronno, which is attributed to Amadeo.

The Church of Sant’Antonio Abate is a church located in Piazza Santa Maria, Busto Arsizio. It is adjacent to the bell tower of Santa Maria di Piazza.

The Church of San Gregorio Magno in Camposanto, more commonly known as the Church of San Gregorio, is a Roman Catholic Church in Busto Arsizio, located near the Piazza Trento Trieste. The church was constructed between 1632 and 1659.

The Museum of Textiles and Industry is one of the two museums in Busto Arsizio, Italy, that specialises in spinning and weaving. It was opened in 1997 to house objects, pictures and archive material representing Busto Arsizio's industrial history.

The prepositural collegiate basilica of San Giovanni Battista is a Catholic church in Busto Arsizio, dedicated to one of the patron saints of the city. Like the church of San Michele Arcangelo, this building also stands on the remains of a small Lombard chapel about eight metres wide. In 1948 the church was elevated to the dignity of minor basilica. The bell tower was constructed from 1400 to 1418, and is the oldest part of the church.

The Church of Saint Edward is a Roman Catholic church in Busto Arsizio, Italy. Construction of the church began on 24 June 1938 and was consecrated by Cardinal Ildefonso Schuster on 12 October 1939. The church serves as the parish church for the neighbourhood of Sant’Edoardo.
