Hadlow

Hadlow Cricket Club was one of the early English cricket clubs, formed in the early to mid eighteenth century. Hadlow is a village in the Medway valley near Tonbridge in Kent.

Hadlow Castle was an 18th-century country house in Hadlow, Kent, England, built in the fashionable Strawberry Hill 'Gothic' style. The house was gradually enlarged and extended during the 19th century and finally demolished in the 20th, apart from a prospect tower and ancillary buildings. The surviving Grade I Listed Hadlow Tower, locally known as May's Folly, was restored in 2013.

The school is located on the grounds of the college, and is the first secondary school in Kent to offer a farm-based education for pupils.Hadlow Rural Community School offers GCSEs as programmes of study for pupils. In addition, the school offers land-based courses in conjunction with Hadlow College.

Old Soar Manor is an English Heritage property, owned and maintained by the National Trust. Located near Plaxtol, Kent, England, it is a small 13th century stone manor house. It is listed Grade I on the National Heritage List for England.Built in 1290, the manor originally belonged to the Culpepper family. The centre of the house was originally the great hall but this no longer exists, as it was demolished in 1780 and replaced with the red-brick farmhouse on the site. The farmhouse is Grade II listed. Visitors today can see the solar, latrine and chapel which remain.
