The Havre De Grace Police Department (HDGPD) is a full-service agency servicing the incorporated municipality of Havre De Grace, Maryland. Established in 1981, HDGPD is Havre De Grace's primary law enforcement agency.

Aberdeen is a city located in Harford County, Maryland, United States, 26 miles (42 km) northeast of Baltimore. The population was 16,254 at the 2020 United States Census. Aberdeen is the largest municipality in Harford County. Aberdeen is part of the Baltimore-Towson Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA), which is the 20th-largest United States metropolitan area. The nearest city to Aberdeen is Havre de Grace, 4.8 miles (7.7 km) to the northeast.

Aberdeen station is a former Baltimore and Ohio Railroad (B&O) station in Aberdeen, Maryland. The station was designed by architect Frank Furness, who designed some 40 stations for the B&O in Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. The station has deteriorated in condition mightily since B&O ended service in 1955, and was almost torn down in 2003. An eleventh hour agreement was made by CSX and the Historical Society of Harford County to save the building. The station was transferred from the Historical Society of Harford County to the Aberdeen Historical Museum in 2016.

James B. Baker House is a historic home located at Aberdeen, Harford County, Maryland. It is a large three story frame residence constructed in 1896 in the Queen Anne style. It features multiple gables, projections, dormers, and balconies enlivening its essentially square form and high hipped roof. James B. Baker was a leading entrepreneur in the canning industry.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Poplar Hill is a historic home located at Aberdeen, Harford County, Maryland. It is a 1+1⁄2-story, gambrel-roofed frame house, built in the mid-18th century. A late-19th-century one-bay, two-story, gable-roofed wing is attached.Poplar Hill was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

Swansbury is a historic home and complex located at Aberdeen, Harford County, Maryland, United States. The buildings are clustered together near the center of the 86.78-acre (351,200 m2) forested property. The complex consists of a five-bay, two-story, multi-part, frame residence and several period frame dependencies. The oldest part of the house dates to about 1760, with major Federal style additions made in the late 18th or every early 19th century. Also on the property are an array of eleven frame outbuildings (barns, wash house, poultry houses, meathouse, etc.) which seem to date from the early 19th century. The grounds are dotted with ancient exotic specimen trees and shrubs.Swansbury was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

WAMD (970 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station based in Aberdeen, Maryland. The station is owned by Bill Parris. Reception for WAMD is northern Harford County. The station's radio format is predominantly Top 40. WAMD is part of the KHZ Network, which includes sister stations WYRE in Annapolis and WKHZ in Easton. Sale of the station from Salem Broadcasting to Parris was announced on December 15, 2010. During its ownership of the station, Salem Broadcasting reduced WAMD's daytime power from 500 watts to 300 watts and reduced its broadcast coverage to enable then-co-owned WNYM in the New York City area to increase its daytime power from 5 kW to 50 kW. WNYM also broadcasts on 970 AM. WAMD's nighttime power remains at 500 watts. WAMD returned to the airways April 23, 2011, under the management of Bill Parris. WAMD is broadcasting the KHZ network in simulcast with WYRE and WKHZ. Considered a multimedia platform with an internet TV channel playing videos and the audio on the networked radio stations, personalities such as Tracy Hart work as VJs.

Leidos Field at Ripken Stadium is the home of the Aberdeen IronBirds, an affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles in the South Atlantic League. The stadium is located in Aberdeen, Maryland. The 6,300-seat Ripken Stadium held its first game on June 18, 2002. As of 2011 the team had sold out every home game at Ripken Stadium since it began playing there in 2002.The stadium is part of Cal Ripken Jr.'s Aberdeen Complex in his hometown of Aberdeen, Maryland, located just off Interstate 95 at Maryland Route 22. Leidos Field at Ripken Stadium is only 2.9 miles off the East Coast Greenway. The complex also includes several smaller fields for local youth sports leagues, as well as an adjacent Marriott hotel. The stadium is the closest structure of the complex to the highway, with the right field fence and scoreboard visible from it. The stadium hosts soccer matches as well. The expansive parking lot of Ripken Stadium is frequently used as a venue for SCCA autocross racing for many racers on the east coast.

Griffith House, or Wright House, is a historic home located at Aberdeen, Harford County, Maryland, United States. It dates to the 18th century and is a 1+1⁄2-story, frame house measuring approximately 18+1⁄2 by 38 feet. The house is reflective of the type of dwelling of a moderately successful 18th-century farmer or planter.Griffith House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
