The Home of the Matildas is a soccer stadium in Melbourne, Australia. It is the home base of the Australia women's national soccer team, and the home of Melbourne Victory in the A-League Women in Bundoora, Melbourne, Australia. It has an 800 capacity grandstand, and a total venue capacity of 3,000.

Preston General Cemetery is located in the northern Melbourne suburb of Bundoora, Victoria, Australia. The main entrance is on Plenty Road, Bundoora. The Cemetery is managed by Greater Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust (GMCT). Preston Cemetery contains the largest public mausoleum in the southern hemisphere.

La Trobe University is a public research university based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Its main campus is located in the suburb of Bundoora. The university was established in 1964, becoming the third university in the state of Victoria and the twelfth university in Australia. La Trobe is one of the Australian verdant universitiesand also part of the Innovative Research Universities group.La Trobe's original and principal campus is located in the Melbourne metropolitan area, within the northern Melbourne suburb of Bundoora. The La Trobe Institute for Molecular Science (LIMS) is an Australian institute based at La Trobe University in Melbourne. It contains research groups in life sciences (biochemistry and genetics), physical sciences (chemistry and physics), and applied sciences (pharmacy) and teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in these areas through the School of Molecular Sciences. Established in 2009, the institute has been led by Professor Andrew Hill since 2017.It also contains two biotech companies: Hexima and AdAlta. The institute is housed in three buildings: LIMS1 and LIMS2 on La Trobe University's main campus in Bundoora, and the Applied Science building on the Bendigo campus.

The Etihad City Football Academy, Melbourne, named after the Etihad airline and located in Melbourne, Australia, was the training and administrative headquarters of professional football club Melbourne City FC between 2015 and 2022. The club has been based at two of these facilities, originally at in the northern Melbourne suburb of Bundoora, and later at the Casey Fields sports precinct in Cranbourne East.

Menzies College is an Australian secular residential college for undergraduate students at La Trobe University, Bundoora campus. Established in 1968, Menzies College is named after Sir Robert Menzies, 12th Prime Minister of Australia and the nation's longest-serving prime minister. Menzies College is located on the eastern side of the Melbourne (Bundoora) campus. The college is made up of single bedrooms with shared bathrooms and includes a café, fitness centre and gymnasium for use of the residents. Menzies College has a capacity of 385 residents. Dale Trendall, Australia's first Professor of Archaeology and La Trobe's only resident fellow lived at Menzies College from 1969 until his death in 1995.

Glenn College is an Australian secular residential college located on the grounds of La Trobe University's principal campus in Melbourne, Victoria. Founded in 1967, it is the first and oldest residential college at the university. The college is named after the founding Chancellor of La Trobe University, Sir Archibald Glenn. There are up to 344 students residing at Glenn College with the majority of residents being undergraduates. Residents of the college are known as "Glennies".

Kingsbury is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 12 km (7.5 mi) north-east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Darebin local government area. Kingsbury recorded a population of 3,460 at the 2021 census.The suburb was named after Bruce Kingsbury VC, who died in Papua New Guinea during the Second World War.

Reservoir High School is a medium-sized co-educational, year 7 to 12 public high school, with approximately 700 students in Reservoir, Victoria, Australia. The school has a well established International Student Program. The program includes students from a range of countries such as China, Vietnam, Nepal, Thailand, India and Saudi Arabia. Reservoir High School is one of a select group of secondary colleges to be accredited to offer advanced learning classes (SEAL or Select Entry Accelerated Learning). This includes the construction of a 250 seat Performing Arts Centre, a new Senior School building, 5 external competition grade netball courts (as well as the 4 internal courts as part of the joint use agreement on the Darebin Sports Stadium) and added in 2022 a new Visual Arts and Technology building. The facilities support all students to achieve at their best in a wide range of pathway programs which are designed to promote the passions, talents and interests of a diverse variety of students.

The City of Glen Eira is a local government area in Victoria, Australia. It is located in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. It has an area of 39 square kilometres (15.06 sq mi) and has an estimated population of 153,858 (51.6% female and 48.4% male). It was formed in 1994 from the merger of the City of Caulfield and parts of the City of Moorabbin, and takes its name from two local landmarks—Glen Eira Road and Glen Eira Mansion.

Olympic Park or Olympic Village is a rectangular football ground located in Heidelberg West on the western fringe of the City of Banyule, was built for the 1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne, Australia. The park is an established sport and community recreation reserve with a significant history and was once used as a prominent training base for the 1956 Olympic Games. Olympic Park is home to Heidelberg United FC in the National Premier Leagues is now a high-profile soccer and cricket venue which also provides a range of other sport, recreation and open space opportunities. The adjacent residential area was the athletes village is now known as Olympic Village. The Olympic Park is also home to Barrbunin Beek, a gathering place for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in and around Banyule. The increased demand to provide functional and appropriate levels of sport and recreation infrastructure, and the shift towards more informal and casual recreation pursuits, prompted Council to develop a Master Plan for Olympic Park. In 2020 the park was renovated to include a football(soccer) field. The original athletics track is still was decomishend as it was in poor condition. The total capacity of the ground is 12,000. A crowd of 11,372 people turned up to watch the 2015 FFA Cup quarter final match between Heidelberg United and Melbourne City. This was the second highest crowd in FFA Cup history.

Northland Shopping Centre is a major shopping centre in Preston, approximately 11 km north of the Melbourne Central Business District in Victoria. It is the largest predominantly single-level shopping centre in Melbourne. It has more than 330 stores all spread over one floor apart from the cinemas and Pancake Parlour on a smaller top level. The centre is anchored by a Myer department store (4 levels), Target and Kmart department stores, Coles, Woolworths and Aldi supermarkets, as well as mini majors Best & Less, JB Hi-Fi, Rebel Sport, TK Maxx and Chemist Warehouse, international brands H&M, Uniqlo and Sephora, and a Hoyts Cinema complex.
