The Dodd Center for Human Rights (formerly the Thomas J. Dodd Research Center) is a University of Connecticut center which supports programming, educational initiatives, and events dedicated to the theme of human rights. The Dodd Center also houses several University of Connecticut departments and centers, including Archives & Special Collections, a unit of the University of Connecticut Library, the Human Rights Institute, and the Center for Judaic Studies and Contemporary Jewish Life. The John P. McDonald Reading Room is the public access point for the university archives and special collections.

The University of Connecticut (UConn) Neag School of Education offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in education, sport management, and leadership across four campuses, with the main campus located in Storrs, Connecticut. The Storrs location is the main UConn campus and is home to the Renzulli Center for Gifted Education and Talent Development, and additional locations are in Hartford, Waterbury, and Groton. It is ranked number 16 among public graduate schools of education in the nation. The schools' research and teaching programs have been funded by a wide number of institutions, such as the National Science Foundation and the Department of Education.

The University of Connecticut (UConn) School of Business is the University of Connecticut's graduate and undergraduate public business school. It spans across four campuses, with the main campus located in Storrs, Connecticut. The UConn School of Business was founded in 1941 and offers academic programs at the bachelor, MBA, Executive MBA, doctorate and advanced certificate levels.

The Homer D. Babbidge Library (HBL) is the main library on the University of Connecticut campus in Storrs.

The University of Connecticut Historic District is a 105-acre (42 ha) historic district including the historic campus of the Connecticut Agricultural School, now the University of Connecticut (UConn).

The University of Connecticut (UConn) is a public land-grant research university system whose main campus is in Storrs, Connecticut. It was founded in 1881 as the Storrs Agricultural School, named after two brothers who donated the land for the school. In 1893, the school became a public land grant college, becoming the University of Connecticut in 1939. Over the following decade, social work, nursing and graduate programs were established, while the schools of law and pharmacy were also absorbed into the university. During the 1960s, UConn Health was established for new medical and dental schools. UConn is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education. The university is classified as an R1 research institution. UConn is one of the founding institutions of the Hartford/Springfield regional economic and cultural partnership alliance known as New England's Knowledge Corridor. UConn was the second U.S. university invited into Universitas 21, an international network of 24 research-intensive universities.Competing in the Big East Conference as the Huskies, UConn has gained recognition for its women's and men's basketball programs. The Huskies have won 23 NCAA championships. The UConn Huskies are the top women's basketball program in the nation, having won a record 11 NCAA Division I National Championships (tied with the UCLA Bruins men's basketball team) and a women's record four in a row (2013–2016), in addition to over 40 conference regular season and tournament championships. UConn also holds the two longest winning streaks of any gender in college basketball history.

Storrs is a village and census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Mansfield in eastern Tolland County, Connecticut, United States. The village is part of the Capitol Planning Region. The population was 15,979 at the 2020 census. It is dominated economically and demographically by the main campus of the University of Connecticut and the associated Connecticut Repertory Theatre.

The William Benton Museum of Art is a public fine arts museum located on the University of Connecticut's main campus in Storrs, Connecticut, US. The Benton houses a permanent collection of over 6,500 artistic works and hosts special exhibitions, concerts, campus art walks, and other events. The museum is named in honor of the prominent U.S. senator and university trustee William Benton. The Benton has a cafe (The Beanery) and a gift store. Admission to the museum is free for all.Constructed in 1920 and used for twenty years as University's main dining hall, the Benton opened officially as an art museum in 1967. The museum building is designed in the Collegiate Gothic style and is one of the core campus buildings in the University of Connecticut Historic District-Connecticut Agricultural School, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.The Benton's collection originated with former Connecticut Agricultural College president Charles Lewis Beach, who began the college's art collection, bequeathed his personal collection of American art to the college in 1933, and left a trust fund for the college to continue acquiring art. Developed over the ensuing decades, the museum's permanent collection includes works by Childe Hassam, Henry Ward Ranger, Emil Carlson, Charles Harold Davis, Ernest Lawson, Ellen Emmet Rand, Guy Wiggins, Mary Cassatt, Thomas Hart Benton, Fairfield Porter, George Bellows, Gustav Klimt, Rembrandt Peale, Georges Braque, Edward Burne-Jones, Reginald Marsh, Käthe-Kollwitz, Arthur Bowen Davies, Maurice Prendergast and Kiki Smith. The collection is strongest in modern and American art, but some works date to the Renaissance, and exhibits are highly diverse.

Harry A. Gampel Pavilion is a 10,167-seat multi-purpose arena in Storrs, Connecticut, United States, on the campus of the University of Connecticut (UConn). The arena opened on January 21, 1990, and is the largest on-campus arena in New England. It was named after industrialist and 1943 UConn graduate Harry A. Gampel, a philanthropist who walked with Martin Luther King Jr., and who donated $1 million for the construction of the arena. It is about 216,000 sq ft (20,100 m2). Gampel Pavilion is the primary home to the UConn Huskies men's basketball and women's basketball teams. It was formerly the home of the women's volleyball team. Since the late 1990s, the men's basketball team has played most of its more important games at the XL Center in Hartford. During the 2011–12 season, the men's basketball team played 11 home games in Hartford and only eight at Gampel. The pavilion is the centerpiece of the UConn Sports Center, which also includes Wolff-Zackin Natatorium.

University of Connecticut College of Engineering is a college of engineering located at UConn's main campus in Storrs, Connecticut. Established in 1916, the college is often placed highly in national rankings, and is recognized as a national leader in closing the gender gap prevalent in undergraduate engineering

Memorial Stadium was a stadium in Storrs, Connecticut. It was primarily used for American football, and was the home field of the University of Connecticut football team between 1953 and 2002. The team's current home is Rentschler Field in East Hartford. It was built for UConn's move up to the NCAA's University Division (later known as Division I-A and now as the Football Bowl Subdivision) in college football. The stadium held 16,200 people and was built in 1953. It was demolished in May 2012 to make way for a new $40 million basketball practice facility, the UConn Basketball Champions Center, which opened in 2014.

Hugh S. Greer Field House, formerly the University of Connecticut Field House, was a 4,604-seat multi-purpose arena in Storrs, Connecticut. It opened December 1, 1954 with a win against then-archrival URI. It was home to the University of Connecticut Huskies men's and women's basketball teams until January 27, 1990, when the Harry A. Gampel Pavilion opened. The arena is named after former Husky basketball player, coach and athletic director, Hugh Greer. It was remodeled in 1996-97 following the departure of the basketball teams to become a full-time indoor track facility.
