The Pearl Street Mall (also referred to as Pearl Street, or Downtown Boulder) is a four-block pedestrian mall in Boulder, Colorado. The pedestrian area stretches from 11th Street to 15th Street along Pearl Street and is home to a number of businesses and restaurants as well as the Boulder County Courthouse.

The Boulder County Courthouse is a historic building on Pearl Street in Boulder, Colorado, built in 1933. The courthouse is a contributing property to the Downtown Boulder Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. In 2018, additional information about the building was added to the documentation of the district.

The Hotel Boulderado is located at 13th and Spruce St. in downtown Boulder, Colorado. It opened its doors on New Year's Day 1909. The original 1908 Otis Elevator is still in operation.As one of the first Boulder hotels, it is located in the heart of downtown. The Adventure Film Festival is an international film festival in Boulder, Colorado. Started in 2004 by local climber Jonny Copp who was killed in an avalanche in 2009 while on an expedition in China, the festival predominantly screens films on adventure, environmental activism, and the outdoors.

The First Baptist Church of Boulder, at 1237 Pine St. in Boulder, Colorado, was built in 1925-26. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004. It is a brick L-shaped building "central three-story square tower is located at the inside corner of the "L" and has the pointed arch main entrance with heavy, paneled, glazed, wooden, double doors. The tower is topped with a pre-cast concrete belfry with such ornate details as a crenellated parapet, quatrefoils, corner piers, and large lancet openings with smaller lancet shapes in the tracery."It was deemed significant as "excellent example of the Late Gothic Revival style. The Downtown Boulder Historic District, in Boulder, Colorado, is a 48 acres (19 ha) historic district which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.It includes a surviving historic commercial area of Boulder, including Pearl Street between 9th and 16th Streets (part or all of what is now the Pearl Street Mall) and parts of Walnut, Spruce, and Pine Streets. It also includes the historic Boulderado Hotel.The township of Boulder was created as a supply center for miners in the Pike's Peak Gold Rush in 1858–59. About 70 cabins were built along Pearl Street in 1859, all of which were eventually replaced by more substantial commercial and other structures. In 1980 the district was deemed "significant because of its association with the evolution and development of business and commerce in the city which has long served as the economic center of the Boulder Valley and surrounding communities. The district is also significant for its architectural features which manifest the salient characteristics of late nineteenth/early twentieth century commercial design." Then, the 168 properties in the district included "125 buildings that contribute to the historic and architectural integrity of the district, 21 more modern structures compatible with the older fabric," and several intrusions, parking structures, and empty lots. The National Register designation provided limited protection, however, and about 15 percent of the historic buildings were lost. The Carnegie Library in Boulder, Colorado is a building from 1906. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. The building is now known as the Carnegie Library for Local History, and is a branch of the Boulder Public Library. The library contains an area of 4,000 square feet (370 m2).

Andrews Arboretum is a small arboretum located on the east side of Broadway between Grandview and Marine Streets in Boulder, Colorado, United States. It is open every day free of charge. The arboretum was established in 1948 by Miss Maud Reed, a former botany teacher at Boulder High School. At her request, the arboretum was named after Darwin M. Andrews, a horticulturist from Boulder. In 1989 the arboretum was acquired by Boulder's Parks and Recreation Department, and is now managed by its Forestry Division. It contains native evergreens, cultivated shrubs, groundcovers, and exotic trees.
