St David's Priory Church is a Catholic parish church in Swansea, Wales. It is the oldest Catholic church in Swansea. It was built in 1847 and replaced a church on the same site that was constructed around 1808. It is called the Priory Church after the Benedictines ministered there from 1873. It was designed by Charles Hansom in the Gothic revival style of architecture. It is located on St David's Place, between LC, Swansea and Swansea Minster, in the centre of the city. It is a Grade II listed building.

The LC is a leisure centre located in the city centre of Swansea, Wales, UK. Originally Swansea Leisure Centre, it was re-branded as 'The LC' when the facility re-opened to the public on 1 March 2008 after a £32-million makeover. The LC's exterior has been revitalised by replacing the old concrete panels with clear glass, translucent glazing, and timber panelling.

St. David's Shopping Centre is a shopping complex in Swansea, south Wales. The complex is located adjacent to the Quadrant Shopping Centre and opposite St Mary's Church. Completed in 1982, the complex has thus far been fairly unsuccessful, in terms of filling its outlet spaces and retaining customers. The complex consists of several buildings, clad in red brick, which comprise a number of shop units at ground level which are directly accessible from the street. There was a market hall on the first floor which is now closed. During the 1980s the upper floor area was open and contained many small stalls run by local traders. To the south of the complex lies the St. David's car park. An octagonal building located in the north west corner of the complex was occupied by S4C as a studio for a number of years. The studio was used for broadcasting the Heno programme. The building was originally built to be occupied by a restaurant but it was never taken up for this purpose. For most of the building's lifetime so far, it has been unoccupied. Also, there have been many plans for the old shopping centre including demolition and expansion of the adjacent Quadrant shopping centre; or total demolition and to be replaced by a multi-storey car park. If approved it would have led to the demolition of the Quadrant and St, Davids car parks to expand the Quadrant shopping centre. All of the plans include the Quadrant as an integral part. Swansea Council and the Welsh Government bought the complex in December 2011 with a plan to demolish the empty part of the site to create a 160 space car park.In 2018 it was announced that the shopping centre would be turned into a 3500-seater arena run as part of the AtG group.

The Tower, Meridian Quay is a residential tower in Swansea, Wales, United Kingdom. It is the tallest building in Wales. Standing at 107 m (351 ft), Meridian Quay is the only skyscraper in Wales (buildings over 100 m tall) and one of several high-rises in Swansea. It is the 106th tallest building in the United Kingdom in joint place with the Shell Centre in the London Borough of Lambeth.Initially known as Ferrara Tower, it was part of the new £50 million Meridian Quay housing and office development project. Proposals for the project were made in 2004 and construction work began on site in 2006. On 26 January 2008, one of the construction workers died after falling three storeys from the tower. The construction company, Carillion, chose not to release his name. A fire broke out on the 20th floor of the tower in April 2008 and took 45 minutes to extinguish. The tower "topped-out" to its full height on 12 September 2008.The tower has 29 storeys, double the number of the previous tallest building in Swansea, the BT Tower. Most of the tower houses residential apartments. The ground floor has a concierge desk which is staffed 24 hours a day, whilst the top three floors form the Grape and Olive restaurant run by the Brains Brewery This was opened following the unsuccessful 290 cover Penthouse restaurant. Press reports stated that the penthouse apartment on the 26th floor was sold for £1 million.

Swansea Victoria is a former railway station in Swansea, south Wales, opened to passenger and goods traffic on 14 December 1867. Owned successively by the Llanelly Railway and Dock Company (1867 to 1871), the Swansea and Carmarthen Railways Company (1871 to 1873), the London and North Western Railway Company (L.N.W.R., 1873 to 1922), the London, Midland and Scottish Railway Company (L.M.S., 1923 to 1947) and British Railways (1948 to 1964), it was served by trains to and from Shrewsbury, Crewe, Liverpool, Manchester and York and formed the southern terminus of the Central Wales line, most of which is still operational as the Heart of Wales Line. Victoria closed in June 1964, having been listed in the Report on the Reshaping of British Railways (better known as the Beeching Report) the previous year. The site was subsequently cleared and used for Swansea Leisure Centre (now the LC).

St Mary's Collegiate and Parish Church is an Anglican church in the centre of Swansea, Wales, UK. It is considered the Civic Church of Swansea. There was a church on the site of St Mary's since circa 1328, erected by Henry de Gower, Bishop of Saint David's. One Sunday morning, in 1739, the roof of the nave collapsed into the church while the congregation was waiting to enter the building. The whole structure was re-built apart from the tower. 1822 saw the church being lit by gas for the first time with thirty six lamps. The church underwent complete renovation between 1879 and 1882 by Vicar Dr Morgan. In 1896, the church was flattened and rebuilt again under the designs of Arthur Blomfield by Dean Allan Smith, though some parts of the old church survived the re-development. In February 1941 the church was extensively damaged by Bombing during the Blitz. It was not rebuilt until the 1950s.From the 1890s the Swansea Devil stood on a set of buildings facing the west side of the church, constructed by a disgruntled rival of Blomfield's, angry at the commissioning of Blomfield's designs over his own.

The Quadrant Shopping Centre is the principal under-cover shopping centre in Swansea, Wales. The centre opened in 1979. From the 1980s to 2019 it was home to the Swansea Devil, a controversial carved wooden statue of the Devil. The centre and surrounding areas are owned by the LaSalle Investment Management.

Swansea City bus station is a bus station serving Swansea, Wales. It lies immediately to the west of the Quadrant Shopping Centre. The station has 20 stands for local bus services with three more serving national coach services. Coach services operated by National Express run westward to Llanelli, Carmarthen, and Haverfordwest and eastward to London, Birmingham, Cardiff, Bristol, as well as Heathrow Airport and Gatwick Airport. There is also a fast daytime service (First Cymru X10) connecting the bus station to Bridgend Designer Outlet and Cardiff city centre hourly (every 90 to 105 minutes on Sundays). There is a taxi rank at the south end of the station.

The National Waterfront Museum, Swansea or NWMS (Welsh: Amgueddfa Genedlaethol y Glannau) is a museum in Swansea, Wales, forming part of Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales. It is an Anchor Point of ERIH, The European Route of Industrial Heritage.

The Maritime Quarter (including Swansea Marina) is a residential area of Swansea, Wales, UK located immediately south of the city centre shopping core. It falls within Swansea's Castle ward. The area is bounded by Brynmill to the west, Swansea Bay to the South, the River Tawe to the east and the A4067 to the north. The area comprises a mixture of housing ranging from 1980s low-rise apartment blocks around the old South Dock to town houses arranged in quadrangles in the south eastern part of the area, which were built in the 2000s (decade). The Marina, is unusual in that planning approval was given on condition that a significant proportion of the development be sold to Housing Associations for social housing. The tallest building in Wales, the Meridian Quay Tower is located in the area.

Swansea Marina is a marina located behind the Swansea barrage at the mouth of the River Tawe in Swansea, south Wales. Swansea Marina was first awarded blue flag status in June 2005. There is a boat yard for building and servicing boats, and a few shops selling boating equipment.

LV 91 is a former Trinity House lightvessel that is now a museum ship in Swansea. LV 91 is on the National Historic Ships UK register as "Light Vessel 91 Humber".LV 91 is owned by Swansea Museum and displayed in Swansea Marina as "Light Vessel 91 Helwick".
