The Nahal Shechem (נחל שכם; Shechem Stream), known in Arabic as the Wadi Sha'ir upstream and the Wadi Burj downstream, is an intermittent stream in the West Bank and Israel. It originates north of Nablus, the largest city on its banks, in the gorge between Mount Gerizim and Mount Ebal, the site of the ancient Shechem, the stream's namesake. It then heads northwest to Anabta and flows through the town. Afterward, it heads west towards Tulkarm and passes through its northern periphery. The stream then heads northwest to Gan Yoshiya and turns west, where it drains into the Nahal Alexander shortly afterward.

Qaqun

Qaqun (Arabic: قاقون) was a Palestinian Arab village located 6 kilometers (3.7 mi) northwest of the city of Tulkarm at the only entrance to Mount Nablus from the coastal Sharon plain.Evidence of organized settlement in Qaqun dates back to the period of Assyrian rule in the region. Ruins of a Crusader and Mamluk castle still stand at the site. Qaqun was continuously inhabited by Arabs since at least as early as the Mamluk period and was depopulated during a military assault by Israeli forces during the 1948 Arab-Israeli war.

Wadi Qabbani

Wadi Qabbani (Arabic: وادي قباني), also known as Khirbat ash Sheik Husein (Arabic: خربة الشيخ حسين) was a Palestinian Arab village in the Tulkarm Subdistrict. It was probably depopulated during the 1947–48 Civil War in Mandatory Palestine on March 1, 1948, as part of Operation Coastal Clearing. It was located 12 km northwest of Tulkarm. The name, Qabbani came from the Lebanese family who owned most of the land.
