Taguig National High School (Filipino: Mataas na Paaralang Pambansa ng Tagig) commonly abbreviated as T.N.H.S. is a state-owned secondary high school institution in the Philippines. The campus lies at Imelda Romualdez Marcos Road abbreviated as I.R.M. Road and situated at both Barangay Maharlika Village and Barangay New Lower Bicutan.

Taguig City University (TCU; Filipino: Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Tagig) is a municipal public university located in Central Bicutan, Taguig. It is funded by the City Government of Taguig. TCU was established in 2006 by the City Government of Taguig by virtue of Ordinance No. 29 Series of 2004.

New Lower Bicutan is one of the 28 barangays of Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines. It was created into a barangay under Taguig City Ordinance No. 24, Series 2008 and ratified on December 18, 2008. It is located in the south eastern part of the city and is bounded by the barangays of Hagonoy and Katuparan on the north, the Signal villages (North, Central and South) on the west, the barangays of Lower Bicutan and Maharlika on the south, and Laguna de Bay on the east. It was a former part of the barangay of Lower Bicutan.

Upper Bicutan National High School, commonly abbreviated as U.B.N.H.S is a secondary high school institution located at General Santos Avenue, Barangay Central Bicutan, Taguig City in the Philippines.

The Bureau of Immigration Bicutan Detention Center (BI–Bicutan) is the principal immigration detention center administered by the Bureau of Immigration of the Philippines. Located inside Camp Bagong Diwa, in Lower Bicutan, Taguig, the facility is known internally as the Warden Facility and Protection Unit (WFPU). However, in press releases and public statements, the Bureau variously refers to the facility as being a "jail", "warden facility" or "detention center". The function of the facility is to hold foreign detainees who are awaiting deportation, for example, because they have pending criminal cases, or because they are accused of having overstayed their visas. Perennially overcrowded, it has been accused of widespread human rights abuses and has been compared to a gulag by The Manila Times. As an administrative detention center, there is no constitutional right to bail from BI–Bicutan, and some detainees have spent upwards of ten years there, neither convicted of a crime nor deported from the country.

Maharlika Village is one of the 28 barangays of Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines. It has an area of 54 hectares (130 acres) and has the biggest Muslim community in Metro Manila with a population of 18,406.Maharlika Village, which is shaped almost like a square, is bounded by Brgy. South Signal Village to the north, Upper Bicutan to the west, Central Bicutan to the west and south, and by Lower Bicutan and New Lower Bicutan to the east. The village was created in 1974 when President Ferdinand Marcos set aside 30 hectares (74 acres) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines Officers Village in Taguig to become a subdivision for Muslim Filipinos. It had been settled by twenty Moro families since the 1950s, led by an imam named Muhammad Kusin. They lived in huts and had requested the government for their own community since 1964. The community grew to 480 families, which included members of the Moro elite, such as descendants of sultans from Mindanao, government officials, military officers, ambassadors and business executives. The government then created two more sitios to the barangay of Maharlika Village: Sitio Imelda Romualdez Marcos and Sitio Bandara-Ingued.

The Polytechnic University of the Philippines Taguig (PUPT) is a satellite campus of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines located at Taguig, Philippines and was established on 1992. The site in which the campus sits was reserved exclusively for the use and disposition of the university through the proclamation of President Ferdinand Marcos on 1967.
