Bukit Brown MRT station is a future underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the Circle line (CCL), located in Novena planning area, Singapore. Announced along with the 17 stations of CCL Stages 4 and 5 in November 2005, it was designated as a station to be opened in the future. This station is currently non-operational due to the lack of development and demand in the area, although there are structural provisions set for the station future construction. Jalan Mashhor serves the station facilities on the ground level.

Caldecott Hill is a private housing estate, located along Thomson Road in the Central Region of Singapore. It is tied to the growth of the media industry in Singapore. In the past, Singapore's broadcast station, Mediacorp was located there. The Caldecott Broadcast Centre opened in 1954. In 2017, Mediacorp moved to its new campus on Stars Avenue, one-north. After Mediacorp moved, the old campus at Andrew Road was left abandoned until October 2020 where they appointed real estate consultants to market the area to hold 67 bungalow plots. In December 2020, the land was sold for $280.9million to a private estate company.It was also referred to as "The Hill" by the local media and MediaCorp employees. It is served by Caldecott MRT station on the Circle MRT line.

The company is officially an auxiliary police force permitted to be armed under regulations from the Police Force Act 2004.Established on 31 March 2004, AETOS began operations following the merger of the Auxiliary Police Forces of PSA Corporation Ltd, Singapore Technologies Kinetics Ltd (ST Kinetics), and subsequently Changi International Airport Services Pte Ltd (CIAS). This brought together the country's security units in maritime, key installations protection and aviation under one roof. It also conducts operations with assistance from Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs).

Mount Pleasant MRT station is a future underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Thomson-East Coast Line in Novena, Singapore. Located within the former grounds of Old Police Academy, the station will serve the future housing developments in the area. First announced in August 2012 as part of the Thomson line (TSL), the station was constructed as part of TEL Phase 3 (TEL3) with the merger of the TSL and the Eastern Region line (ERL). Initially slated to open along with the TEL3 stations, it was announced in November 2021 that the station would only open with the completion of the housing developments in the area.

Lee Ah Mooi Old Age Home is an old folk's home located along Thomson Lane in Toa Payoh, Singapore. A second branch of the Lee Ah Mooi Old Age Home has been opened along Silat Avenue in Bukit Merah.

The Old Police Academy (abbreviation: OPA; formerly known as the Police Academy (alternate: TRACOM), Police Training School and Police Depot) is a defunct police training school-facility located at 1, Mount Pleasant Road, off Thomson Road in Singapore. It was the primary training institute for the Singapore Police Force's Training Command until December 2005, when most of the school's functions moved to the new Home Team Academy in Choa Chu Kang. Today, it is being gradually demolished to make way for the upcoming Mount Pleasant MRT station as well as for future housing redevelopment and land repurposing.

Braddell Secondary School was a co-educational government secondary school in Singapore. It started operations in 1981 and ceased to exist in 2000, when it was merged with Westlake Secondary School to form Braddell-Westlake Secondary School

Lim Bo Seng (Chinese: 林谋盛; pinyin: Lín Móushèng; 27 April 1909 – 29 June 1944) was a Chinese resistance fighter based in Singapore and Malaya during World War II. Before the outbreak of World War II, he was a prominent businessman among the Chinese community in Singapore. When the Second Sino-Japanese War broke out, he participated in anti-Japanese activities in Malaya and Singapore. During Japanese occupation of Malaya and Singapore, he was tasked to establish Force 136, a guerrilla task force backed by Special Operations Executive (SOE). However, he was captured by Japanese forces and died while interned. He is remembered as a war hero in Singapore and Malaysia.

Caldecott MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) interchange station on the Circle line (CCL) and Thomson–East Coast line (TEL), located in Toa Payoh planning area, Singapore. It is situated underneath Toa Payoh Link near the junction of Toa Payoh Rise, located near the Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped, the Caldecott Broadcast Centre and Mount Alvernia Hospital. The station is operated by SMRT Trains. Initially planned to be a shell station tentatively named Thomson, in 2008, the station was announced to be opened along with the Stages 4 and 5 of the CCL stations. The CCL station opened in 2011. In 2012, Caldecott was announced to be an interchange with the TEL. Although expected to be completed in 2020, the TEL extension to the station was delayed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Singapore. The TEL station opened on 28 August 2021 along with the TEL Stage 2 (TEL2) stations. The CCL station, which is a Civil Defence (CD) shelter, features The Cartography Of Memories by Hazel Lim. Another artwork by Claire Lim is displayed at the TEL station. The TEL platforms are the deepest among the TEL2 stations at 35 metres (115 ft).

The Pan Island Expressway (Abbreviated as: PIE) is the oldest and longest expressway in Singapore. It is also Singapore's longest road. The expressway runs from the East Coast Parkway near Changi Airport in the east to Tuas in the west and has a total length of 42.8 kilometres (26.6 miles). Initially conceived by the Public Works Department in the 1960s as part of road expansions for handling rising traffic volumes, work on the PIE commenced in 1964. The first section, Jalan Toa Payoh, was completed by 1969. Construction of the other segments of the expressway were carried out in the 1970s. The initial expressway, from Jalan Boon Lay to the East Coast Parkway, was completed in June 1982. The PIE was then realigned and extended further westward to Tuas between 1991 and 1993. By the 1990s, the expressway was able to handle large amounts of traffic. The expressway and the interchanges along its route were expanded in the 1990s and 2000s to alleviate traffic congestion.

MacRitchie Reservoir is Singapore's oldest reservoir. The reservoir was completed in 1868 by impounding water from an earth embankment, and was then known as the Impounding Reservoir or Thomson Reservoir.

Mount Alvernia Hospital is a 319-bed general acute care hospital with tertiary medical capabilities and two multi-disciplinary medical specialist centres in Thomson Road, Singapore. It is the only not-for-profit, private Catholic missionary hospital. Fiscal surplus accumulated is channelled back into supporting the Assisi Hospice, hospital development, local community outreach activities and the Franciscan Missionaries of the Divine Motherhood (FMDM) global mission activities to reach out to the sick, poor and marginalized through education, nursing, pastoral care, counselling, prison and parish ministry.
