Ringmer Association Football Club is a football club based in Ringmer, England. They are currently members of the Mid-Sussex League Premier Division and play at King's Academy, Ringmer.

Plashett Park Wood is a 157.6-hectare (389-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest between Lewes and Uckfield in East Sussex.This ancient wood has an extensive area of rides. There are several rare plants, such as the spiked rampion and 25 species of butterfly, including the pearl bordered fritillary, purple hairstreak and silver-washed fritillary. There are also 67 species of breeding birds.

The Church of St Mary the Virgin is a Grade II* listed Anglican church in the village of Glynde in East Sussex. It was built in the 1760s by Richard Trevor, bishop of Durham, whose family seat was the adjacent Glynde Place.

Glynde Place is an Elizabethan Manor House at Glynde in East Sussex, England. Situated in the South Downs National Park, it is the family home of the Viscounts Hampden, whose forebears built the house in 1569. It is a Grade I listed building. The adjacent church was built in the eighteenth century. In 1883 the Brand family estate consisted of 8,846 acres (35.80 km2) in Sussex (inherited through the families of Morley and Trevor, and valued at £8,121 a year), 6,658 in Hertfordshire, 3,600 in Essex, 2,081 in county Cambridge, and 978 in Suffolk. (Total 22,163 acres (89.69 km2) worth £24,753 a year).From 2008 - 2013, the house was subject to a major renovation, organised by the 7th Viscount Hampden, and funded by the sale of one of the estate's paintings.The house and gardens, the latter being Grade II* listed, are open to the public for tours.

Broyle Place is a historic house in Sussex, England. It is a Grade II listed Elizabethan manor house. In the 12th century, it belonged to Theobald, Archbishop of Canterbury. It has also been owned by Thomas Sackville, 1st Earl of Dorset and Sir Herbert Springet, 1st Baronet.

Southerham Farm is a 131-hectare (320-acre) nature reserve on the eastern outskirts of Lewes in East Sussex. It is managed by the Sussex Wildlife Trust.The thin and infertile soils on this chalk site result in a floristically very rich grassland. Plants which flower in the summer include horseshoe vetch, kidney vetch, mouse-ear hawkweed, field scabious, dropwort and salad burnet.

Cliffe Hill is a hill to the east of the town of Lewes in East Sussex, England. It is impressive on its western edge, where it looms over Lewes. Its summit is covered in a golf course. It is the second lowest Marilyn in England. Also to be found on the hill is an obelisk known as Martyrs' Memorial commemorating the destruction of Lewes' monastery by Henry VIII and the burning of the 17 Protestant martyrs known as the Sussex Martyrs in 1555–1557. The obelisk is located close the site where a bonfire was located in 1606 on the first anniversary of the discovery of the Gunpowder Plot. A Bronze Age barrow was located on the hill, and excavated in 1930 before being destroyed by quarrying. The barrow contained several cremations topped by a cairn of flints, and was roughly 15 metres in diameter. Another long barrow is used as a hazard on one of the golf course holes. Although the summit is on the Lewes golf course, a public footpath runs along the southern flank of the hill, from which the golf course can readily be reached by any one of several stiles which are located on the course's southern boundary.

Isfield is a small village and civil parish in the Wealden District of East Sussex in England, located north-east of Lewes.
