Chung-Ho Memorial Hospital

The Kaohsiung Medical University (KMU; Chinese: 高雄醫學大學; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Ko-hiông I-ha̍k Tāi-ha̍k) is a private medical school located in Sanmin District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

The Chang-Gu World Trade Center (Chinese: 長谷世貿聯合國大樓; pinyin: Chánggǔ Shìmào Liánhéguó Dàlóu), also known as Grand 50 Tower, is a 222 metres (728 ft) tall skyscraper in Sanmin District of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It was completed in 1992 and was designed by C.Y. Lee & Partners. It was the first building in Taiwan to reach a height of 50 floors, as is highlighted by its alternative name.

The building has a floor area of 257,007.74 m2 (2,766,408.3 sq ft), and it comprises 31 floors above ground and six basement levels. The building is phase one of the E SKY LAND complex. Operated by Marriott Hotels & Resorts, the hotel has started trial operations on December 25, 2020 and will start operating fully on April 3, 2021.

Kaohsiung Main Station (Chinese: 高雄車站; pinyin: Gāoxióng chēzhàn) is a railway and metro station in Sanmin District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan served by the Taiwan Railways and Kaohsiung Rapid Transit. It is one of four special class stations, the highest class with the most services. It is currently undergoing reconstruction, scheduled to be complete in 2024.

E Sky Mall (Chinese: 義享時尚廣場) is a shopping center located in Gushan District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The mall was originally expected to open in the summer of 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been postponed to start trial operation on 20 March 2021, and officially opened on 3 April 2021. Within walking distance from Aozihdi metro station, the mall occupies the lower floors of Kaohsiung Marriott Hotel and is a part of the E SKY LAND (義享天地) complex.

The Howard Plaza Hotel Kaohsiung (traditional Chinese: 高雄福華大飯店; simplified Chinese: 高雄福华大饭店; pinyin: Gāoxióng Fúhuá Dà Fàndiàn) is a skyscraper hotel completed in 1996 in Sinsing District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The roof height of the building is 356 ft (109 m), and it comprises 30 floors above ground.

Joy Plaza (Chinese: 悅誠廣場) was a shopping center located in Sanmin District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The mall started trial operation on 5 June 2019, and officially opened on 3 July 2019. With a total floor area of 38,940 m2 (419,100 sq ft), the mall houses 120 stores, in which the catering industry accounts for 40%. The main core stores are Eslite Life, Toys R Us and various themed restaurants. The annual revenue target for the first year is NT$ 1.5 billion. On August 31, 2022, due to impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the entire Joy Plaza was closed down.

Aozihdi is a station on the Red line of Kaohsiung MRT at the edge of Zuoying District and Gushan District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The name comes from lap-a-té (漯仔底), which is an old name of this area.
