Kaohsiung Main Station (Chinese: 高雄車站; pinyin: Gāoxióng chēzhàn) is a railway and metro station in Sanmin District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan served by the Taiwan Railways and Kaohsiung Rapid Transit. It is one of four special class stations, the highest class with the most services. It is currently undergoing reconstruction, scheduled to be complete in 2024.

Kaohsiung Municipal Kaohsiung Senior High School (KSHS; Chinese: 高雄市立高雄高級中學; pinyin: Gāoxióng Shìlì Gāoxióng Gāojí Zhōngxué) is a high school in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Formerly a boys' school, the school has offered music, gymnastics and science classes since it became co-educational in 1986. Located near the Kaohsiung Main Station, construction of the school's historic riverside campus can be dated back to the Japanese era of Taiwan.

The roof height of the building is 356 ft (109 m), and it comprises 30 floors above ground.

Formosa Boulevard (Chinese: 美麗島站; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Bí-lē-tó-chām) is a station of Kaohsiung Metro located in Sinsing District, Kaohsiung. It is currently the sole interchange station between metro lines in Kaohsiung.Formosa Boulevard station is named after the Formosa Boulevard project, a remodelling of Kaohsiung's Jhongshan Road in preparation for the 2009 World Games. Formosa Boulevard is in turn named after the Formosa Incident. Transferring from the Red line to the Orange line (or vice versa) takes roughly 4 minutes.

The Sanfong Central Street or Sanfong Jhong Street (traditional Chinese: 三鳳中街; simplified Chinese: 三凤中街; pinyin: Sānfèng Zhōng Jiē) is a street in Sanmin District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It is a traditional shopping area selling grocery goods and the largest grocery goods wholesale center in Kaohsiung.

The Shr-Hwa Financial Center, also known as United World Chinese Bank (Chinese: 國泰世華金融大樓), is a 30-story, 129 metres (423 ft) skyscraper office building completed in 1996 in Sinsing District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The top floor of the building is the Mountain Group Museum, which displays arts and other collections by the Mountain Group, which also owns the Cathay Pacific Central Plaza in Kaohsiung. In November 2020, the corporate headquarters of the ecKare group owned by Eastern Media International was established in the building. As of February 2021, it is the 26th tallest building in Kaohsiung.

It was established on 16 June 1957 to provide clinical training, health care and medical treatment, and facilitate medical research and development. It is the teaching hospital for Kaohsiung Medical University. Kaohsiung Medical University Chung-Ho Memorial Hospital is located at the corner of Tzyou 1st Road and Zi-You 1st Street and consists of 1626 beds and 12 departments. A pioneer hospital in Southern Taiwan, it offers general medical care as well as a wide range of highly specialized services and innovative care. KMU Chung-Ho Memorial Hospital is a part of the Kaohsiung Medical University Medical Center network of teaching hospitals associated with the Kaohsiung Medical University. KMU Chung-Ho Memorial Hospital was designated by the Taiwan government a High Quality Cancer Therapy Center in 2010. Houyi is a station on the Red line of Kaohsiung MRT in Sanmin District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The character 驛 (Chinese:yì, Japanese: えき, eki) means "station" in Japanese; the station name literally means "(Kaohsiung) rear station".
