The National Soccer Hall of Fame is a private, non-profit institution established in 1979 and currently located in Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. The Hall of Fame honors soccer achievements in the United States. Induction into the hall is widely considered the highest honor in American soccer.

Justin Wakeland High School is a public high school located in Frisco, Texas, United States. It is classified as a 5A school by the University Interscholastic League (UIL). It is a part of the Frisco Independent School District, and is one of twelve district high schools. It opened on August 14, 2006. Incoming freshmen usually come from Griffin Middle School and Cobb Middle School. In 2015, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency.

The Cloyce Box Ranch was the site of the original Southfork ranch location, where the initial five episodes of Dallas were filmed. The series left the location at the end of the first season in 1978 at the request of property owner, Cloyce K. Box, who was unhappy with the negative portrayal of the Texas oil industry by the show. The production moved to the ranch "Duncan Acres", near Plano, Texas, where the series was filmed for the rest of its run.The ranch house, a 14,000-square-foot colonial-style mansion designed by John Astin Perkins and originally built in 1941 as a replica of Tara, the fictional plantation house in the 1939 film Gone With The Wind, no longer exists, having been destroyed by a fire in 1987. The frame of the original Southfork Ranch that was used in the pilot season still stands in Frisco, Texas, on the northeast corner of Preston Rd. and Main St. The address of the house is: 10514 E. Universal Kids Resort is an upcoming 32-acre (13 ha) theme park and entertainment resort complex under construction in Frisco, Texas. Announced in January 2023, it is the third Universal Studios Resort in the United States. The park is scheduled to open no earlier than 2026.

Legacy Christian Academy is a private, non-denominational Christian elementary, middle, and college-preparatory school located in Frisco, Texas. Legacy's upper school (grades 9–12) was named a national blue ribbon school in 2017.

The World Olympic Gymnastics Academy (WOGA) is a two-facility gymnastics club located in Frisco and Plano. In 1994, WOGA was established by Yevgeny Marchenko, a World Sports acrobatic champion who guided Carly Patterson to her gold medal, and Valeri Liukin, a Soviet Olympic winner from 1988 who later worked as coordinator for the USA Gymnastics women's national team. Edouard Larov, a former coach of Liukin and the USSR and Canadian national teams, also trained gymnasts at the club. In 2003, WOGA gymnasts Patterson and Hollie Vise won two individual medals and contributed to the first team gold for the United States at the World Championships. In 2004, Patterson became the second American gymnast to become the women's Olympic all-around gymnastics champion, and the first American to do so in a non-boycotted Olympics. WOGA hosts an annual meet at the Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas, which has competitions from level 1 to 10 and an international elite competition that has featured competitors such as Mira Boumejmajen, Marine Brevet, Madeline Gardiner, Laurie Hernandez, Katelyn Ohashi, and Jordyn Wieber.

Stonebriar Community Church is a nondenominational evangelical megachurch in Frisco, Texas, a northern suburb of Dallas, Texas. The church was founded in 1998 by a group of individuals including Senior Pastor Chuck Swindoll, whose sermons are broadcast worldwide on the radio program Insight for Living.
