Seoul Battleship Park

ROKS Seoul (FF-952) is the second ship of the Ulsan-class frigate in the Republic of Korea Navy. She is named after the city, Seoul.

The Seongsan Bridge (Korean: 성산대교) is the 12th bridge that crosses the Han River in South Korea and connects the districts of Mapo District and Yeongdeungpo District. The bridge was completed in 1980. It is one of 31 bridges over the Han River and has a length of about 1400 meters. It is popular with photographers because it is aesthetic and slightly thicker than the other bridges.

The World Cup Fountain was a fountain built to commemorate the 2002 FIFA World Cup co-hosted by South Korea and Japan. The World Cup Fountain is located in the Han River in Seoul, South Korea, between the World Cup Stadium and Seonyudo Park. The fountain jets water at a height of 202 metres (663 ft), a symbolic gesture to the year the FIFA World Cup was held in Seoul. The fountain is taller than the Gateway Geyser, or the fountain in Fountain Hills, Arizona or the Port Fountain in Karachi, Pakistan. For comparison, the Washington Monument in Washington D.C. is 169 meters tall.The fountain does not flow constantly. It can only be seen for a few hours a day and weather permitting.

Hapjeong-dong (Korean pronunciation: [hapt͈ɕʌŋdoŋ]) is a dong, neighbourhood of the Mapo-gu district in Seoul, South Korea.

Seoul Ring is the English nickname for the Millennium Gate project, which was planned to be built along the Han River (Korea) in Peace Park, Mapo District, Seoul. It is also the abbreviation for the Seoul Ring Zero, a giant Ferris wheel that was planned to be constructed in Sky Park, Mapo District, Seoul. Although the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced the Seoul Ring Zero, now renamed to Seoul Twin Eye, and the project is underway in Peace Park, Mapo District, Mayor Oh Se-hoon announced they would continue to use the name 'Seoul Ring' due to the difficulty in pronunciation.

Seonyudo (Korean: 선유도; Hanja: 仙遊島; RR: Seonyudo) is an island in the Han River in Seoul, South Korea. There is a Seonyudo park all over the island. The total area of the island is 0.11 km2. Seonyudo Park is an ecological park that meets the Yanghwa Bridge.

The Millennium Gate (Native name: 천년의 문, Nickname: Seoul Ring) was envisioned in 2000 as the world's first mega-sized ring-shaped architectural structure. It was planned to be erected along the Han River in Sangam-dong, Seoul, in conjunction with the new millennium (Millennium), and the 2002 Korea-Japan FIFA World Cup (2002 FIFA World Cup).

The Yanghwa Bridge (양화대교) is an eight lane bridge spanning the Han River in Seoul. The bridge connects Mapo-gu on the north side of the river to Yeongdeungpo-gu on the south side of the river. The bridge is buttressed by the eastern end of the island of Seonyudo, home to Seonyudo Park (선유도공원). The bridge is a combination of two bridges: the old bridge, originally called the "Second Han River Bridge" (제2한강교), completed in 1965; and the new bridge, completed in 1982. The old bridge was the first bridge built by Korean technology after independence in 1945 and served as the gateway from Seoul to the west coast. Due to increasing traffic, construction for an expansion started in 1979 and the new eight lane bridge was completed in February 1982. The old bridge's upper structure has a width of 18.0m, length 1,053m and is composed of steel plate girders and concrete box girders. The new bridge has a width of 16.1m, length 1,053m and is a steel plate girder bridge. The lower structure has an open caisson well foundation. The bridge went through repairs and renovations in 1996 and reopened in April 2002 with additional ramps. As of February 2010, the bridge is once again going through renovations by widening the space between bridge posts to allow 5000t ships to pass. Yanghwa Bridge also has a song named after it called "양화대교 Yanghwa Bridge" by R&B/soul singer Zion.T in 2014.

The World Cup Bridge (Korean: 월드컵대교) is a bridge under construction that is planned to cross the Han River in South Korea and connect Mapo District and Yeongdeungpo District. Construction on the bridge began in March 2010 and was originally slated to be completed by August 2015, but budget cuts have slowed its pace. The bridge is intended to connect the Seobu Expressway to Mapo District. The K-pop group BTS performed the song "Butter" on the bridge for the July 14, 2021 airing of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Mapo-gu Office Station is a Seoul Metropolitan Subway station near the Mapo district office in Seoul, opened in December 2000.

Mangwon station is a railway station on Line 6 of the Seoul Subway in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
