Praça de Entrecampos is a plaza in Lisbon, Portugal. "Entrecampos" means "between the fields" in Portuguese. Entrecampos is located between Campo Grande ("large field") and Campo Pequeno ("small field"). At the center is Lisbon's Monument to the Heroes of the Peninsular War (Monumento aos Heróis da Guerra Peninsular). The plaza is the starting point of three major avenues: Avenida da República to the South, Avenida dos Estados Unidos da América to the East and Avenida das Forças Armadas to the West. The plaza has a Lisbon Metro station on the Yellow Line (Linha Amarela) and a CP railway station. The metro station is spelled as two words, Entre Campos. The railway station is written as a single word, Entrecampos. Lines serving the railway station include the Alfa Pendular and suburban lines.

The Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal (Portuguese for National Library of Portugal) is the Portuguese national library, fulfilling the function of legal deposit and copyright.

Entre Campos station is part of the Yellow Line of the Lisbon Metro.

ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa is a Portuguese public tertiary education institution. It is located in the city centre of Lisbon, in Cidade Universitária, adjoining the Institute of Social Sciences (ICS) and Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning (IGOT) of the University of Lisbon. ISCTE was formerly called Instituto Superior de Ciências do Trabalho e da Empresa (in English, Higher Institute of Business and Labour Sciences), but its full name was dropped in 2009 when it became a university institute of foundational nature. As of today, ISCTE is widely considered a fully-fledged public research university despite its traditional designation, as reflected in national news coverage of the performance of Portuguese universities internationally and open, external assessments by international organisations. ISCTE Business School holds institutional accreditations from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and Association of MBAs (AMBA).

Alvalade is a station on the Green Line of the Lisbon Metro. The station is located under Av. de Roma, at the intersection with Av. da Igreja in the Alvalade neighbourhood.

The Alvalade Square is an urban square in the city of Lisbon, Portugal, located in the civil parish of Alvalade, within the Neighbourhood of Alvalade. It is located within a roundabout, which forms a crossing between Igreja Avenue and Roma Avenue.

The Monument of Saint Anthony is a monument in Lisbon, Portugal, located at the Alvalade Square, within the civil parish of Alvalade. It consist of a bronze statue which is placed on pedestal formed by 4 marble blocks. The statue depicts Anthony of Padua, a 12th- and 13th-century Roman Catholic priest, who is the official patron saint of the city of Lisbon. The monument had been designed by architect Carlos Antero Ferreira and sculptor António Duarte, and unveiled on 4 October 1972.

Entrecampos Station (Portuguese: Estação Ferroviária de Entrecampos) is a railway station located in the city of Lisbon. It is served by the Sintra and Azambuja Lines, as well as the private operator Fertagus. It is managed by Infraestruturas de Portugal.

The Laboratory of Instrumentation and Experimental Particle Physics (LIP) (LIP - Laboratório de Instrumentação e Física Experimental de Partículas) is a state-run Portuguese research laboratory created in 1986 under the sponsorship of the National Foundation for Science (FCT) of the Portuguese Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education. LIP has three main centers of activity, one in Lisbon, one in Coimbra and one in Braga. The majority of the research activities are done through international collaborations with institutions like CERN. The laboratory has about 180 members, among which are professors and scientists affiliated with the University of Coimbra, the Lisbon University, the Technical University of Lisbon, the New University of Lisbon, the University of the Minho and the University of Beira Interior. LIP is involved in scientific research on issues related to high energy physics and instrumentation, working heavily with CERN, of which Portugal is a full member. LIP has also been involved in space science projects with NASA, the Pierre Auger Observatory, the SNOLAB, and the European Space Agency, and conducts research in Monte Carlo methods for medical physics. The laboratory is also involved in the Ibercivis distributed computing project.

Campo Grande was a Portuguese parish (freguesia) in the municipality of Lisbon. At the administrative reorganization of Lisbon on 8 December 2012 it became part of the parish Alvalade.

Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias (Lusophone University of Humanities and Technologies) is the largest Portuguese private university, and the main institution of Grupo Lusófona, which administers other universities and colleges in Portugal, Brazil, Cape Verde, Angola, Guinea-Bissau and Mozambique. Indeed, promotion of Lusophony (the speaking of Portuguese) is seen as a major objective of the institution; students from former Portuguese African colonies pay substantially reduced fees.
