Old Town Hall, Altrincham

Altrincham and Sale West ( ) is a constituency in Greater Manchester. Since its creation in 1997 it has been represented by Sir Graham Brady, a member of the Conservative Party.

St George's Church is in the town of Altrincham, Greater Manchester, England. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building. It is an active Anglican parish church in the diocese of Chester, the archdeaconry of Macclesfield and the deanery of Bowdon.

Altrincham Town Hall is a municipal building in Market Street, Altrincham, Greater Manchester, England. The town hall was the headquarters of Altrincham Borough Council.

Altrincham railway station served the town of Altrincham (historically in Cheshire), now Greater Manchester, England between 1849 and 1881. The station was built by the Manchester, South Junction and Altrincham Railway (MSJ&AR) and opened on 20 July 1849.This first Altrincham station was located just south of Stockport Road level crossing and its junction with Stamford Street. The station consisted of two platforms and a station building. It served the locality until 3 April 1881 when both it and Bowdon railway station were closed, being replaced by the new large facility named Altrincham and Bowdon (now Altrincham railway station), situated between the two former stations. There are no remains of this station today.

Altrincham Interchange is a transport hub in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, England. It consists of a bus station on Stamford New Road, a Northern Trains-operated heavy rail station on the Mid-Cheshire Line, and a light rail stop which forms the terminus of Manchester Metrolink's Altrincham line. The original heavy rail element of the station was opened by the Manchester, South Junction and Altrincham Railway as Altrincham and Bowdon railway station in April 1881, changing to Altrincham railway station in May 1974. The Metrolink element opened in June 1992. The Interchange underwent a complete redevelopment, at a cost of £19 million, starting in mid-July 2013. The new bus station opened officially on 7 December 2014.

Goose Green is a small pedestrianised town square in Altrincham, Trafford, Greater Manchester, England containing shops and restaurants.One of the 21 conservation areas in Trafford, Goose Green, which started its existence as an area with residential cottages for local workers in the late 1700s, hosts an annual summer festival taking place always over the August bank holiday weekend.

Altrincham Hospital is a modern community hospital on Railway Street in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, England. It is managed by the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.

Bowdon railway station served the district of Bowdon, Cheshire (now Greater Manchester), between 1849 and 1881. The station was built by the Manchester, South Junction and Altrincham Railway (MSJ&AR), and opened on 22 September 1849, the same day that a short southerly extension to the MSJ&AR line to reach Bowdon was completed from the original Altrincham station of 20 July 1849.Bowdon station was located on Lloyd Street/Railway Street in Altrincham, near to the boundary with Bowdon. A service of steam-hauled trains ran via Sale station to Manchester Oxford Road. The station served the locality until 3 April 1881, when both it and the first Altrincham station were closed, replaced by the new large facility named Altrincham and Bowdon, situated between the two former stations. From 1931 the former Bowdon station site became the repair shop and depot for the electric trains of the newly electrified MSJ&AR. The depot closed in 1971, and the site was used for the next 30 years as a car park. The site was redeveloped in the early 21st century.

Altrincham Ice Dome is an ice rink in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, England. It has 2,140 seats according to the rink website, and up to 300 standing places. It is currently operated by Planet Ice. The Ice Dome hosts the home matches of the Manchester Storm, Altrincham Aces ice hockey clubs, the university ice hockey team Manchester Metros, as well as junior ice hockey (Manchester Storm Junior Academy), public skating sessions, birthday parties, private events, and skating lessons. It was previously the home of the Manchester Phoenix until a legal dispute arose in 2014-2015 between the management of the Altrincham Ice Dome and the Phoenix team over alleged financial impropriety regarding junior teams at the venue.The rink replaced the original Altrincham Ice Rink, which had closed in 2003. The Dome itself was originally meant to be replaced by a more permanent 3,000 seat facility as part of the Altair development, but changes to the plans have seen the current rink retained, with alterations to be made, including the addition of a 10 pin bowling facility

North Cestrian School, formerly North Cestrian Grammar School, is a free school in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, England, for pupils aged between 11 and 16. North Cestrian is part of the Hamblin Educational Trust.

Loreto Grammar School is located in Trafford, England. Pupils must sit an entrance exam to enter, and fulfil several other entry criteria. It is part of the worldwide Loreto community, and the Altrincham school was founded by the Sisters of Loreto in 1909. It has also assumed the status of an academy (30 August 2012) and is a specialist school for maths and science.The school's values are justice, truth, sincerity, freedom, joy, and more recently excellence and internationality.At the school there are 1050 students and 100 staff members. Loreto is also part of a bigger, worldwide community which was founded by Mary Ward and this consists of over 120 schools and 70,000 students.The 266 students of the school's sixth form are expected to support the ethos and values of the school and show the ability to follow an academic AS/A2 level course or the International Baccalaureate course. The school was described in its 2005 Ofsted report as "outstanding with an outstanding sixth form". In its next report in 2008 Ofsted remarked "This is an outstandingly effective school. It has improved substantially since the last inspection and has demonstrated excellent capacity to develop further".
