The Baldomero Aguinaldo Shrine is a single-detached house built by Baldomero Aguinaldo, cousin of Emilio Aguinaldo during the American colonial period in 1906 at Binakayan, Kawit, Cavite. Baldomero held several positions at the revolutionary government during the early 1900s. He became the head of the Kawit Chapter of the Katipunan, President of the KKK Magdalo Council, and Secretary of the Treasury in the 1897 Biak-na-Bato Republic. Also, he became the Secretary of War and Public Works after the establishment of the First Philippine Republic by Emilio Aguinaldo.

The Emilio Aguinaldo Shrine or the Cavite El Viejo Shrine is a national shrine located in Kawit, Cavite in the Philippines, where the Philippine Declaration of Independence from Spain was declared on June 12, 1898 or Independence Day, To commemorate the event, now known as Araw ng Kalayaan or Independence Day, a national holiday, the Philippine flag is raised here by top government officials on June 12 each year. The house is now a museum.

St. Mary Magdalene Church of Kawit, also known as Kawit Church is the parish church of the municipality of Kawit, Cavite in the Philippines. The Roman Catholic church is one of the oldest churches in the Philippines, construction of the present church was started in 1737. The church, named after Jesus' disciple Mary Magdalene, was last restored in 1990 by the citizens of Kawit. Emilio Aguinaldo, the president of the First Philippine Republic was baptized in this church, his birth certificate is kept on the left side of the altar. The church is known for healing and resolution to personal problems. The current parish priest of the church is Rev. Fr. Efren Bugayong, JCD.

The Diocesan Shrine and Parish of the Our Lady of the Pillar - Imus Cathedral, commonly known as the Imus Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic cathedral church in the city of Imus, in the province of Cavite, Philippines. The city, which is the capital of the province, also serves as the seat of the bishop of the Diocese of Imus, the diocese that has jurisdiction over the entire Civil Province of Cavite. Enshrined inside the cathedral is the original, miraculous and canonically crowned image of Nuestra Senora del Pilar de Imus (Our Lady of the Pillar). The said title of the Blessed Virgin Mary serves as the titular patroness of the Diocese of Imus, Province of Cavite, as implied by then pope, now a saint, John XXIII. John the Baptist is also considered the secondary patron saint of the city. The current parish priest and rector of the cathedral is Reuel Castañeda, vicar general of the diocese. The church itself features the longest Holy Week procession in the province of Cavite, with at least 70 floats and the country's 5th longest overall (the other four being the St Augustine Parish, Baliuag, and San Isidro Labrador, Pulilan, both located in the province of Bulacan, with at least 110 floats per parish, The Our Lady Of the Abandoned in Marikina, with 82 floats, and The Our Lady of Aranzazu San Mateo, Rizal with 76 floats). Currently, the cathedral is being elevated into Cathedral Shrine.

The Diocese of Imus (Latin: Dioecesis Imusensis; Tagalog: Diyosesis ng Imus; Spanish and Chavacano: Diócesis de Imus) is a Roman Catholic diocese in the Philippines that comprises the entire province of Cavite. The diocese was canonically erected on November 25, 1961, when it was excised from the Archdiocese of Manila. Imus Cathedral, located along General Castañeda Street in the poblacion of Imus, serves as the see of the diocese. It is one of twelve cathedrals founded by the Order of Augustinian Recollects in the Philippines. The diocese is home to around 2,510,000 Roman Catholics spread across four episcopal districts, 13 vicariates, 94 parishes, a national shrine (Our Lady of La Salette), and seven were declared as diocesan shrines. There are 184 priests in the diocese, 95 of which are diocesan and 89 are religious. In 2011, the Diocese of Imus celebrated the Golden Jubilee of its establishment. Activities were held within the diocese to mark the momentous event. Prior to the occasion, the celebration of the 5th Asian Youth Day in 2009 was also held in the diocese. The diocese is under the patronage of the Virgin Mary under the title Our Lady of the Pillar, whose feast day is celebrated on October 12. The image of Our Lady was canonically crowned by Cardinal Luis Antonio G. Tagle, then Archbishop of Manila and homegrown Bishop of Imus, in a solemn ceremony held in 2012.

Imus, officially the City of Imus (Filipino: Lungsod ng Imus), is a 3rd class component city and de jure capital of the province of Cavite, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 496,794 people.It is the de jure capital of the province of Cavite, located 20 kilometers (12 mi) south of Metro Manila, when President Ferdinand Marcos decreed the transfer of the seat of the provincial government from Trece Martires on June 11, 1977. However, most offices of the provincial government are still located in Trece Martires. Imus was officially converted into a city following a referendum on June 30, 2012.Imus was the site of two major Katipunero victories during the Philippine Revolution against Spain. The Battle of Imus was fought on September 3, 1896, and the Battle of Alapan, on May 28, 1898, the day when the first Philippine flag was flown making Imus the "Flag Capital of the Philippines". Both events are celebrated annually in the city. The Imus Historical Museum honors the city's history with historical reenactment of scenes from the revolution.
