Praha-Eden railway station

Stadion Eden, officially named Stadion Dr. Václava Vacka, was a multi-use stadium in Prague, Czech Republic. It was initially used as the stadium of Slavia Prague matches. It was replaced by the current Eden Arena in 2008. The original capacity of the stadium was 38,000 spectators, mostly standing terraces.

Sinobo Stadium (formerly known as Eden Aréna and Synot Tip Arena) is a football stadium, in Prague-Vršovice, Czech Republic. The stadium has a capacity of 20.800 people and it is the biggest and the most modern football stadium in the Czech Republic. It is the home venue of SK Slavia Prague and occasionally the Czech Republic national football team. In the 2010–11 and 2011–12 seasons, it was also the venue of Bohemians 1905 home matches. During the 2011–12 season the stadium hosted home matches for FC Viktoria Plzeň in the Champions League group stage. The stadium was used for the 2013 UEFA Super Cup.

Vlasta Neighborhood (in Czech: Sídliště Vlasta) is a set of buildings in Prague 10-Vršovice, Czech Republic. It was constructed across from the Koh-i-noor factory between 1972 and 1977. There are residential buildings and the seat of the Municipality of Prague 10. The buildings were established as a quick fix solution following the Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1968 for residents of the evacuated city of Milovice.

The 2011 World Indoor Lacrosse Championship was the third World Indoor Lacrosse Championship, an international box lacrosse tournament organized by the Federation of International Lacrosse every four years. It took place between 21 and 28 May 2011 in Prague, Czech Republic at the 4,900 seat Eden Arena, an Olympic-sized rink. The Canadian team was the defending champion and for the third time defeated the Iroquois Nationals in the finals, 13–6. The United States defeated the host Czech Republic 16–7 in the bronze medal game.

The State Institute for Drug Control (Czech: Státní ústav pro kontrolu léčiv) is a Czech government agency responsible for regulation of the safe production of pharmaceuticals in the country, clinical evaluation of medicines and for monitoring the advertising and marketing of both medicines and medical devices. Its powers stem from the Act on Public Health Insurance (Act No. 48/1997 Coll.). Only part of its operating costs are directly funded. It is largely self-financing through charges for its services.The SÚKL sets maximum ex-factory prices for reimbursement based on 195 reference groups of therapeutically interchangeable products of similar clinical efficacy. More than 20% of the health budget is spent on medication and medical devices. From January 2019 it took responsibility for regulating the reimbursement of consumer medical devices prescribed as part of outpatient care.It allocates codes and names of medications for use in the electronic prescribing system.It has been criticised by KOPAC, the Patient Association for Cannabis Treatment, for failing to ensure a supply of Czech medical cannabis so that patients have to pay inflated prices for imported supplies.

Želivského (Czech pronunciation: [ˈʒɛlɪfskɛːɦo]) is a station on Line A of the Prague Metro. The station is located under Vinohradská street next to the Olšany Cemetery. It is named after the Jana Želivského street, which is itself named after Jan Želivský. The station was opened on 19 December 1980 as the eastern terminus of the extension of the line from Náměstí Míru. On 11 July 1987 the line was extended to Strašnická.

The Church of Saint Wenceslas (Czech: Kostel sv. Václava) is a Roman Catholic church in Vršovice in Prague 10, Czech Republic. The church was built in 1930 as a commemoration of the 1,000th anniversary of the death of St. Wenceslas.

The Hus' House or Husův sbor is a Hussite church in the Vršovice area of Prague. This building was one of the first buildings in Prague built from pre-stressed concrete and brick panels. It was built in less than a year and includes a "lighthouse" tower topped with symbol of Hussite church, a chalice and a cross.

Vinohrady tram depot (Czech: Vozovna Královské Vinohrady) is a former tram and trolleybus depot at Vinohrady that was part of the Prague tram network from 1897. The last Prague trolley bus left from here in 1972.

Vinohrady Cemetery (Czech: Vinohradský hřbitov) is a cemetery in Prague, Czech Republic. It was founded in 1885 as a cemetery of the city of Královské Vinohrady, which became a part of Prague in 1922 and today is known as the Vinohrady district. It contains the Strašnice Crematorium. Among the most notable people buried at the cemetery are two of the presidents of Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic, Václav Havel and Emil Hácha.

Radio Farda (Persian: راديو فردا, lit. 'Radio Tomorrow', Radio Farda) is the Iranian branch of the U.S. government-funded Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) external broadcast service for providing "factual, objective and professional journalism" to its audiences. It broadcasts 24 hours a day in the Persian language from its headquarters in the district Hagibor of Prague, Czech Republic.Radio Farda first aired December 2002. Radio Farda broadcasts news on topics like political, cultural, social, and art with an emphasis on Iran. The name "Farda" means "tomorrow" in Persian. Radio Farda's broadcasts have been continually blocked by Iranian authorities over the history of its programming.Launched in December 2002 as the successor to RFE/RL's Persian Service with the goal of providing "objective and accurate news and information to counter state censorship and ideology-based media coverage". Radio Farda's new website was launched in 2006 and receives over 3 million page views every month.
