Denbigh Friary (also known as Henllan Friary) (Welsh: Brodordy Dinbych) is a ruined monastic religious house located in Clwyd, Wales. It is situated in the valley of the River Clwyd, approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) east of Denbigh. Founded in 1343-50 (or before 1289), the friary was dedicated to St Mary, and was a Carmelite community. The English Benedictine abbot, Robert Parfew was involved in the 18 August 1538 surrender of the Carmelites of Denbigh Friary. During the Dissolution, some of the buildings were turned into houses, while wool was sold in the church. The 14th-century building has been in ruins since an 1898 fire. The ruins are mostly from the 13th and 15th centuries, and include parts of a choir, a gable end, and nave walls.

Denbigh Town Football Club, founded in 1880, is a semi-professional football club based in Denbigh, North Wales. They play in the Cymru North, which is in the second tier of the Welsh football league system. The club plays home matches at Central Park.

Denbigh High School (Welsh: Ysgol Uwchradd Dinbych) is an English medium secondary school based in Denbigh, North Wales. Pupils who attend are between the ages of 11 and 18.

Denbigh railway station served the town of Denbigh in Wales. It closed in 1962. The only remains of the station are sections of platform edge.The Vale of Clwyd Railway had used a temporary stop at Denbigh from 1858 until their station buildings, which also housed their headquarters, were constructed. The station was designed, along with several other stations on the line, by the local firm of Lloyd Williams and Underwood. It opened in December 1860 and was for some time the terminus of the railway, until the line extension to Ruthin opened in 1862.The Tudor Gothic-style station building, which incorporated accommodation on the first-floor for the station master, primarily used limestone, with detailing such as around the doors, windows and chimneys being of freestone. The booking and left luggage offices were placed centrally, and there were three waiting rooms - a general room, one for ladies travelling first-class and another for those ladies travelling second-class. There was an initially single platform, partly sheltered by a roof supported by cast iron columns. That platform was extended in 1885 and altered also to allow trains to stop regardless of their direction of travel.

The Pierce Memorial Garden is an urban park in the town of Denbigh, in Denbighshire, Wales. It was constructed between 1874 and 1887 and commemorates Evan Pierce who donated the land. Pierce, a doctor, sat on Denbigh Town Council for 50 years and served five terms of office as mayor. The garden is registered Grade II on the Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in Wales. The statue depicting Pierce is listed at Grade II*. The park is managed by Denbighshire County Council.

Howell's School Denbigh (Welsh: Ysgol Howell Dinbych) was a private girls only school located in Denbigh, Denbighshire. A new co-educational independent school, Myddelton College, opened on the site in 2016.The school taught girls from the age of 3 up to 18 and contained a pre-preparatory, preparatory, senior and sixth form. It was established in 1859 with funding from Thomas Howell's trustees who later established Howell's School Llandaff in 1860. The school had many facilities including a sports hall, 120 acres of grounds and an equestrian centre. In the 2011 Daily Telegraph Independent League Table of GCSE results, Howell's School came 298th in the UK with 22.03% A* Grade and 45.79% A* or A grade.Following some years of decline in numbers and a series of tribunals involving staff wrongfully dismissed amid allegations of poor management, the school announced on 2 August 2013 that it would not be reopening for the following academic year, citing financial difficulties as the primary reason, although this is disputed. The school went into liquidation on 22 August 2013 following a meeting with creditors.

Myddelton College is located at Denbigh in Wales on the site of Howell's School, Denbigh, a former girls' school founded in 1859. It was reopened in 2016 as an independent co-educational day and boarding school.

Denbigh ( DEN-bee; Welsh: Dinbych [ˈdɪnbɨχ]) is a market town and a community in Denbighshire, Wales. Formerly the county town of the historic county of Denbighshire until 1888, Denbigh's Welsh name (Dinbych) translates to "Little Fortress"; a reference to its historic castle. Denbigh lies near the Clwydian Hills.

Leicester's Church, originally known as St David's Church, Denbigh, is a large ruined church near to the hill top castle at Denbigh, North Wales. It was built for Robert Dudley, 1st Earl of Leicester, from 1578, but financial difficulties meant work stopped in 1584. When the Earl died unexpectedly in 1588 the project was abandoned. It had been the only large church-building project in Elizabethan England or Wales. On Robert Dudley's death with no heir, his estates reverted to the Crown, as a roofless enclosed space. It is now a Grade I listed building and Scheduled Ancient Monument, cared for by Cadw, the Welsh historic environment service.

Denbigh Town Hall (Welsh: Neuadd y Dref Denbigh), is a municipal building in Crown Lane, Denbigh, Denbighshire, Wales. The structure, which is the meeting place of Denbigh Town Council, is a Grade II* listed building.

St Hilary's Chapel (also St Hilary's Church) is a former church in Denbigh, Denbighshire, north Wales, of which only the tower remains. The town's garrison church, it lay to the north Denbigh Castle. It dates to c. 1290, when the borough town was built by Henry de Lacy, Earl of Lincoln; the earliest mention of it is in 1334. In the 1530s the antiquary John Leland described it as a "goodlye and large chappelle in the old towne... whither most of the new towne do yett cumme". On 28 September 1645, during the English Civil War, a service at the church was attended by Charles I, the Archbishop of York, Lord Keeper Williams and numerous other important officials.The limestone rubble church with red and brown and green sandstone dressings was abandoned in 1874 when a church was erected at St Mary's Church, Lenten Pool. In 1923 the church was largely demolished, leaving just the tower of roughly 14 metres (46 ft). The tower became a Grade I listed building on 24 October 1950.

The Burgess gate in Denbigh was built as part of the outer defences of Denbigh castle between 1282 and 1294. The gate is a Grade I listed building. Located at the northern section of the medieval town walls of Denbigh, The gate was one of the two principal entrances into the walled town, the other being the exchequer gate to the south, which no longer survives.In 1646 the gate was the scene of a major conflict during the siege of Denbigh by Parliamentarian forces during the English civil war. The gate shows signs of considerable damage that was likely incurred the civil war.
