Old Town Railway Cutting (grid reference SU153832) is a 1.78 hectare geological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Swindon, Wiltshire, notified in 1975. It is near the site of the former Swindon Town railway station. The site is notable for an unusual exposure of the Kimmeridge Clay formation.

Apsley House is a 19th-century house in Swindon, England, standing on the north side of Bath Road in what is now known as the Old Town.It was built c.1830–1840 and faced in ashlar Bath stone. The house has two storeys at the front and three at the rear; a modernist extension was added to the right in the late 20th century. The house was for a long time the home and business headquarters of the Toomer family, who ran a local coke and coal business. From 1930 until 2021 it housed the Swindon Museum and Art Gallery but the museum vacated the building and the house was put on sale when its owners, Swindon Borough Council, decided it was no longer suitable and required major repairs.Apsley House was designated as Grade II listed in 1951.

Christ Church is a grade II* listed church in Cricklade Street, Swindon, Wiltshire, England. It was built in 1851 to a design by George Gilbert Scott. The church is one of two major buildings in Old Town, the other being the old town hall, only a few minutes walk away. Christ church is also a part of a parish, the other church to this parish is St Mary's, a small church near Commonweal School. The interior of the building was remodeled in 2017 to provide better access, a gas heating system and LED lighting. The nave pews were retained and secured with an innovative fixing system allowing them to be removed on occasion to provide more space for large events. The church grounds also house a modern Community Centre which hosts a wide variety of events and activities.
