The Allentown Parking Authority is responsible for both off and on-street parking within the City of Allentown, Pennsylvania.The Allentown Parking Authority owns and manages five parking garages in Center City Allentown and leases 29 surface lots plus one parking ramp which make up a total of over 4,020 parking spaces. The Allentown Parking Authority is responsible for the enforcement of both City and State parking regulations, by way of parking tickets, towing, wheel booting, and impounding vehicles. The Allentown Parking Authority currently regulates over 1,500 parking meters in the city.

The Diocese of Allentown (Latin: Diœcesis Alanpolitana) is a Latin Church ecclesiastical jurisdiction, or diocese, of the Catholic Church in the Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania in the United States. It is a suffragan diocese in the ecclesiastical province of the metropolitan Archdiocese of Philadelphia. The mother church of the Diocese of Allentown is the Cathedral Church of Saint Catharine of Siena Allentown. As of 2023, the bishop of Allentown is Alfred A. Schlert. The Diocese of Allentown covers Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Northampton and Schuylkill counties. It has a Catholic population of 258,997 as of 2015, approximately 20.4% of the total population. The diocese maintains 80 parishes, 30 Catholic elementary schools, and seven Catholic high schools.

The PPL Building, formerly the Pennsylvania Power and Light Building, is a 24-story office building in Allentown, Pennsylvania. At 98.02 m (321.6 ft) in height, it is the tallest building in the city and the surrounding Lehigh Valley metropolitan area. The building is the headquarters for PPL Corporation, the main electricity provider for the Lehigh Valley, Northeastern Pennsylvania, and other regions of Pennsylvania and the United States. The PPL Building is often uniquely illuminated at night, especially during the Christmas season, with a candle on one face of the building, and a Christmas tree on the other.

WHOL (1600 AM) is a rhythmic contemporary radio station in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The station is owned by licensee Major Keystone LLC, and airs a rhythmic contemporary radio format. It is simulcast with co-owned AM 1400 WEST in Easton, Pennsylvania. The studios and transmitter are on Colorado Street in Allentown.WHOL is powered at 1,000 watts by day. But to protect other stations on 1600 AM, it reduces power to 56 watts at night. It uses a directional antenna at all times. Programming is also heard on 99 watt FM translator W295CR at 106.9 MHz.

The Allentown Masonic Temple is an historic Masonic building located in the city of Allentown in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

Hamilton Street is a major thoroughfare and historic street in the Center City section of Allentown, Pennsylvania. The street dates back to 1762, when Allentown's founder, William Allen, included it as one of the first of several streets to be constructed in the city.The street is named for James Hamilton, who served as the mayor of Philadelphia from 1745 to 1746, and two terms as deputy governor of the colonial-era Province of Pennsylvania, from 1759 to 1763, and 1748 to 1754.

The Dime Savings and Trust Company, also known as the First Valley Bank, is an historic bank building located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1925, and is a T-shaped, five-story red brick building. The base is sheathed in limestone, and the distinctive brick and limestone attic level is reflective of the Art Deco style.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

The PPL Center is an 8,500 seat capacity indoor sports arena in Allentown, Pennsylvania. It opened on September 10, 2014. It is the home arena for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the American Hockey League, the primary development hockey team for the Philadelphia Flyers. The arena also hosts major concerts, sports, and entertainment events throughout the year.

The Albertus L. Meyers Bridge, also known as the Eighth Street Bridge, the South Eighth Street Viaduct, and unsigned as SR 2055, is a reinforced concrete open-spandrel arch bridge located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The bridge is "one of the earliest surviving examples of monumental, reinforced concrete construction," according to the American Society of Civil Engineers.Upon its opening on November 17, 1913, the bridge, then known as the Eighth Street Bridge, was the longest and highest concrete bridge in the world.The bridge spans the Little Lehigh Creek, linking Center City Allentown with Allentown's South Side. The bridge has seventeen spans and is longer than the more massive Tunkhannock Viaduct of the same type. In 1974, the bridge was renamed in honor Albertus L. Meyers, who served as bandmaster of the Allentown Band for 50 years, from 1926 to 1976.

The Hotel Allen was a hotel in Allentown, Pennsylvania. It was demolished in 1956.

The Allentown National Bank, originally named the Allentown Bank, is an historic bank building located on Centre Square in Allentown, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. Built in 1905, the building is a large eight-story, steel frame and masonry-clad structure in the Beaux-Arts style. Abandoned during the 1990s, it was re-developed into apartments for independent living senior citizens in the early 2000s. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.
