The Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Holy Fountain (Spanish: Santuario de Nuestra Señora de la Fuensanta) is a Baroque-style, Roman Catholic church in the pedanía of Algezares, part of the city of Murcia, in the region of Murcia, Spain. The sanctuary houses the image of Our Lady of Fuensanta, the patron saint of Murcia and its surrounding huerta (fertile plain). The image is a central part in religious processions to Murcia Cathedral in Lent and September.

Los Garres Castle (Spanish: Castillo de Los Garres) is a late Roman fortress dating from between the 4th and 7th centuries AD. It is located on the northern slopes of the Cresta del Gallo mountain range, in the area known as Quijal de La Vega, within the Murcian pedanía of Los Garres in Spain.

Llano de Brujas is a district in Murcia, Spain. It is part of the municipality of Murcia and it is located in the northeastern quarter. This district has an area of 7.3 km2 and was inhabited by 5,830 people in 2020.There is a documentary reference about a hamlet in the district which dates back to 1736.The territory hosts two localities: Huerta de Llano de Bruja, which has a population of 2,572 in 2020, and El Salar, where 3,258 people lived in the same year.

On 1 October 2023, a fire broke out in a building hosting at least three nightclubs in Murcia, Spain, killing at least 13 people and injuring 24. It was the deadliest nightclub fire in Spain since 1990.

La Condomina is a multi-use stadium in Murcia, Spain. The stadium holds 16,500 spectators (6,500 seated) and it is currently used mostly for football matches and music concerts.

The Plaza de Toros de Murcia (also known as the Plaza de Toros de La Condomina) is a bullring in Murcia, Spain. As of June 2015, it is used for bull fighting. The stadium holds 15,000 people. It was built in 1887.

El Puento Nuevo (Spanish for New Bridge) or Puente de Hierro (Spanish for Iron Bridge) is a parabolic metallic bridge spanning the Segura River, completed in 1903 and located in the city of Murcia (Region of Murcia, Spain). As the second bridge built in the city across the river, was called New Bridge to distinguish it from the old bridge (Puente Viejo o Puente de los Peligros), even though today it is the second oldest of the city.

The Qasaba of Murcia was the military headquarters of the Emirate of Murcia. After the conquest by Castille it became a church and later part of a Templar hospital, and is now the San Juan de Dios museum. Traditional historiography (later confirmed through archaeological excavations) already suggested the existence in Al-Andalus of a vast palatial-military complex or citadel (qasaba) in this area of the city. Within its walls stood both the palace or official residence for the monarch or governor (qasr) and a small oratory, baths, and a rawda or pantheon, as well as other buildings linked to the court. The Emirate of Murcia became a protectorate of the Crown of Castile under the Treaty of Alcaraz in 1243. As a result, Prince Alfonso (future Alfonso X) entered the city on May 1 of that year, taking possession of the Alcázar Mayor. Meanwhile, the Muslim royal family members, who were still nominally "kings of Murcia," relocated with a growing proportion of the Muslim population to the Al Qasr al-Sagir (Alcázar Menor) in the Arrixaca suburb. This complex was later granted by James I of Aragon to the primary adelantado of Murcia, Alfonso García de Villamayor, after the Aragonese king suppressed the Mudejar revolt of 1264-1266. This marked the end of the protectorate and the application of the right of conquest over the city. A church was established here some time after 1243.

The Museum of the Church of San Juan de Dios in Murcia, Region of Murcia, Spain, is one of the locations of the Museum of Fine Arts of Murcia (MUBAM). It houses an important collection of religious imagery from the 15th to the 20th century. The 18th century former church is in a traditional square near the Cathedral in the historic center of Murcia. The church was part of the former Templar San Juan de Dios Hospital, which had previously been the fortress and palace of the Muslim ruler.

The Cathedral Church of Saint Mary in Murcia (Spanish: Iglesia Catedral de Santa María en Murcia), commonly called the Cathedral of Murcia, is a Catholic church in the city of Murcia, Spain. It is the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cartagena.
