Burford was a Rural district in Shropshire in England from 1894 to 1934. It was formed under the Local Government Act 1894 that part of the Tenbury rural sanitary district which was in Shropshire (the bulk forming Tenbury Rural District in Worcestershire). It consisted of the parishes of Boraston, Burford, Greete, Nash and Whitton. It was abolished in 1934 by a county review order made under the Local Government Act 1929, with its area being transferred to the Ludlow Rural District.

Tenbury High Ormiston Academy (formerly Tenbury High School) is a coeducational secondary school with academy status located in Tenbury Wells in the English county of Worcestershire. In 2005 it was awarded specialist science and mathematics status. Previously a community school administered by Worcestershire County Council, Tenbury High School converted to academy status on 1 September 2014 and was renamed Tenbury High Ormiston Academy. The school is now sponsored by the Ormiston Academies Trust but continues to coordinate with Worcestershire County Council for admissions.

Tenbury Wells railway station was a station in Burford, Shropshire, England. Serving the town of Tenbury Wells across the River Teme in Worcestershire, the station was opened in 1861 and closed in 1962.The station was named "Tenbury" at opening on 1 August 1861. It originally formed the eastern terminus of the Tenbury Railway, a five-mile branch from Woofferton, but became a through station in August 1864 with the opening of the Tenbury and Bewdley Railway which completed the line to Bewdley. The station was renamed "Tenbury Wells" on 14 November 1912. The former Tenbury Railway closed on 31 July 1961, but Tenbury Wells Station remained in use for passenger traffic to Bewdley until 1 August 1962.Tenbury Station was demolished and factory units built on its site, Wells drinks occupied the site before being sold to Kerry Foods.

Its benefice is united with those of eleven other parishes to form the Tenbury Team Ministry. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building.

Burford House is an 18th-century country house in Burford, Shropshire, near Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire, England. It now functions as a garden centre, cafe, garden and retail outlet. Built in 1728, it is a Grade II* listed building, built of red brick to a double-pile plan with a six-window three-storey frontage. It stands in 3 hectares (7.5 acres) of ornamental gardens.
