Piscinola

Scampia (Italian: [skamˈpiːa], Neapolitan: [ʃkamˈbiːə]) is a modern suburb in the far north of Naples, whose population is about 80,000. To its south are the suburbs of Piscinola-Marianella, Miano and Secondigliano. It was built during the second half of the twentieth century.

The Eighth Municipality (In Italian: Ottava Municipalità or Municipalità 8) is one of the ten boroughs in which the Italian city of Naples is divided.

Piscinola-Scampia (formerly Piscinola) is a station on Line 1 of the Naples Metro and together with Garibaldi is one of the two termini.The station, inaugurated on 19 July 1995 together with the extension from the Colli Aminei station, consists of two levels: in the upper one stands the terminal station of line 1, while in the lower one is the terminal station of the Linea Arcobaleno (Piscinola Scampia station of the Naples-Aversa line) which between 2005 and 2009 partially restored the lower Alifana closed in 1976.It has been decided that this station will not be a fixed terminus, as the line will continue towards the Capodichino airport, the business center until reaching Piazza Garibaldi. The station will therefore be located between the Miano and Chiaiano stops.Since 2013 the station has hosted some works by the Neapolitan artist Felice Pignataro, following a petition signed by the citizens.Since 2017 the full name of the station has been changed to "Piscinola-Scampia", replacing the original name of "Piscinola-Secondigliano".

San Giovanni Barra is an underground metro station on line 2 of the Naples Metro. It opened in June 2010.

Chiaiano is a station on line 1 of the Naples Metro. It was opened on 19 July 1995 as part of the section between Colli Aminei and Piscinola. The station is located between Frullone and Piscinola.

Frullone is a station on line 1 of the Naples Metro public transport service, Naples, Italy. It was opened on 19 July 1995 as part of the section between Colli Aminei and Piscinola. The station is located between Colli Aminei and Chiaiano.

Miano is an metro station under construction that will serve Line 1 on the Naples Metro. Miano station, along with the Regina Margherita station and Secondigliano station, will serve the Secondigliano and Miano areas.

Regina Margherita is a metro station under construction that will serve Line 1 on the Naples Metro. Regina Margherita station, designed by Antonio Nanu, along with the Miano and Secondigliano stations, will serve the Secondigliano and Miano areas.

Chiaiano is a north-western quarter of Naples, with a population of about 23,000.

Colli Aminei is a station on line 1 of the Naples Metro. It was opened on 28 May 1993 as the northern terminus of the inaugural section of Naples Metro, between Vanvitelli and Colli Aminei. On 19 July 1995, the line was extended to Piscinola, and Colli Aminei ceased to be the terminus. The station is located between Policlinico and Frullone.
