It aims to document and illustrate the religious, organisational, social, economic, political, cultural and family life of Jews in Scotland from the 18th century to the present-day in order to heighten awareness - and to stimulate study of - the country's Jewish heritage.SJAC has an independent approach to collecting and accepts donations in the form in which they are offered as long as there is a connection to Jewish history. Through its acquisition efforts and outreach work, SJAC is helping to preserve the materiality of the Scottish Jewish past and curating these historical traces for the present.SJAC collections have been used in family history projects relating to the Scottish Jewish community, such as 200 Years of Scottish Jewry, in collaboration with the Scottish Council of Jewish Communities, Glasgow Jewish Representative Council and the International Institute for Jewish Genealogy.

The Glasgow Dental Hospital and School is a dental teaching hospital, situated in the Garnethill area of the city centre of Glasgow, Scotland.

The Beresford is a former hotel situated at 460 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, Scotland. It opened in 1938 to provide accommodation for those attending the city's Empire Exhibition and was often described as Glasgow's first skyscraper, being the tallest building erected in Glasgow between the two world wars, at seven storeys high. It is one of the city's most notable examples of Art Deco/Streamline Moderne architecture, and is protected as a category B listed building.

The Tenement House is a historic house museum in Glasgow, owned and operated by the National Trust for Scotland. It is located at 145 Buccleuch Street, in the Garnethill area, near Charing Cross railway station and Cowcaddens subway station. The property is a flat in an 1892 tenement building, preserved in its condition from the early 20th century. The flat was owned by Agnes Toward from 1911 until 1965; after her death it and its contents were acquired by the Trust, which opened it to the public. The museum received 23,456 visitors in 2019.

St Andrew's West, formerly but more commonly known as Renfield St Stephen's, is a Church of Scotland parish church in Glasgow. It was designated a Category B listed building in 1970.

The Centre for Contemporary Arts (CCA) is an arts centre in Glasgow, Scotland. The year-round programme includes exhibitions, film, music, literature, festivals, spoken word, Gaelic and performances. The Centre commissions new work from artists it works with to present them.

The Garage (formerly known as The Mayfair) is a music venue and nightclub located at 490 Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow, Scotland. The club was founded by Donald C MacLeod MBE, a music impresario legend and veteran within Scotland's live music scene. It is Scotland's largest nightclub, opening its doors in 1994. The main hall was the first Locarno ballroom in the UK, although it has since been remodelled by the addition of an extension to the mezzanine level. The Garage prides itself as being a nightclub open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. It is made up of various rooms which play different genres of music which are all accessed under one roof. The Main Hall, the biggest room, plays chart and remixes, G2 plays RnB hits, Desperados bar plays cheesy and nostalgia while the final room The Attic plays indie and rock. There is also a shot and cocktail bar located at the back of Desperados bar, with a quieter and more intimate vibe. At the main entrance of the venue, you can see a yellow truck projecting out over the doors, making The Garage stand out on a street full of pubs and clubs. As a gig venue, it is primarily known as a stepping-stone for bands which are attempting to make their way to the top, which was very similar to the O2 ABC Glasgow, which unfortunately closed in 2018 due to a devasting fire. The Garage has hosted thousands of bands and artists over the years, including Prince, Biffy Clyro, One Direction, Kasabian and Marilyn Manson. They have also hosted events such as comedy nights and ICW wrestling matches. The Garage also has rooms available to be hired for public events.They can cater for over 300 people or provide smaller, exclusive rooms for private parties. The venue is proudly owned by Holdfast Entertainment LTD who also own Cathouse Rock Club, situated in Glasgow city centre. The Garage has won more than 15 Best Bar None awards, a national award scheme aimed at responsible management and operation of alcohol licensed premises.

Locarno Ballrooms were a series of large public ballrooms located in England and Scotland and were represented in most major British cities.

Anderston (Scots: Anderstoun, Scottish Gaelic: Baile Aindrea) is an area of Glasgow, Scotland. It is on the north bank of the River Clyde and forms the south western edge of the city centre. Established as a village of handloom weavers in the early 18th century, Anderston was an independent burgh of barony from 1824 until it was incorporated into the City of Glasgow in 1846. The district is served by Anderston railway station.

The A82 is a major road in Scotland that runs from Glasgow to Inverness via Fort William. It is one of the principal north-south routes in Scotland and is mostly a trunk road managed by Transport Scotland, who view it as an important link from the Central Belt to the Scottish Highlands and beyond. The road passes close to numerous landmarks, including Loch Lomond, Rannoch Moor, Glen Coe, the Ballachulish Bridge, Ben Nevis, the Commando Memorial, Loch Ness, and Urquhart Castle. The route is derived in several places from the military roads constructed through the Highlands by General George Wade and Major William Caulfeild in the 18th century, along with later roads constructed by Thomas Telford in the 19th. The modern route is based on that designed by Telford, but with a number of improvements primarily dating from the 1920s and 30s. These include a diversion across Rannoch Moor, and another around Loch Leven which was subsequently replaced by the Ballachulish Bridge. Several travel guides have praised individual parts of the road, such as the section from Tyndrum to Glencoe across Rannoch Moor, as providing memorable driving experiences. Tourists find the A82 a popular route because of its scenery, and it serves as a main artery for commercial and heavy goods traffic. Transport Scotland have publicly declared a commitment to improve congestion and safety along the road. Some sections are occasionally closed for maintenance, which has resulted in strong protest from the local community, and the road has been criticised for its poor accident record.
