St. John's Rehab, part of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, is solely dedicated to specialized rehabilitation. As the site of Canada's only dedicated organ transplant rehabilitation program and Ontario's only dedicated burn rehabilitation program, the hospital develops individually customized inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services.This 160-bed hospital in North York is fully affiliated with the University of Toronto and is a teaching site that receives students from many post-secondary institutions. Research is conducted in its specialty programs in partnership with other health care and provincial agencies.The hospital was accredited by Accreditation Canada in 2009.

Brebeuf College School (Brebeuf College, BCS, or Brebeuf) is a publicly funded Roman Catholic all-boys high school in Toronto, Ontario, Canada endorsed by the Jesuits of Canada. Founded by the Jesuits in 1963, it is part of the Toronto Catholic District School Board and associated with the Presentation Brothers since 1984. Brebeuf offers an Enriched program that allows students to study advanced material and to develop university-level skills, preparing them to take the AP exam and earn an Advanced Placement university credit while still in high school. The school began offering an application-based STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) program in 2020.The school operates on the semester system and has an enrolment of 958 students in the 2017-18 school year. The majority of students come from Willowdale and northern Scarborough; roughly 20% live in York Region and students travel from as far away as Newmarket, Mississauga, and Pickering to attend the college. Almost 20% of the teaching staff are alumni. The motto of the school is "Studio Gradum Faciant" (To win merit through study).

Bayview Glen Church is an evangelical church in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, in the Thornhill neighbourhood, at North East corner of Bayview and Steeles. It is part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada. The congregation began in 1941 and moved to its present building in March 1978.

Bayview Woods-Steeles is a neighbourhood located in the northern tip of the city of Toronto, Ontario, Canada in the district of North York. It is part of federal and provincial electoral district Don Valley North, and Toronto electoral ward 17: Don Valley North. In 2006, it had a population of 13,295. The area is divided by a series of ravines, and is often not considered a neighbourhood unto itself. Rather the sections are more often divided between the neighbouring areas of Hillcrest Village, Bayview Village, and Newtonbrook. The neighbourhood is bordered by Steeles Avenue East to the north, Leslie Street to the east, Bayview Avenue to the west, and Finch Avenue East to the south. Several branches of the Don River meet in the middle of this neighbourhood and there is no shortage of greenspace as a result, though much is not usable, since it consists mostly of ravines. This neighbourhood is also notable for varying greatly in elevation, with the section in Cummer Avenue between Bayview and Leslie being especially steep.

German Mills Creek is a river in the municipalities of Markham, Richmond Hill, Toronto and Vaughan in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada. It is part of the Great Lakes Basin and is a left tributary of the East Branch Don River. It originates in Vaughan (near Bathurst Street and the King–Vaughan Town Line), flows south through Richmond Hill and Markham, and empties into the East Branch Don River in the East Don Parklands in Toronto, south of Steeles Avenue between Bayview Avenue and Leslie Street. It is part of a number of streams, swamps and swales located near the Oak Ridges Moraine. The creek's approximate length is 10 kilometres (6 mi). It is named after the pioneer settlement German Mills, founded by William Berczy in 1796. The settlement disappeared after a few years, but the creek retained the name. The Richmond Hill portions of the river snake through residential development with a very narrow greenbelt on either side of the creek. The Markham sections run through a mix of residential, commercial and light industrial areas. Duncan Woods Creek is a small left tributary that flows northwest to German Mills Creek in Toronto, at the southeast corner of Steeles Avenue and Leslie Street.There are a few undeveloped portions along the creek, mostly as parks in Markham.

Beth Tikvah Synagogue (Hebrew: בית תקוה) is an egalitarian synagogue in the Willowdale neighbourhood of Toronto, with a membership of approximately 1100 families. Although the worship style is traditional-conservative, the synagogue formally disaffiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism in 2013.The synagogue was founded on April 14, 1964, as Shaarei Tikvah, after a synagogue in Amsterdam that had been razed by the Nazis. It became Beth Tikvah after a merger in 1966 with the Bayview Synagogue Association. Rabbi Avraham Feder served as the first rabbi of the synagogue from 1967 until 1981 when he moved to Israel and continued to serve as Rabbi Emeritus. Rabbi Feder died on Feb. 8, 2018.Srul Irving Glick, the famed composer and conductor, served as Beth Tikvah's composer-in-residence from 1969 to 2002.

Robbins Hebrew Academy (RHA), formerly known as United Synagogue Day School, is a private elementary (Nursery to Grade 5) and middle school (Grade 6 to Grade 8) Jewish day school in Toronto, Ontario. Founded in 1957 as the Foundation Day School at the Beth Tzedec Synagogue, it was renamed United Synagogue Day School in 1961. In 2010, after an endowment, the school changed its name to Robbins Hebrew Academy, as a condition to accepting the endowment, by Larry Robbins. It was the first Jewish Day School in Toronto to be CAIS (www.cais.ca) accredited.

Avondale Alternative Secondary School is a public alternative school in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It teaches grades 9 through 12. ASAS and its family schools, Avondale Elementary School and Avondale Alternative Elementary School, are part of the Toronto District School Board. Prior to 1998, the schools were part of the North York Board of Education. The school moved to 24 Silverview Drive in 2016.

Bayview Village is an neighbourhood in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is part of the federal Don Valley North riding and the provincial Don Valley North electoral district, and Toronto electoral Ward 17: Don Valley North. In 2006, it had a population of 15,370.The area is bordered on the north by Finch Avenue East, on the west by Bayview Avenue, on the east by Leslie Street, and on the south by Highway 401, and also including the grounds of North York General Hospital, east of Leslie in the neighbourhood's southeast corner, according to the City of Toronto's definition. The Bayview Village Association regards the east boundary as the Don River (east branch) and the south boundary as Sheppard Avenue East, thereby excluding land between the Don River and Leslie, Sheppard and Highway 401.

Finch Hotel was an inn located in current-day Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was opened in 1848 by John Finch on Lot # 2, Concession # 1, with a land size of 200 acres (81 ha). Before Finch's takeover, the inn was owned by Thomas Johnson from the late 1790s. Finch Avenue, a main arterial road in Toronto and the surrounding Peel Region and Durham Region, was named after John Finch.

Old Cummer GO Station is a train and bus station in the GO Transit network located in the North York district of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is a stop on the Richmond Hill line train service and offers service to Union Station in downtown Toronto.In September 2004 construction began on a rehabilitated station building, providing improved lighting and providing accessible features into the station building. As of June 2023, the station building is currently not staffed at any time and is closed to the public, but small pedestrian shelters are available. The current GO schedule only has trains stopping during certain periods. Monday to Friday, southbound trains are only available between 6:32 and 8:32, arriving every hour. Northbound trains are only available 16:18 and 19:18, again arriving every hour.
