Old Town Hall, Pwllheli

Pwllheli Town Hall (Welsh: Neuadd Dwyfor) is a municipal building in Penlan Street, Pwllheli, Gwynedd, Wales. The structure, which now operates as an arts centre, is a Grade II listed building.

Capel Salem is a Grade II listed former chapel in Pwllheli, Gwynedd, Wales. It was originally built in 1862 for the Presbyterian Church of Wales, to the designs of the architect Thomas Thomas of Landore. In 1893 it was remodelled and enlarged. A fire was started in 1913 by a local person who tried to steal money from the chapel; when he found none, he set fire to the building. It was then closed until 1915 after restoration. In September 2022, the chapel and its adjoining Sunday school annex, which had been on the market for 12 years, were purchased by the potter Keith Brymer Jones and his wife, Marjory Hogarth. Jones stated that they planned to convert the property into a studio and living quarters and eventually to open it up to the local community. A four-part show depicting the initial phase of the renovation, titled "Our Welsh Chapel Dream," is available for streaming on the British television station Channel 4. The limited series reveals the challenges faced by Keith and Marjory, including dry rot, fungus growth, decades of pigeon excrement, and the absence of water and electricity, as well as the reactions of the local citizens of Pwllheli to the repurposing of the building complex.

Pwllheli railway station serves the small coastal town of Pwllheli, on the Llŷn Peninsula in Gwynedd, Wales. It is the northern terminus of the Cambrian Coast Railway.

Pwllheli (Welsh: [pʊɬˈhɛli] ; ) is a market town and community on the Llŷn Peninsula (Welsh: Penrhyn Llŷn), in Gwynedd, north-west Wales. It had a population of 4,076 in 2011, which declined slightly to 3,947 in 2021; a large proportion (81%) were Welsh speaking. Pwllheli is the place where Plaid Cymru was founded. It is the birthplace of the Welsh poet Sir Albert Evans-Jones (bardic name Cynan). Pwllheli has a range of shops and other services. As a local railhead with a market every Wednesday, the town is a gathering point for the peninsula's population.

The Afon Erch is a short river on the Llŷn peninsula, Gwynedd, Wales. It arises near the village of Llanaelhaearn, flowing south and southwest towards the hamlet of Llwyndyrys where it turns abruptly eastwards and curves around to the south, passing to the east of Y Ffor at Rhyd-y-gwystl. It continues towarin a SSW direction towards Abererch where despite the village name, it does not enter the sea but flows west parallel to the coast for 1 mile to Pwllheli. The Afon Rhyd-hir (translates from Welsh as 'river of the long ford') joins the Afon Erch within the tidal basin of Pwllheli Harbour. Its headwaters gather to the south of Llithfaen and flow south past Llannor to approach Pwllheli from the west. It is joined by the Afon Penrhos immediately west of the town, having originated around the extensive bog of Cors Geirch, a national nature reserve. Parts of the courses of each of these rivers occupy valleys that were formed by glacial meltwater. The uppermost Penrhos is a misfit stream within its valley. The name of the Erch either signifies 'dappled/dark' or is possibly a personal name. Until the 16th century Aber-erch did sit at the point at which the river entered the sea but the longshore drift of the sands of Morfa Abererch diverted it west thereafter.

Ysgol Glan y Môr is a bilingual comprehensive school in the market town of Pwllheli in the Welsh county of Gwynedd. The school serves a large part of the Llŷn Peninsula (Welsh: Penrhyn Llŷn). As of 2024, there were 469 pupils on roll at the school. According to the latest Estyn inspection report in 2024, approximately 78 percent of pupils come from Welsh-speaking homes.

Pwllheli South, since 2022 officially known by the Welsh name of De Pwllheli, is one of the electoral wards in the town of Pwllheli on the coast of the Llŷn Peninsula in Gwynedd, Wales. It elects representatives to the town and county councils.

Pwllheli F.C. (Welsh: Clwb Pêl Droed Pwllheli) is a football club based in Pwllheli in North Wales. They play in the Ardal NW League. Their home ground is at the Recreation Ground.

Pwllheli Lifeboat Station is located in the town of Pwllheli, which sits on the Llŷn Peninsula, in the historic county of Gwynedd, Wales. A lifeboat station was first established here by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) in 1891. The station currently operates a D-class (IB1) lifeboat, Robert J Wright (D-811), on station since 2017.

Carreg yr Imbill is the remains of a large dolerite with pegmatite pods and quarry at Pwllheli, Gwynedd, Wales. The dolerite was mined by the Liverpool and Pwllheli Granite Company (sometimes known as the Pwllheli Granite Company), which used the diorite for stone setts to pave the streets. The worked out quarry forms the basis for a large holiday village which is run by the Haulfryn Group, the same company that runs The Warren in Abersoch.

Plas Bodegroes is a former Georgian country house which stands in its own grounds near Pwllheli, Gwynedd on the Llŷn Peninsula. The grade II* listed building, previously a restaurant is now a self catering holiday home. The house was built in 1780 for William Griffith (1748–1816), probably designed by Joseph Bromfield, and probably incorporating elements of a previous house. It is built in two storeys with attics, rendered and painted white. Like the other two houses thought to have been designed by Bromfield (Broom Hall and Nanhoron), the house has a long verandah at the rear supported by elegant iron pillars. A notable feature of the grounds is the avenue of beech trees leading up to the house. By the end of the 19th century the house belonged to a John Savin. In the 1940s it belonged to a show-business dancer who created a Japanese garden at the rear. The gardens are designated Grade II on the Cadw/ICOMOS Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in Wales. Owned by Chris and Gunna Chown since 1986, it was until 2006 Wales' only Michelin Starred restaurant, and the only 5-star rated restaurant with a hotel in Wales; in 2009 it lost its Michelin-star.

Bryn Beryl Hospital (Welsh: Ysbyty Bryn Beryl) is a health facility in Pwllheli, Gwynedd, Wales. It is managed by the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.
