Moscow Chekhov Art Theatre

The Moscow Art Theatre (or MAT; Russian: Московский Художественный академический театр (МХАТ), Moskovskiy Hudojestvenny Akademicheskiy Teatr (МHАТ)) was a theatre company in Moscow. It was founded in 1898 by the seminal Russian theatre practitioner Konstantin Stanislavski, together with the playwright and director Vladimir Nemirovich-Danchenko. It was conceived as a venue for naturalistic theatre, in contrast to the melodramas that were Russia's dominant form of theatre at the time. The theatre, the first to regularly put on shows implementing Stanislavski's system, proved hugely influential in the acting world and in the development of modern American theatre and drama. It was officially renamed the Gorky Moscow Art Theatre in 1932. In 1987, the theatre split into two troupes, the Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre and the Gorky Moscow Art Theatre.

Kamergerskiy Pereulok or Chamberlain Lane (Russian: Камергерский переулок) is a short street with many historical buildings located within the Boulevard Ring in central Moscow. Historical buildings have been preserved in the lane, the authors of which are architects Fyodor Schechtel, M.N. Chichagov, B.V. Freidenberg, E.S. Yuditsky. Almost all buildings of Chamberlain Lane are classified as architectural monuments and valuable city-forming objects.The lane is associated with the life and work of Russian cultural figures. Writers Vladimir Odoyevsky, Yuri Samarin, Leo Tolstoy, Yury Olesha, Mikhail Svetlov, Eduard Bagritsky, Lev Kassil, Mikhail Sholokhov, Venedikt Yerofeyev lived here; poetess Novella Matveyeva; actors Vera Pashennaya, Vasily Kachalov, Alla Tarasova, Mark Prudkin, Nikolai Khmelyov, Sofya Giatsintova, Lyubov Orlova; painter Vasily Tropinin; composer Sergei Prokofiev and many others. The street runs from Tverskaya Street in the west, to Bolshaya Dmitrovka Street in the east.

Moscow Art Theatre School is the studio school of the Moscow Art Theatre. It is a state educational institution that has existed since 1943. The initiator of the studio school was Vladimir Nemirovich-Danchenko.Open three faculties — the cast (training — 4 years, the competition — 30 per place), staging (training — 5 years, the contest — 3 persons per place) and Producer (training — 5 years, the competition — 4 persons per place). The street runs from Tverskaya Street in the west, to Petrovka Street in the east.

The Russian State Archive of Socio-Political History (RGASPI) (Russian: Российский государственный архив социально-политической истории (РГАСПИ)) is a large Russian state archive based in Moscow, which holds pre-1952 archives of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU). It is managed by Rosarkhiv. It was established in 1999 as merger of two other archives, the Russian Centre for the Preservation and Study of Documents of Most Recent History (RTsKhIDNI, Russian: Российский центр хранения и изучения документов новейшей истории (РЦХИДНИ) and the Centre for the Preservation of Documents of Youth Organizations (Russian: Центр хранения документов молодежных организаций (ЦХДМО)). Post-1952 archives of the CPSU are collected in the Russian State Archive of Contemporary History. The archives include many of the personal papers of major Communist and Soviet leaders, including Nikolai Bukharin, Felix Dzerzhinsky, Lazar Kaganovich, Mikhail Kalinin, Lev Kamenev, Sergei Kirov, Georgy Malenkov, Anastas Mikoyan, V. M. Molotov, Georgi Plekhanov, Joseph Stalin, Leon Trotsky, and Grigory Zinoviev.

The Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation (Russian: Министерство цифрового развития, связи и массовых коммуникаций Российской Федерации), also known as MinTsifry Rossii (Russian: Минцифры России), is a ministry of the Government of Russia responsible for telecommunications, media and the post. The Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media was established in May 2008 from successor agencies of the Ministry of Communications of the USSR, and was known as the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications until it receiving its current name in 2018. Maxut Shadayev has been the Minister of Telecom and Mass Communications since 21 January 2020.

The Yermolova Theatre (Russian: Москóвский теáтр им. М. Н. Ермóловой) is a theatre company in the Tverskoy District of central Moscow. It is under the artistic direction of Vladimir Andreyev (Russian: Владимир Андреев). The theatre's building was built in the 1830s, and is one of the largest on Tverskaya Street. Tickets for productions cost about 50-300 roubles.

Aragvi was a Soviet and Russian restaurant on Tverskaya Street in Moscow that specialized in Georgian and Caucasian cuisine. During Soviet times, it had a reputation as an important gathering place for political, scientific, and cultural elites. Aragvi has also been featured in American and Soviet popular culture. The building housing the restaurant, the former "Hotel Dresden", is recognized as a Russian cultural heritage site. Aragvi closed permanently in early 2019.

It is headquartered at Tverskaya Street 11 in Tverskoy District, Central Administrative Okrug, Moscow.The Ministry of Education was established on 17 May 2018 after the Ministry of Education and Science was split into two parts, with the departments for universities and scientific institutions forming the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. Its first minister was Olga Vasilieva, the minister of the previous ministry. The name of the Ministry of Education is sometimes translated into English as the "Ministry of Enlightenment" or "Ministry of General Education." Sergey Kravtsov has served as the Minister of Education since 21 January 2020.
