Davos Wiesen

Davos Wiesen railway station, formerly Wiesen, is a railway station in the municipality of Davos, in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. It is located on the Davos Platz–Filisur line. An hourly service operates on this line.

The Wiesen Viaduct (or Wiesener Viaduct; German: Wiesener Viadukt) is a single-track railway viaduct, made from concrete blocks with dimension stone coverage. It spans the Landwasser southwest of the hamlet of Wiesen, in the canton of Grisons, Switzerland. Designed by the then chief engineer of the Rhaetian Railway, Henning Friedrich, it was built between 1906 and 1909 by the contractor G. Marasi (Westermann & Cie, Zürich) under the supervision of P. Salaz and Hans Studer (RhB). The Rhaetian Railway still owns and uses it today for regular service. An important element of the Davos–Filisur railway, the viaduct is 88.9 metres (292 ft) high and 210 metres (690 ft) long; it has a main span of 55 metres (180 ft).

Greifenstein Castle is a ruined castle in the municipality of Filisur of the Canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. It is included on the register of the Swiss Inventory of Cultural Property of National and Regional Significance.

Filisur railway station is a railway station in the municipality of Filisur, in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. It is located at the junction of the 1,000 mm (3 ft 3+3⁄8 in) metre gauge Albula and Davos Platz–Filisur lines of the Rhaetian Railway. Hourly services operate on both lines. There are currently three platforms in use at Filisur station. From the direction of Chur, the line passes through Thusis and Tiefencastel. It then crosses two of the Rhaetian Railway's major railway bridges before arriving in Filisur: the Schmittentobel Viaduct, and the Landwasser Viaduct. On the Davos to Filisur line, trains from Davos similarly cross the Wiesen Viaduct just before entering Filisur.

The Landwasser Viaduct (German: Landwasserviadukt) is a single-track six-arched curved limestone railway viaduct. It spans the Landwasser between Schmitten and Filisur, in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. Designed by Alexander Acatos, the Landwasser Viaduct was constructed between 1901 and 1902 by Müller & Zeerleder on behalf of the Rhaetian Railway, which both owns and operates it through to the present day. A signature structure of the World Heritage-listed Albula Railway, it is 65 metres (213 ft) high, 136 metres (446 ft) long; its southeastern abutment connects directly to the Landwasser Tunnel. During 2009, the Landwasser Viaduct underwent renovation work for the first time since its original construction.

Davos Monstein railway station is a railway station in the municipality of Davos, in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. It is located on the Davos Platz–Filisur line. An hourly service operates on this line.

The Schmittentobel Viaduct (German: Schmittentobel-Viadukt) is a single track limestone railway viaduct. It is situated near Schmitten, in the Canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. The viaduct was opened in 1903 by the Rhaetian Railway, which still owns and uses it today. An important element of the World Heritage-listed Albula Railway, the viaduct is 35 metres (115 ft) high, 137 metres (449 ft) long, and has seven spans, each 15 metres (49 ft) in length.

Bergün Filisur is a municipality in the Albula Region in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. On 1 January 2018 the former municipalities of Bergün/Bravuogn and Filisur merged to form the new municipality of Bergün Filisur.

Filisur is an Alpine village and former municipality in the Albula Region in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. The village sits on a hillside with a view to the west where the two rivers Albula/Alvra from the Albula Pass and Landwasser from Davos meet. On 1 January 2018 the former municipalities of Bergün/Bravuogn and Filisur merged into the new municipality of Bergün Filisur.

Schmitten (Romansh: Ferrera) is a municipality in the Albula Region in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland.
