The USF Health Byrd Alzheimer's Institute is an Alzheimer's disease research center based in Tampa, Florida. The center was founded on July 1, 2002 as an independent, state-funded facility on the vision of former Florida Speaker of the House Johnnie Byrd, whose father suffered from the disease. Today, the Institute is a multi-disciplinary center at the University of South Florida and the world’s largest freestanding diagnostic facility providing comprehensive memory care services in one location.

The Arthenia L. Joyner University Area Community Library is a member of the Tampa–Hillsborough County Public Library System (THPL) and the Hillsborough County Public Library Cooperative (HCPLC). It is a 15,000 square foot facility located adjacent to Muller Elementary Magnet School on 13619 North 22nd St. In addition to serving as a public library, the location also serves a partnership library with the Hillsborough County Public School system. The library doubles as a media center for the Mueller Elementary Magnet School during school hours and as a public library during all operating hours. In addition to books, the library offers a variety of meeting spaces, computers, technology instruction, literacy and family events.

University is an unincorporated census-designated place in Hillsborough County, Florida, United States. The population was 41,163 at the 2010 census, up from 30,736 at the 2000 census. The University of South Florida is located just southeast of the community, within the Tampa city limits. The community is also known as "University West", mainly due to its location in relation to the university. The community is often notoriously referred to by locals as "Suitcase City" due to the high rate of transients.

The University of South Florida Tampa Library is the main research library for the University of South Florida. Housing over 1.3 million books, academic journals and electronic resources, including 52,000 e-journal subscriptions, 443,000 e-books, and over 800 databases, the library has more than 2 million visitors each year. The library offers tutoring and writing services, laptops, a career resource center, and course reserves. The facility houses several special and digital collections, including literature, oral histories, photographs, artifacts, and the university archives. The current Dean of USF Libraries is Todd Chavez.

University Mall, previously University Square Mall, is a shopping mall located near the University of South Florida, just north of the city limits of Tampa on Fowler Avenue. The property is located just east of I-275. The mall is anchored by Burlington Coat Factory, Grand's, and K&G Fashion Superstore. Demolition of the closed section of the mall began on February 19, 2019.

The USF Track and Field Stadium (formerly known as the USF Soccer Stadium from 1978 to 1991 and the USF Soccer and Track Stadium from 1991 to 2010) is a track and field stadium that was built in 1978. The stadium is currently home to the men's and women's track and field teams from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. It also hosted the school's men's and women's soccer programs from 1978 and 1995 respectively through the end of their 2010 seasons.

The University of South Florida (USF) is a public research university with its main campus located in Tampa, Florida, and other campuses in St. Petersburg and Sarasota. It is one of 12 members of the State University System of Florida. USF is home to 14 colleges, offering more than 240 undergraduate, graduate, specialist, and doctoral-level degree programs. USF is classified among "R1: Doctoral Universities – Very high research activity" and is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. USF is home to the National Academy of Inventors and the Florida Inventors Hall of Fame, both located in the USF Research Park in the southwest side of campus.USF's sports teams are known as the South Florida Bulls and primarily compete in the American Athletic Conference of NCAA Division I. USF's 19 varsity teams have won a combined 6 national championships and 160 conference championships. Athletes representing the Bulls have won an additional 21 individual and relay national championships and 206 individual and relay conference championships.

The Muma College of Business (formerly the USF College of Business Administration) is the University of South Florida's business school. It conferred its first degree in 1963 and was named for businessman and alumnus Les Muma in 2014. There are currently approximately 5,000 undergraduate students and 2,000 graduate students enrolled. USF Muma offers undergraduate majors in Accounting, Advertising, Business Analytics and Information Systems, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (A Rising National Program), Finance, Global Business, Hospitality Management, Information Assurance and Cybersecurity Management, Management, Marketing, Personal Financial Planning, Risk Management and Insurance, and Supply Chain Management. Muma offers graduate majors in Accountancy, Business Analytics and Information Systems, Finance, Information Assurance and Cybersecurity Management, Management, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Entrepreneurship and Applied Technologies, Business Administration, Sports and Entertainment Management, and Big Data Analytics. Muma classes are offered on all three of USF's campuses: Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota–Manatee. The interim dean is Gert-Jan de Vreede, preceded by Moez Limayem.

The University of South Florida (USF) College of Engineering consists of seven ABET accredited learning disciplines at the public research university's main campus located in Tampa, Florida. The college has 11 undergraduate degree programs in biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, civil engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, electrical engineering, environmental engineering, industrial engineering, information technology, and mechanical engineering.

The University of South Florida Botanical Gardens 15 acres (6.1 hectares) are located on the campus of the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, United States, and consist of 7 acres (2.8 hectares) of developed gardens plus 6 to 9 acres (2.4 to 3.6 hectares) of natural greenbelt. It is a member of the American Public Gardens Association, American Horticulture Society Reciprocal Admissions Program, Greater Temple Terrace Chamber of Commerce, and Visit Florida and receives about 35,000 visitors annually. The gardens are open to the public during weekday business hours, and on shorter weekend hours. Admission is $5 for adults.

Yuengling Center (formerly the USF Sun Dome) is an indoor arena on the main campus of the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa, Florida. Construction began in November 1977, and it opened on November 29, 1980. It is located in USF's Athletics District on the southeast side of campus, and is home to the South Florida Bulls men's and women's basketball and volleyball teams, as well as USF's commencement ceremonies and other school and local events. With 10,411 seats, it is the fourth-largest basketball arena by capacity in the American Athletic Conference.

The University of South Florida Athletic Hall of Fame was established in 2009 to recognize and perpetuate the memory of student athletes, teams, coaches and administrators who have made demonstrably outstanding and significant contributions to the success, tradition and heritage of USF Athletics, and who demonstrate the character and values that define the highest principles of sport. Induction in the University of South Florida Athletic Hall of Fame is the highest honor afforded by the USF Athletics Department.The Hall of Fame is located within the Lee Roy Selmon Athletic Center on USF's Tampa campus.
