Lay's Replay Field (Santa Ana)

KVNR (1480 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station licensed to Santa Ana, California, and serving Orange and Los Angeles counties. It is owned by Estrella Media, and broadcasts a Vietnamese language format known as "Little Saigon Radio". Programming is also broadcast in San Jose (KSJX) and simulcasted on DirecTV channel 2039. KVNR airs Vietnamese talk shows, newscasts, variety shows, and popular music. The station also rebroadcasts the Vietnamese services of Radio France Internationale and Radio Free Asia[1]. This station directly competes with KALI-FM 106.3 MHz, which also airs Vietnamese-language programming in the Los Angeles metropolitan area.

Honer Plaza, now the Bristol Marketplace, at 17th and Bristol streets in northwestern Santa Ana, California, was one of the first shopping centers in Orange County, California and one of the busiest in the county in its early days. Plans were announced for its construction in 1953 and it opened in 1958, starting with a 40,000-square-foot (3,700 m2) Ralphs supermarket. Other anchor tenants over the 1950s-1980s included Montgomery Ward (which opened on August 11, 1960 and closed along with the entire chain due to bankruptcy in early 2001), Long Beach-based Robert's department store, Nahas department store, and J. J. Newberry. By the 1980s, the center was outdated in design — two rows of stores with a small pedestrian mall in the center, surrounded by acres of parking — and had lost business to more modern malls including Fashion Square/MainPlace and The City Shopping Center in Orange.The site continues — without the pedestrian walkway lined with shops, thus effectively now a large strip mall — called Bristol Marketplace, anchored by Target (formerly HomeBase), Smart and Final Extra!, Northgate Market, Furniture Ave. (formerly Montgomery Ward, later Kohl's), and Big 5 Sporting Goods.

Santiago High School is a high school located in Garden Grove, California, and is a member of the Garden Grove Unified School District. The school's athletic teams are known as the Cavaliers. Santiago High School has been an AVID National Demonstration School since 2007 and an AVID Schoolwide Site of Distinction since 2016.

Lorin Griset Academy is a continuation high school in the Santa Ana Unified School District in Orange County, California. It opened in 2006. The current principal is Michael A. Parra.

Middle College High School @ Santa Ana College (Commonly referred to as Middle College or MCHS) is located on the campus of Santa Ana College, in Santa Ana, California. The school serves an average of 300 students consisting of 80-90 pupils in each grade level. High school classes average around 20-30 students, including grade levels 9 through 12. The school's mascot is the wizard. The school's colors are Purple and Silver

Hector Godinez Fundamental High School is a public high school in Santa Ana, California, and is part of the Santa Ana Unified School District. The school opened in 2007.

The Heritage Museum of Orange County, formerly the Exploratory Learning Center and the Discovery Museum of Orange County, is a historical museum in Santa Ana, California. In addition to being a museum, it also functions as an events center and educational program host. The museum's grounds, about 12 acres (4.9 ha) in total, contain historic buildings and receive 40,000 visitors annually.

Santiago Creek is a major watercourse in Orange County in the U.S. state of California. About 34 miles (55 km) long, it drains most of the northern Santa Ana Mountains and is a tributary to the Santa Ana River. It is one of the longest watercourses entirely within the county. The creek shares its name with Santiago Peak, at 5,687 ft (1,733 m) the highest point in Orange County, on whose slopes its headwaters rise. The Santiago Creek watershed covers about 100.6 square miles (261 km2) in northern Orange County. The upper part of the creek is free-flowing, while the lower section is urbanized and includes parts of the cities of Tustin, Orange, and Santa Ana. Below the Villa Park Dam the creek is mostly channelized and flows only during heavy winter storms. Historically the Santiago Creek provided water for the Tongva people, whose territory extended over much of northern present-day Orange County and into the Los Angeles Basin. Native Americans have inhabited the Santiago Creek and Santa Ana River watershed for up to 12,000 years. The creek was named by the Spanish Gaspar de Portolá expedition of 1769, which crossed the Santa Ana River near where it meets the Santiago Creek. In the 1870s there was a short-lived silver boom along the tributary Silverado Creek. In 1929 the Santiago Dam was built to form Irvine Lake, to supply irrigation water. Pipelines from Irvine Lake still contribute a small amount of water to the municipality of Villa Park.

Santa Ana (Spanish for 'Saint Anne') is the county seat of Orange County, California. Located in the Greater Los Angeles region of Southern California, the city's population was 310,227 at the 2020 census, making Santa Ana the second most populous city in Orange County (after Anaheim), the 13th-most populous city in California, and the 64th densest large city in the United States. Santa Ana is a major regional economic and cultural hub for the Orange Coast. Santa Ana's origins began in 1810, when the Spanish governor of California granted Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana to José Antonio Yorba. Following the Mexican War of Independence, the Yorba family rancho was enlarged, becoming one of the largest and most valuable in the region and home to a diverse Californio community. Following the American Conquest of California, the rancho was sold to the Sepúlveda family, who subsequently lost their land claim. In 1869, William H. Spurgeon then purchased the rancho and formally founded the modern city of Santa Ana. Approximately four-fifths Latino, Santa Ana has been characterized by The New York Times as the "face of a new California, a state where Latinos have more influence in everyday life—electorally, culturally and demographically—than almost anywhere else in the country."

Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana was a 63,414-acre (256.63 km2) Spanish land concession in present-day Orange County, California, given by Spanish Alta California Governor José Joaquín de Arrillaga in 1810 to Jose Antonio Yorba and his nephew Pablo Peralta. The grant extended eastward from the Santa Ana River to the Santa Ana Mountains, with a length of more than 22 miles (35 km).The lands encompass present-day Santa Ana, Orange, Villa Park, Anaheim Hills, El Modena, Tustin, Costa Mesa, and a part of Irvine, which was formerly known as Rancho Lomas de Santiago and was titled to one of the Yorbas.
