The Iron Block Building is a five-story commercial structure with a cast-iron exterior built in 1860 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 1974 it was added to the National Register of Historic Places - the only surviving building in Milwaukee with a cast iron skin - a common technique from 1850 to 1870.

The AT&T Center is a 19-story, 213 foot tall neo-gothic building in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Construction began in 1918 for Wisconsin Telephone and was completed in 1924. It houses the AT&T Wisconsin headquarters.

The Pabst Building was a 14-story neo-gothic high-rise building in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Built in 1891, it was Milwaukee's first skyscraper, and was the tallest building in Milwaukee until the Milwaukee City Hall was finished four years later. The Pabst Building was demolished in 1981 and the 100 East Wisconsin Building now occupies its site. Having stood at 235-foot (72 m) tall, the Pabst Building is the 2nd tallest building ever demolished in Wisconsin.

The Chase Tower is a 22-story, 288-foot-tall (88 m) high-rise building in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Built in the International style, the building has a very dark green, almost black, facade. It is located alongside the Milwaukee River, at the corner of East Wisconsin Avenue and North Water Street. The Chase Tower includes 480,000 square feet (45,000 m2) of office space and a 746-space parking structure. Presently, the building is home to a Chase Bank branch and underground vault, the studios of Milwaukee Public Radio (WUWM), a few eateries, and numerous office tenants including JPMorgan Chase, Infinity Healthcare, Empower Retirement, and law firm O’Neil, Cannon, Hollman, DeJong & Laing. Skywalks connect it to its parking structure to the south and the Shops of Grand Avenue across the river via the ASQ Center.

The State Bank of Wisconsin is a six-story Neoclassical-styled office building built in 1906 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

The Milwaukee Athletic Club (often referred to as the MAC), is Milwaukee's only private social and full-service athletic club. It was once known as Milwaukee's premier destination for social, networking and athletics. In 2018, a plan was made to redevelop the building and re-energize the building and restore its reputation. A $61 million investment is underway which will offer premium social, business and athletics gathering spot with 54 high-end apartments featuring best-in-class amenities. The redesign will also open the ground floor to street level to be more welcoming to club members, guests, residents and the public. The building's new apartments will be a mix of one, two and three-bedroom units located on the top five floors, offering high-end finishes and unique floor plans that reflect the historic building. This project stands as the second largest development to be financed with State of Wisconsin historic preservation tax credits.

Diana is a public art work designed by American artist Dick Wiken and carved by Adoph Roegner, located in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The carved limestone depicts the Roman goddess Diana seated and surrounded by fish, cattails and a unicorn. It is located on the facade of the Milwaukee Athletic Club.

The Mitchell Building is an ornate five-story bank and insurance building designed by E. Townsend Mix in Second Empire style and built in 1876 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

The Newhall House Hotel Fire (January 10, 1883) is the deadliest fire ever to have affected the city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. At least 70 people perished in the fire. Survivors of the fire included General Tom Thumb and his wife Lavinia Warren, who were carried out of the building under the arm of a Milwaukee firefighter. Other survivors were William Edward Cramer, founder of The Evening Wisconsin, and his wife, Harriet.

The Milwaukee Police Department bombing was a November 24, 1917, bomb attack that killed nine members of local law enforcement and a civilian in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. The perpetrators were never caught but are suspected to be an anarchist terrorist cell operating in the United States in the early 20th century. The target was initially an evangelical church in the Third Ward and only killed the police officers when the bomb was taken to the police station by a concerned civilian. The bombing remained the most fatal single event in national law enforcement history for over 80 years until the 9/11 attacks.

Old St. Mary's Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin was built in 1846 and 1847. The parish was founded a year earlier, by German Catholic immigrants. It was the proto-German church of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. The city had been incorporated only the year before, and Wisconsin had not yet become a state. Old St. Mary's is the oldest church still standing in the city. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

The SafeHouse Restaurant was established in 1966 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Filled wall-to-wall with spy memorabilia collected by the founder/owner, David J. Baldwin. It has been used as a backdrop in movies shot in Milwaukee such as Major League, and has been featured on the History Channel as one of the best secret locations to visit in the United States. The restaurant has been in featured articles in Time, the Chicago Tribune, People Magazine, and the London daily express for its food, spy-themed drinks and espionage theme. Its mascot is Yugyps (Spyguy spelled backward). According to Rachael Ray in her $40 a Day series, "You would have to be a CIA agent to figure this place out in one trip." Wired Magazine says that SafeHouse is "The Hippest Place on the Planet." The Restaurant is connected to the newsroom pub, also designed by David Baldwin, where autographs of celebrities who have spoken to the Milwaukee Press Club are displayed. The ornate banquet rooms have booths with secret entrances into the SafeHouse. On June 16, 2015, David Baldwin retired, selling the SafeHouse to the Marcus Corporation.In 2016, it's Milwaukee was reopened after renovation. In April 2017, Marcus Corporation opened a second location in Chicago, IL, carrying Baldwin's legacy forward.
