St John the Evangelist Church is the parish church of Washingborough in Lincolnshire, England. It is one of the oldest buildings in the village.

Washingborough is a village in the North Kesteven district in Lincolnshire, England. Located 3 miles (5 km) east of Lincoln and 18 miles (29 km) from Sleaford. The population in the 2001 census was 3,356, increasing to 3,482 at the 2011 census. It is situated on the lower slopes of Lincoln Cliff limestone escarpment where the River Witham breaks through it. The south side of Lincoln Cathedral and its three towers can be seen from the village centre.

Greetwell is a village and civil parish in the West Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 823. It is situated 2 miles (3 km) east from the city and county town of Lincoln. Greetwell parish church is dedicated to All Saints, and is a Grade II* listed limestone building dating from the 11th century, and restored in the 19th. Both the west tower and the font date from the 13th century. On the north side of the apse is an early 13th-century tombstone, inscribed: "Hic Jacet Adanz de London Quandam Rectoristius ecclesiac cujus aizinzae propiehir Deus" There are two ashlar monuments in the apse to Richard Lely, who died 1734 and Anna Lely, died 1733. There is also a marble gravestone in the apse floor to Robert Dalyson, died 1620.The village is listed in the 1086 Domesday Book with twenty two households, 16 acres (0.1 km2) of meadow, one mill, two fisheries, and a church. There are earthwork remains of the medieval village either side of the railway line which are scheduled. Greetwell Hollow is a former quarry, now a nature reserve managed by the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust. Greetwell Hollow Quarry is also a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) situated on land owned by the Church Commissioners

The Priory Pembroke Academy (formerly Cherry Willingham Community School, Cherry Willingham Comprehensive School and Cherry Willingham Secondary Modern School) is a school for pupils aged 11–16 on Croft Lane in the village Cherry Willingham, located just outside the city of Lincoln, England. It opened under its current name in September 2017, under The Priory Federation of Academies. It was named for William Marshal, 1st Earl of Pembroke.

Branston Hall is a country house in the village of Branston, Lincolnshire, England. The hall, a Grade II listed building, is set in 88 acres (3.56 square kilometres) of wooded parkland and lakes. Originally commissioned as the family seat of the Melville family, the house became an RAF hospital during the Second World War, and then a sanatorium run by Lindsey County Council. It lay derelict in the 1970s and 1980s, underwent restoration and conversion into a retirement home in the late 1980s, and is now restored and converted into a three-star hotel. Weddings are often held at the hotel. Designed by John Macvicar Anderson in 1885, the house was built in Elizabethan Revival style.

Cherry Willingham is a large village and civil parish in the West Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. The population at the 2011 census was 3,506. It is situated approximately 4 miles (6 km) east from the city and county town of Lincoln. Neighbouring villages are Reepham, Nettleham and Fiskerton. The village is twinned with the French village Le Grand-Lucé.The village has two schools, Cherry Willingham Primary School and the Priory Pembroke Academy, shopping centre, library, surgery, two pubs, a church and a chapel.

Branston was a rural district in Kesteven in Lincolnshire, England from 1894 to 1931. It was formed under the Local Government Act 1894 from the part of Lincoln rural sanitary district which was in Kesteven (the rest going to form Welton Rural District in Lindsey). It was abolished in 1931 under a County Review Order, and was merged into a North Kesteven Rural District.
