Top City (Chinese: 台中大遠百) is a shopping mall located in the 7th Redevelopment Zone of Xitun District, Taichung, Taiwan that opened on 22 December 2011. The mall is owned and operated by the Far Eastern Group. With a total floor area of 178,895 m2 (1,925,610 sq ft) and 14 floors above ground and 2 floors below ground, it is the largest shopping center in Taichung when it opened. Main core stores of the mall include Tissot, Hermes, Bvlgari, Gap, Nike and various other high end brands and themed restaurants. In March 2021, the second authorized Lego store in Taiwan opened in the mall.

The Landmark (Chinese: 聯聚中雍大廈) is a skyscraper located in Xitun District, Taichung, Taiwan. As of December 2020, it is the tallest in Taichung and 11th tallest in Taiwan. The height of the building is 192.0 m (629.9 ft), the floor area is 62,012 m2 (667,490 sq ft), and it comprises 39 floors above ground, as well as seven basement levels. The appearance design is based on the shape of a Chinese-style comb. The whole building adopts the most simple and stable long rectangle, and the corners are cut to arc to soften the skyline. The building materials of the whole building are made of beige granite and grey glass, and partly matched with dark grey metal panels.

The Taiwan Summit Tower (Chinese: 允將TST台灣之鑽) is an under construction skyscraper located in Taichung's 7th Redevelopment Zone, Xitun District, Taichung, Taiwan. Upon its expected completion in 2029, it will be the third tallest building in Taichung. The architectural height of building is 182.55 m (598.9 ft), and it comprises 40 floors above ground, as well as 9 basement levels. Taiwan Summit Tower is the first building in central Taiwan to obtain a GRESB green building certification. The building has broken Taichung's record to become the most expensive office outside Taipei City, where the price per metre squared exceeded NT$300,000.

On 13 February 2025, a gas explosion occurred at the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi department store in the Xitun District of Taichung, Taiwan. Five people were killed, including three tourists from Macau who were struck by debris, and 38 were injured, making it the deadliest incident in the history of Taiwanese department stores. Investigations are underway as of 2025, but according to the Taichung District Prosecutors Office (zh) and Fire Bureau of the Taichung City Government (zh), the gas explosion was the result of an improper cut of natural gas pipelines during renovation, thus believed that the incident was a gas explosion. The Taichung City government fined the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi department store 1.5 million NTD for failing to follow construction regulations. The store's staff received paid leave during its suspension, while the department store still operates some smaller pop-up retails.

The La Bella Vita, also known as Huizhong Road Tower (Chinese: 麗格; pinyin: Lì gé), is a residential skyscraper located in Taichung's 7th Redevelopment Zone, Xitun District, Taichung, Taiwan. It is designed by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and Partners. The height of the building is 128 m (420 ft), and it comprises 33 floors above ground, as well as six basement levels.

The Treasure Garden (Chinese: 寶格; pinyin: Bǎo gé) is a residential skyscraper located in Xitun District, Taichung, Taiwan. It is designed by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and Partners. As of December 2020, it is the 9th tallest building in Taichung and 29th tallest in Taiwan. The height of the building is 160 m (520 ft), with a floor area of 29,349 m2 (315,910 sq ft), and it comprises 39 floors above ground, as well as six basement levels.

The Du Show (Chinese: 聚合發獨秀) is a 34-story, 130.15 m (427.0 ft) residential skyscraper completed in 2013 and located in Taichung's 7th Redevelopment Zone, Xitun District, Taichung, Taiwan. As of March 2021, the building is the 35th tallest in Taichung. The building was constructed under strict requirements of preventing damage caused by earthquakes and typhoons common in Taiwan.

The Taichung City Government (Chinese: 台中市政府; pinyin: Táizhōng Shì Zhèngfǔ) is the municipal government of Taichung.

The Fountain Palace (Chinese: 聯聚方庭大廈; pinyin: Liánjù Fāngtíng Dàshà) is a residential skyscraper located in Xitun District, Taichung, Taiwan. It was completed in 2010 and was designed by C.Y. Lee & Partners. The height of the building is 155 m (509 ft), and it comprises 39 floors above ground, as well as five basement levels.

Wanin International Headquarters (Chinese: 網銀國際總部; pinyin: Wǎngyín guójì zǒngbù), is an under-construction, 150.5 m (494 ft), 28-storey skyscraper office building located in Xitun District, Taichung, Taiwan. Construction of the building began in June 2022. Upon completion in 2025, the building will serve as the new headquarters for Wanin International, a Taiwanese video game developer based in Taichung.

The Cosmos (Chinese: 寶璽天睿; pinyin: Bǎo xǐ tiān ruì) is a residential skyscraper located in Taichung's 7th Redevelopment Zone, Xitun District, Taichung, Taiwan. Construction of the building began in 2012 and it was completed in 2018. The height of the building is 149.65 m (491.0 ft), with a floor area of 39,957 m2 (430,090 sq ft), and it comprises 38 floors above ground, as well as four basement levels. As of January 2021, it is the 22nd tallest building in Taichung.

Taichung City Hall is a metro station operated by Taichung Metro located in Xitun District, Taichung, Taiwan. It is on the Green Line. The planned Blue Line will intersect with the Green Line at this station.
