Lago di Loppio is a lake in Trentino, Italy. The lake has been drained as a result of the construction of the Mori-Torbole Tunnel in 1954. It occasionally fills up again for a short time when hit by heavy rain. The lake basin is now a wetland that constitutes a specific ecosystem hosting a peculiar flora and fauna. For that reason, the Autonomous Province of Trento declared this area as a protected biotope.

Nago–Torbole (Nach e Tùrbule in local dialect) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 30 kilometres (19 miles) southwest of Trento on the north shore of Lake Garda. The municipality of Nago–Torbole contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Torbole (Turbel), Nago (Naag), and Tempesta. The villages cling to the limestone rocks on the extreme north-west slope of Monte Baldo; it lies close to the mouth of the river Sarca and its houses are set as an amphitheater around the small bay, in front of Monte Rocchetta and the Ledro Alps. Nago–Torbole borders the following municipalities: Arco, Riva del Garda, Mori, Ledro, Brentonico, and Malcesine.

The Mori–Torbole Tunnel (Italian: Galleria Adige–Garda) is a diversion tunnel completed in 1959 between the Italian towns of Mori and Nago-Torbole to connect the Adige river with Lake Garda.Its function is to reduce water levels in the river upstream of the province of Verona by discharging excess water into the lake. The tunnel reduces the risk of flooding in Verona and environs from once every seventy years to once every two centuries. To increase the level of Lake Garda by 0.4 inches (1.0 cm), the tunnel must divert about 130,000,000 cubic feet (3,700,000 cubic metres) of water. When the tunnel is open, the temperature shock and inflow of mud caused by the sudden influx of the Adige's water endanger the lake's fish populations, although the lake's larger volume is able to absorb large quantities of extraneous water into itself. For these reasons the tunnel is used only on the rare occasion when there is a flood risk in the Veronese basin.

The Sarca is a river springing from the Adamello-Presanella mountains in the Italian Alps and flowing into Lake Garda at Torbole. As an emissary of the lake it becomes known as the Mincio river, forming a single river system 203 kilometres (126 mi) long (Sarca-Mincio). With its 78 km (48 mi) length, it is the fifth largest river in Trentino after the Adige, Brenta 174 km (108 mi), Noce 105 km (65 mi) and Avisio 90 km (56 mi), while it is the second for flow after Adige. The river is shallow and fast flowing, passing through the Genova valley (Val di Genova), forming a number of waterfalls, of which Cascina Muta and Saft dei Can are the best known. Before reaching the Rendena Valley (Val Rendena), part of its water is diverted to a hydroelectric powerstation. Then its flow becomes less and less tumultuous. The main places on the river include Carisolo, Pinzolo, Tione di Trento, Le Sarche, Ponte Arche, Ragoli, Dro, Arco & Torbole.

Monte Altissimo di Nago is one of the highest summits of the Monte Baldo mountain range and thereby part of the Garda Mountains in northern Italy.

Brentonico (Brentònec in local dialect) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige, located about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southwest of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,770 and an area of 62.6 square kilometres (24.2 sq mi).The municipality of Brentonico contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Saccone, Fontechel, Crosano, Cazzano, Castione, Corné, Prada, Sorne, S.Giacomo, S.Valentino, and Polsa. Brentonico borders the following municipalities: Mori, Nago-Torbole, Malcesine, Ala, and Avio.

The Arboreto di Arco (1 hectare) is an arboretum and botanical garden located at Viale delle Palme, 1, Arco, Trentino, Italy. It is open daily without charge. The arboretum was created in 1872 by Archduke Albert, Duke of Teschen, on the grounds of his villa, not far from Lake Garda. It was renovated in 1964 as miniature landscapes, reconstructing natural plant environments, and in 1993 became part of the Museo Tridentino di Scienze Naturali. Today the arboretum contains about 150 species of plants from around the world, each labeled with Latin binomial, family, common name, and area of origin.

Riva del Garda (Rìva in local dialect) is a town and comune in the northern Italian province of Trento of the Trentino Alto Adige region. It is also known simply as Riva and is located at the northern tip of Lake Garda.

Arco Castle (Italian: Castello di Arco, German: Schloss Arch) is a ruined castle located on a prominent spur high above Arco and the Sarca Valley in Trentino, northern Italy.

Alto Garda e Ledro is one of the sixteen districts of Trentino in the Italian region of Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol.

Ponale Hydroelectric Power Plant (Italian: Centrale idroelettrica del Ponale) is a pumped storage plant, located in city of Riva del Garda in the Italian province of Trentino, on River Ponale between Lake Ledro and Lake Garda. Its output capability is 76MW.The station was built in 1928-1929 and, following rework of the pipes, underwent overhaul in 1998.From Lake Ledro, the water is ducted several kilometers to penstocks at a point (close to the Chiesa di Santa Barbara) almost directly above the power station buildings and machinery at Riva del Garda; from here it falls on a gradient approaching 3:1 to the turbines.The station is known by the world record in high-rise concrete pumping during the reconstruction in 1994. The achieved record was 532m.During construction of the plant, there was discovered the remains of a Bronze Age pile-dwelling village (over 10 000 piles) on the east of the Lake Ledro.

The Ponale is a 7-kilometre-long (4 mi) river originating in Lake Ledro (Lago di Ledro) in Trentino, Northern Italy. The river first passes Molina di Ledro, Prè di Ledro and Biacesa, there feeding a fish farm. Starting from Biacesa the Ponale enters a steep canyon, and after a cascade the Ponale flows into Lake Garda close to Porto del Ponale.
