Spišská Stará Ves

Majere (until 1948 Vyšné Šváby, German: Oberschwaben) is a small village and tiny municipality in Kežmarok District in the Prešov Region of north Slovakia.

Pieniny National Park (Polish: Pieniński Park Narodowy) is a protected area located in the heart of the Pieniny mountains in the southernmost part of Poland. It is the oldest national park in Poland. Administratively, the park lies in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship on the border with Slovakia. Its head office is in Krościenko nad Dunajcem. The Pieniny mountain chain is divided into three ranges: Pieniny Spiskie, Małe Pieniny, and the Pieniny Właściwe range where the Park is located. The park's area is 23.46 square kilometres (9.06 sq mi), of which 13.11 km2 is forested. One-third (7.5 km2) is strictly protected. On the Slovak side of the mountains there is a parallel park called the Pieninský národný park.

Matiašovce (Slovak pronunciation: [ˈmacɪɐʂɔwtse], Goral: Mačasovce, Polish: Maciaszowce) is a village and municipality in Kežmarok District in the Prešov Region of north Slovakia.

Sromowce Wyżne [srɔˈmɔft͡sɛ ˈvɨʐnɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Czorsztyn, within Nowy Targ County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland, close to the border with Slovakia. It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) south-east of Maniowy, 25 km (16 mi) east of Nowy Targ, and 78 km (48 mi) south-east of the regional capital Kraków.

The Dunajec River Gorge (Polish: Przełom Dunajca; Slovak: Prielom Dunajca; German: Dohnst-Schlucht) runs through the Pieniny Mountains in the south of Poland and the north of Slovakia (as Dunajec is the border river between the two countries in the area). The gorge is characterized by some of the most interesting geological and geomorphological structures and area-specific natural ecosystems with little anthropogenic influence. It is featured on UNESCO's Tentative List of World Heritage Sites in Poland.Dunajec Gorge is also one of the best-known tourist attractions in the Pieniny Mountains. Wooden raft trips have been organized daily by Pieniny Gorals since the early 19th century — when their customers consisted mostly of guests of nearby Niedzica and Czorsztyn castles. The trip begins in the village of Sromowce Wyżne-Kąty, and ends in the resort town of Szczawnica, 18 km downstream. It takes about 2–3 hours. The second leg of the tour is only 5 km long. It begins in Szczawnica and ends in the town of Krościenko nad Dunajcem. The Gorge makes 7 loops in its length. The surrounding rock reaches 300 m in height almost all the way through.

It lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) south-east of Maniowy, 30 km (19 mi) east of Nowy Targ, and 82 km (51 mi) south-east of the regional capital Kraków.

Krośnica [krɔɕˈnit͡sa] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Krościenko nad Dunajcem, within Nowy Targ County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland, close to the border with Slovakia. It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) west of Krościenko nad Dunajcem, 24 km (15 mi) east of Nowy Targ, and 76 km (47 mi) south of the regional capital Kraków.

Havka is a village and municipality in Kežmarok District in the Prešov Region of northern Slovakia.

Niedzica Castle also known as Dunajec Castle (Latin: Castrum de Dunajecz, Hungarian: Nedec Váralja / Nedec-Vár, German: Sub-Arx Unterschloss, Slovak: Nedecký hrad), is located in the southernmost part of Poland in Niedzica (Nowy Targ County in Lesser Poland). It was erected between the years 1320 and 1326 by Kokos of Brezovica on the site of an ancient stronghold surrounded by earthen walls in the Pieniny mountains. The Niedzica Castle stands at an altitude of 566 m, on a hill 300 metres (980 ft) upstream from the Dunajec River mouth, measured from the center of the dam on Lake Czorsztyn. The outline of Niedzica Castle can best be viewed from the ruins of Czorsztyn Castle on the other side of the lake. It is known as one of the most picturesque castles in the country and adorns the covers of many books.
