Silver Dollar Island is a small island in Summit County, Colorado. It is in the Blue River arm of the Dillon Reservoir, east of the Frisco Peninsula. Its coordinates are 39.5833199°N 106.0564078°W / 39.5833199; -106.0564078 (Silver Dollar Island) and it sits at an elevation of 2,750 meters. It appears on a 1970 USGS map of the area, along with Sentinel Island and Fishhook Island. The island is generally accessible by land via a small sand spit.

Dillon Reservoir, sometimes referred to as Lake Dillon, is a large fresh water reservoir located in Summit County, Colorado, United States, south of I-70 and bordered by the towns of Frisco, Silverthorne, and Dillon. It is a reservoir for the city of Denver, and its waters are under the control of Denver Water. Popular ski areas are close to the reservoir, including Copper Mountain, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, and Breckenridge.

Four major ski resorts are located in close proximity to Frisco: Copper Mountain, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Arapahoe Basin.

Tenmile Creek is a stream in the U.S. state of Georgia. It is a tributary to the Altamaha River. Tenmile Creek was so named because it is 10 miles (16 km) away from Fort James Bluff. The name is sometimes spelled out as "Ten Mile Creek".

The Snake River is a short tributary of the Blue River, approximately 15 miles (24 km) long, in central Colorado in the United States. It drains a mountainous area on the west side of the Front Range in southeastern Summit County east of Keystone. It rises near the continental divide near Webster Pass along the Summit-Park county line and descends through a steep canyon to the north past the former mining camp of Montezuma, then turns west to flow past Keystone, where it joins the Blue from the east as an arm of Dillon Reservoir.

Tenmile Creek (also called Ten Mile Creek) is a stream in Summit County, Colorado. It rises above the Copper Mountain Ski Resort and follows alongside Interstate 70 for several miles before emptying into Dillon Reservoir. The creek — along with a paved trail that follows alongside it — is easily visible from Interstate 70 between Frisco and the Copper Mountain Ski Area. One of its tributaries, North Tenmile Creek, merges with it near Interstate 70. After this confluence, the creek flows near East Main Street in Frisco before it enters Dillon Reservoir.

Summit High School is a high school serving Summit County in the central Rocky Mountains of Colorado, United States. About 1,500 students attend the school from the surrounding mountain towns of Frisco, Dillon, Silverthorne, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Keystone and Summit Cove. Summit Middle School, located in Frisco, is the only feeder school for Summit High School. The high school is located 75 miles west of Denver, between Breckenridge and Frisco, near the Farmer's Korner housing subdivision. It sits at an elevation of 9,050' (2,758m). Timothy Ridder serves as the school's principal and Brittny Acres as the assistant principal. Summit High offers AP, IB, DP, and college-level courses through Colorado Mountain College. The high school has a variety of sports offered not limited to but including: rugby, lacrosse, football, basketball, swimming, wrestling and track and field.

The Frisco Schoolhouse (Site ID 5ST258), now a local museum registered on the National Register of Historic Places, is an original one-room schoolhouse located in the Frisco Historic Park in Frisco, Colorado. The schoolhouse is located on its original location. The building was first built as a saloon in the 1890s and later (c.1902) converted to a school, which now contains original blackboards and school desks. The museum also contains information about Ute people, Dillon Reservoir, mining, late 1800s clothing, and photographs.The Frisco Historic Park includes other original Frisco buildings from the late 1800s, including: a log chapel, jail, trapper's cabin and furnished homes.It was deemed significant for NRHP listing as it is the oldest standing schoolhouse in the town, and was the only school from 1902 to 1940.

Dillon Dam Brewery is a brewery and restaurant located in Dillon, Colorado, U.S.A. The brewery opened in February 1997 and is located near Keystone Resort. It has won several awards for its beers. They include: Silver Medal at the 2001 Great American Beer Festival for Dam Straight Lager Gold Medal at the 2002 World Beer Cup for their Sweet George's Brown Bronze Medal at the 2004 Great American Beer Festival for their Extra Pale Ale Gold Medal at the 2008 Great American Beer Festival for its Sweet George's Brown
