Sundbyberg railway station

Central Sundbyberg (Centrala Sundbyberg) is considered the oldest and most original part of Sundbyberg Municipality in Sweden. It is one of Stockholm's oldest satellite towns. Its proximity to Stockholm City Centre, nostalgic environment and well-connected transportation networks has made this part of town an attractive housing area. Forms of public transport include the Stockholm Metro (Tunnelbanan), Stockholm commuter rail (Pendeltåg) and SL buses. Trams returned to Sundbyberg in 2013 after 54 years of absence when Tvärbanan was expanded from Alvik to Solna. Tracks are laid in one of the main streets with two stops in this area. On the small streets of Central Sundbyberg, there are boutiques, restaurants, banks and other important services.

Sundbybergs centrum (Sundbyberg Centre) is a metro station, located in Sundbyberg Municipality, approximately 8 km (5.0 mi) from the centre of Stockholm. It opened on 19 August 1985 as part of the extension to between Västra skogen and Rinkeby. The metro station is connected to a stop on Tvärbanan with the same name, as well as to the railway station Sundbyberg served by the Stockholm commuter rail and long-distance trains.

Lilla Alby is a district in the southern corner of Sundbyberg Municipality, Sweden. It lies southwest of the railway Mälaren Line. It is separated from Bromma (Stockholm Municipality) by bay Bällstaviken (part of lake Mälaren) to the southwest, and borders Solna Municipality to the south and east, and Centrala Sundbyberg to the north. Lilla Alby has 4,235 citizens (as of 2013).

Sundbyberg Church is the main church of Sundbyberg, in Sweden, and is a part of the Church of Sweden. It is located in Central Sundbyberg, on Rosengatan 15. Opened in 1911, it was built in a Swedish church building architecture after drawings of architect Axel Sjögren (1877-1962).

Solna strand (known as Vreten until 18 August 2014) is a subway station on the Stockholm metro blue line. It was opened on 18 August 1985 as part of the extension between Västra skogen and Rinkeby and is located in the Huvudsta region of the Solna Municipality. The platform is located in bedrock, 28 m (92 ft) below ground level under Vretenvägen. The entrance is in the north end at Korta gatan. The station's theme is defined by artwork created by the Japanese-Swedish sculptor Takashi Naraha in 1985 called Himmelen av kub (The heaven of cube). It is located in and named after Solna Strand, a former industrial area on the shore of Lake Mälaren that has since developed into an area of office buildings. Organisations here include the Swedish Tax Authority, Hewlett-Packard and Axfood. There is also a power plant by the coast. Until 2014 the area was called Vretens industriområde (Vreten industrial area), after the farmstead called Vreten which was located here in the 19th century. Solna Business Park is located across the Mälaren Line railway to the north, and the Sundbyberg Municipality districts Lilla Alby and Central Sundbyberg are located to the west.

Sundbyberg Municipality (Sundbybergs kommun or Sundbybergs stad) is a municipality in Stockholm County in east central Sweden, just north of the capital Stockholm. Sundbyberg is wholly within the Stockholm urban area and has a 100% urban population. Sundbyberg was detached from Bromma (which since 1916 is in Stockholm Municipality) in 1888 as a market town (köping). It got the title of a city in 1927. In 1949 parts of Solna Municipality and Spånga Municipality (when the rest of Spånga was amalgamated into Stockholm) were added. A proposed merger with Solna in 1971 was never implemented, making Sundbyberg, with an area of 8.83 square kilometres (3.41 sq mi), the smallest municipality in Sweden, but also the most densely populated. The municipality prefers to call itself a city, which, however, has no legal significance.

Duvbo metro station is a station on the blue line of the Stockholm metro, located in Central Sundbyberg in Sundbyberg Municipality. It is named after the nearby Duvbo area. The station was inaugurated on 18 August 1985 as part of the extension to between Västra skogen and Rinkeby. It became the 98th station of Stockholm metro.

Duvbo is an upper-middle-class residential area in Sundbyberg in suburban Stockholm, Sweden. In 2019 it had 2217 inhabitants. The Duvbo metro station is located in central Sundbyberg, just outside (300m) Duvbo and is part of the Stockholm Metro. It was inaugurated on August 19, 1985. In 1899 the property Dufvebol, then in Spånga municipality, was sold to a suburb development company, which split the land and built roads, naming it Dufbo egna-hems-koloni (Duvbo own home community). After 5 years the suburb was nearly complete, housing 1200 residents. From 1900 trains stopped at the nearby (400m) station Sundbyberg Norra (named so because it was in the north-west of the adjacent suburb Sundbyberg) was opened, until 1963. In 1902 Duvbo became a municipalsamhälle (submunicipality), until 1949 when it transferred into Sundbyberg municipality. An epidemics hospital was built in 1925 on the Ekbacken slope on the south side of Duvbo, an was torn down in the 1960s, replaced by the hospital Sundbybergs sjukhus. Today Ekbacken is instead an elderly care home, next to a few tall residential buildings.

Huvudstabron (Swedish: "The Huvudsta Bridge") is a bridge in Sweden. Stretching over Bällstaviken it connects the industrial area Ulvsunda in the municipality Stockholm to the city district Huvudsta in the municipality Solna. I first bridge at the location was put forward in the 1930s, but was never realized until the general plan of 1960 when plans for the never realized arterial road Huvudstaleden was being discussed. Huvudstabron was built 1964–67 as a first stage in the project.It is a pre-stressed concrete structure, 286 metres in length with six spans of which the central passing over the strait below is the longest with a span of 100 metres; it is 28.2 metres wide with two 3 metres wide footways separated from the roadway by railings; and a horizontal clearance of 24 metres.

Storskogen is a district in Sundbyberg Municipality with 3062 inhabitants (in 2019), and a suburb in the Stockholm metropolitan area. It is located between Central Sundbyberg and the Solna Municipality district Råsunda. The metro station Näckrosen has an exit here. The area was a mix of forest and meadows until the 1950s, when the current residential area was built there.

Lötsjön is a small lake in Sundbyberg, a municipality north of Stockholm, Sweden. The shallow lake features a rich variety of water birds and a fountain. A promenade of approx. 1.4 km length leads around Lötsjön. Swimming in the lake is prohibited. The lake Råstasjön is located in close proximity to the east of Lötsjön.
