Established initially as Alta Villa by Italian immigrants in 1915, Little Italy is an unincorporated community in Pulaski and Perry counties in the U.S. state of Arkansas. The culturally rich and historically significant hamlet is located in high terrain along Arkansas Highway 300 amidst the northeastern foothills of the Ouachita Mountains bestriding Wye Mountain and Kryer Mountain. As part of a multi-decade heritage preservation effort, its residents are currently seeking status as an incorporated municipality.

Kryer Mountain is a ridge in Pulaski county in the U.S. state of Arkansas. It is located in the northeastern foothills of the Ouachita Mountains near Roland between the Arkansas and Big Maumelle river valleys.

Conway Municipal Airport (ICAO: KCXW, FAA LID: CXW) is a public use airport located 10 miles southwest of Conway, at Cantrell Field in Faulkner County, Arkansas, United States, owned by the City of Conway. The new airport opened in September 2014 as a replacement for the old Dennis F. Cantrell Field airport in the center of Conway.

Lundsford Corner is an unincorporated community in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States near the north shore of Lake Maumelle on Arkansas Highway 300. At this point, Highway 300 runs south-southeast and makes a sharp turn to the east-northeast. The community itself lies approximately 0.5 miles east-northeast of the actual corner at the highway's intersection with Roland Cutoff Road. There are no signs along Highway 300 marking the community, though it occasionally appears on modern-day maps. The Ouachita National Recreation Trail crosses Highway 300 at Lundsford Corner before it heads south toward Pinnacle Mountain State Park. This portion of the trail is sometimes known as Lundsford Crossing and is frequently used as an entry point for hikers.

Lake Maumelle is a man-made lake in central Arkansas, United States, in Pulaski County, and covers 8,900 acres. It is one of the primary drinking water sources for Little Rock, Arkansas. It is locally popular for boating and fishing. The lake was created in the late 1950s, with construction beginning in 1956 to dam the Big Maumelle River, and water flowing into the system in 1958.

Wye Mountain is a ridge in Perry and Pulaski counties in the U.S. state of Arkansas. It is located in the northeastern foothills of the Ouachita Mountains near Bigelow between the Fourche LaFave and Big Maumelle river valleys.

Roland is a census-designated place in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States. It is part of the Central Arkansas metropolitan area. Per the 2020 census, the population was 820.Currently it is in the Pulaski County Special School District and is zoned to Joe T. Robinson Elementary School, Joe T. Robinson Middle School, and Joe T. Robinson High School.

The Bigelow Rosenwald School, also known as Rosenwald Community Center, is a former Rosenwald School located in Toad Suck, about 10 miles (16 km) northeast of Bigelow, Perry County, Arkansas. Built in 1926, it is a single-story wood-frame building with vernacular Craftsman elements. It served as a school until 1964, when it became a community center. It is the only Rosenwald School building that still stands in Perry County.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

Toad Suck is an unincorporated community in Perry County, Arkansas, United States. It is the location of (or is the nearest community to) Bigelow Rosenwald School, which is located at the junction of Arkansas Highway 60 and Bethel AME Road and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.The origin of the name Toad Suck is disputed. Some believe that it received the name when idle rivermen would congregate at the local tavern where they would "suck on the bottle 'til they swell up like toads", while others believe it is a corruption of a French phrase meaning "a narrow channel in the river." Toad Suck has frequently been noted on lists of unusual place names.The community lent its name to the Toad Suck Ferry Lock and Dam on the Arkansas River. The dam is also a bridge bringing AR 60, locally named Prince Street, across the river. The Bigelow Rosenwald School is inland west of the river while Toad Suck Road is east of the river. Toad Suck Daze is an annual fair that raises funds for scholarships. First organized in 1982, the festival is held annually in nearby downtown Conway during the first weekend in May. Originally held at Toad Suck Park near the Arkansas River Lock and Dam, the festival was moved to the downtown location in 1990 due to flooding at the river and has remained in the downtown area ever since.

Mayflower High School is a comprehensive public high school for more than 300 students in grades 9 through 12 located in Mayflower, Arkansas, United States. Mayflower is one of six public high schools in Faulkner County and the sole high school administered by the Mayflower School District.

The Gene Rush House is a historic house at 9515 Barrett Road near Roland, Arkansas. It is a single story structure built out of wood, with a board-and-batten finish, resting on a concrete block foundation faced in fieldstone. The house was built about 1964; its architect is unknown. Gene Rush, for whom it was built, was an influential head of Arkansas' Game and Fishing Commission, whose signature achievement was the reintroduction of the black bear into the state.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2019.

Cadron Settlement Park (archaically Cadron) is a 150-acre (61 ha) public park located in Conway, Arkansas. It is operated by the city of Conway under a lease from the Corps of Engineers. The public park was established on October 14, 1979, and features a reconstructed blockhouse, boat launch, hiking trails, restrooms, picnic areas, pavilion, handicapped trails and parking areas, and interpretive signs. The Faulkner County Historical Society hosts public events in the blockhouse.
