Lake Maumelle

Lundsford Corner is an unincorporated community in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States near the north shore of Lake Maumelle on Arkansas Highway 300. At this point, Highway 300 runs south-southeast and makes a sharp turn to the east-northeast. The community itself lies approximately 0.5 miles east-northeast of the actual corner at the highway's intersection with Roland Cutoff Road. There are no signs along Highway 300 marking the community, though it occasionally appears on modern-day maps. The Ouachita National Recreation Trail crosses Highway 300 at Lundsford Corner before it heads south toward Pinnacle Mountain State Park. This portion of the trail is sometimes known as Lundsford Crossing and is frequently used as an entry point for hikers.

Kryer Mountain is a ridge in Pulaski county in the U.S. state of Arkansas. It is located in the northeastern foothills of the Ouachita Mountains near Roland between the Arkansas and Big Maumelle river valleys.

The Gene Rush House is a historic house at 9515 Barrett Road near Roland, Arkansas. It is a single story structure built out of wood, with a board-and-batten finish, resting on a concrete block foundation faced in fieldstone. The house was built about 1964; its architect is unknown. Gene Rush, for whom it was built, was an influential head of Arkansas' Game and Fishing Commission, whose signature achievement was the reintroduction of the black bear into the state.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2019.

Established initially as Alta Villa by Italian immigrants in 1915, Little Italy is an unincorporated community in Pulaski and Perry counties in the U.S. state of Arkansas. The culturally rich and historically significant hamlet is located in high terrain along Arkansas Highway 300 amidst the northeastern foothills of the Ouachita Mountains bestriding Wye Mountain and Kryer Mountain. As part of a multi-decade heritage preservation effort, its residents are currently seeking status as an incorporated municipality.

Roland is a census-designated place in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States. It is part of the Central Arkansas metropolitan area. Per the 2020 census, the population was 820.Currently it is in the Pulaski County Special School District and is zoned to Joe T. Robinson Elementary School, Joe T. Robinson Middle School, and Joe T. Robinson High School.

The Fourche La Fave River (pronounced "Fush (like push but with an f-sound) Luh Fave"; shown as Fourche LaFave River on federal maps) is a tributary of the Arkansas River, approximately 151 miles (243 km) long, in western Arkansas in the United States. It drains part of the northern Ouachita Mountains west of Little Rock. It was named for the La Feve family who settled near its mouth. Fourche is French meaning "fork".

Pinnacle Mountain State Park is a 2,356-acre state park located in Pulaski County, Arkansas just outside of Little Rock. The main attraction is Pinnacle Mountain, an iconic landmark surrounded by the bottomlands of the Big Maumelle and Little Maumelle rivers.

Pinnacle Mountain is a 1,011-foot (308 m) summit and the second-highest natural point in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States; it is also the primary attraction of the 2,356-acre (953 ha) Pinnacle Mountain State Park. Located in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains approximately 13 miles (21 km) northwest of downtown Little Rock, Arkansas, Pinnacle Mountain is one of the most iconic landforms of the U.S. Interior Highlands.

Joe T. Robinson High School is a public high school for students in grades 9 through 12 located in unincorporated Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States, just outside the city limits of Little Rock. The school is named after then U.S. Senator Joseph Taylor Robinson in 1927 during the same year Pulaski County Special School District (PCSSD) was formed. Robinson High School moved to its current facilities at the start of the 1981–82 school year and for 2010–11 hosts about 500 pupils, the smallest PCSSD high school population. The school is often referred to as “Pulaski Robinson.”Its service area includes portions of Little Rock, Natural Steps, Roland, and the Pulaski County portion of Alexander.Jason Pickering is the school's principal.

Natural Steps is an unincorporated census-designated place in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States. It is located 18 miles (29 km) northwest of Little Rock along the southern bank of the Arkansas River, on Arkansas Highway 300. Per the 2020 census, the population was 413. Today, it is a small farming community with scattered businesses. Most of the natural steps, a geologic formation, still stand today and are used as a marker for river runners. The Natural Steps are not open to the public for viewing.

The Doe Branch Post Office is a historic house and post office in rural western Pulaski County, Arkansas. Located on the north side of Kanis Road (County Road 38), just west of its junction with Golden Eagle Drive, it is an L-shaped single-story structure built in a sequence of steps. The oldest portion is a single-pen board-and-batten structure, built in 1890 by Noah Richards. To this were added a clapboard addition to the side, a porch to the rear, and a kitchen, also to the rear, giving the building its present L shape. The building is one of the oldest in the Ferndale area, which was originally known as Doe Run, and was occupied by two generations of the Richards family.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

The Arkansas Arboretum is a 71-acre (29 ha) arboretum within Pinnacle Mountain State Park in Little Rock, Arkansas, United States. Situated below Pinnacle Mountain along the Little Maumelle River, the arboretum's flora and tree plantings correspond to Arkansas's six geographical regions, ranging from the flat-topped hills and steep valleys of the Ozark Plateau to the flat bottomland and tallgrass prairies of the Mississippi alluvial plain, with a 0.6-mile (1 km) paved interpretive trail.
