Redlands Municipal Airport (ICAO: KREI) is two miles (3.2 km) northeast of downtown Redlands, serving San Bernardino County, California, United States. This general aviation airport covers 194 acres (79 ha) and has one runway.

Mill Creek is a 17.8-mile-long (28.6 km) stream, originating in the San Bernardino Mountains, in San Bernardino County, California. It is a major tributary of the Santa Ana River. Their confluence occurs just downstream of the upper Santa Ana Canyon mouth. Part of the upper creek flows through San Bernardino National Forest, with the headwaters (High Creek and Mill Creek Jumpoff), being in the San Gorgonio Wilderness. Mill Creek is in much better condition than the lower portions of the Santa Ana watershed, as its drainage area is less urbanized. However, the creek has three hydroelectric plants owned by Southern California Edison. The first commercial power plant in the United States using three-phase alternating current was the 250 kilowatt Mill Creek No. 1 Hydroelectric Plant, near Redlands, California, in 1893 designed by Almarian Decker.The streambed is completely dewatered in some places. Also, a levee system was built by the United States Army Corps of Engineers after a severe flood, which degraded the riparian habitat. In addition, the poor conditions downstream interfere with fish migration to the creek.

The Highland Historic District is a historic district encompassing some of the oldest parts of Highland, California. The district includes the city's original townsite, which was platted in 1891, and parts of a 1904 addition; significant development in the district continued through 1938. Development in Highland was driven by the citrus industry, Southern California's dominant industry at the time; as Highland was located at the junction of the busy Palm Avenue and the newly completed Santa Fe Railroad, it became a natural industrial center. The district includes the numerous packing houses built along the railroad as well as the city's historic commercial core on Palm Avenue. The houses built in the district also reflect the citrus industry's influence on the city. Wealthy citrus growers lived in the large houses on West Main Street, while citrus workers lived in smaller cottages spread throughout the district.The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 5, 2001.

Citrus Valley High School is Redlands' fifth high school in its district, but third conventional public high school in the district. Founded on August 12, 2009.

Mentone is a census-designated place in San Bernardino County, California, United States. The population was 7,803 at the 2000 census and 8,720 at the 2010 census. It is located at 34°3′53″N 117°7′13″W.According to the United States Census Bureau, it has a total area of 6.2 square miles (16 km2); 6.2 square miles (16 km2) of it is land and 0.19% is water. There is a good selection of housing developments (which has been slowly increasing over the past years), as well as bars, churches, and restaurants. California State Route 38 serves as its main street, being called Mentone Boulevard upon entering the Mentone district from Redlands on the west side, then changes to Mill Creek Road on the east side of the district. The road through Mentone serves as one of three gateways to the San Bernardino Mountains (especially the small community of Angelus Oaks and the mountainous city of Big Bear Lake).

Seven Oaks Dam is a 550-foot (170 m) high earth and rock fill embankment dam across the Santa Ana River in the San Bernardino Mountains, about 4 miles (6.4 km) northeast of Redlands in San Bernardino County, southern California. It impounds Seven Oaks Reservoir in the San Bernardino National Forest. The dam was proposed in response to major floods in the mid–20th century, and was constructed between 1993 and 2000. Seven Oaks is a dry dam that serves mainly for flood protection to Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, although it also used to impound water for groundwater recharge. One of the largest embankment dams in the United States, the dam was built under contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) by Odebrecht Corporation of California, a subsidiary of the Brazilian firm Contructora Norberto Odebrecht,. The dam is now owned and operated by local flood control districts.

Seven Oaks Reservoir is a reservoir on the Santa Ana River in San Bernardino County, California, about 8 miles (13 km) northeast of the city of Redlands. The reservoir is formed by Seven Oaks Dam, which was completed in 1999. The United States Army Corps of Engineers built the zoned earth-and-rock-fill dam at the foot of the San Bernardino Mountains to protect against flooding in the eastern portion of the Greater Los Angeles Area. Its maximum height is 550 feet (170 m) above the pre-existing streambed and 650 feet (200 m) above the lowest portion of the foundation. The reservoir is medium-sized at 147,970 acre-feet (182,520,000 m3), though it is a bit large for a reservoir whose sole purpose is flood control, which means that water is released as soon as safely possible, while still slow enough to allow water to seep into the streambed, recharging the groundwater aquifer. Also, releases are coordinated with Prado Dam, which is 40 miles (64 km) downstream.

The University of Redlands is a private university headquartered in Redlands, California. The university's main, residential campus is situated on 160 acres (65 ha) near downtown Redlands. An additional eight regional locations throughout California largely provide programs for working adults.

Patton State Hospital is a forensic psychiatric hospital in San Bernardino, California, United States. Though the hospital has a Patton, California address, it lies entirely within the San Bernardino city limits. Operated by the California Department of State Hospitals, Patton State Hospital is a forensic hospital with a licensed bed capacity of 1287 for people who have been committed by the judicial system for treatment.

Holy Name of Jesus Parish is a Roman Catholic church in Redlands, California, United States, founded on July 1, 2006. It is part of the Diocese of San Bernardino. The Church is located on two sites, on the north side of town is the Columbia Street location formerly Saint Mary's Catholic Church. And the south side of Redlands, at the Olive Avenue location is the former Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Redlands–University station is a terminal station on the Arrow rail service that serves the University of Redlands. The station was built as part of the Arrow service and opened on October 24, 2022.
