Redlands East Valley High School is a public English medium co-educational high school in Redlands, California, United States, near the San Bernardino Mountains. The school opened in the 1997-1998 school year as part of the Redlands Unified School District.

The Mill Creek Zanja, also known as the Zankey, is a historic irrigation canal, or zanja, in Redlands, California. The Serrano people dug the canal in 1819 to provide water from Mill Creek for their farms east of the city. The zanja also provided water for the San Bernardino de Sena Estancia mission outpost, which was built near the canal to access its water. The canal's water became a highly desirable resource in the area; it fueled a local agricultural boom and was the subject of several legal disputes over water rights in the 1800s. The City of Redlands covered the western half of the zanja in the 1920s.The zanja was designated a California Historical Landmark in 1932, named a Historic Civil Engineering Landmark in 1972 and placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. The canal now carries drainage water and storm runoff out of the city; it is the oldest irrigation canal in California which is still in use and the oldest civil engineering project in Southern California. The city, along with several other local groups, is building a trail and greenway alongside the canal.

Mill Creek is a 17.8-mile-long (28.6 km) stream, originating in the San Bernardino Mountains, in San Bernardino County, California. It is a major tributary of the Santa Ana River. Their confluence occurs just downstream of the upper Santa Ana Canyon mouth. Part of the upper creek flows through San Bernardino National Forest, with the headwaters (High Creek and Mill Creek Jumpoff), being in the San Gorgonio Wilderness. Mill Creek is in much better condition than the lower portions of the Santa Ana watershed, as its drainage area is less urbanized. However, the creek has three hydroelectric plants owned by Southern California Edison. The first commercial power plant in the United States using three-phase alternating current was the 250 kilowatt Mill Creek No. 1 Hydroelectric Plant, near Redlands, California, in 1893 designed by Almarian Decker.The streambed is completely dewatered in some places. Also, a levee system was built by the United States Army Corps of Engineers after a severe flood, which degraded the riparian habitat. In addition, the poor conditions downstream interfere with fish migration to the creek.

The University of Redlands is a private university headquartered in Redlands, California. The university's main, residential campus is situated on 160 acres (65 ha) near downtown Redlands. An additional eight regional locations throughout California largely provide programs for working adults.

Redlands–University station is a terminal station on the Arrow rail service that serves the University of Redlands. The station was built as part of the Arrow service and opened on October 24, 2022.

Redlands High School is a high school located in Redlands, California, alongside Redlands East Valley High School and Citrus Valley High School. It is the oldest Californian public high school still functioning on its original site.

Citrus Village is a shopping center in Redlands, California, on Redlands Boulevard between E. Palm Ave and E. Cypress Ave. One of the earliest planned shopping centers in the area and upon its opening on November 2, 1959, the largest retail area in Redlands, costing $2 million and housing 20 shops under one air-conditioned roof. Sage's Complete Shopping was the original main anchor, a large supermarket which included a pharmacy and lunch counter.In 1967 it added 33,000 square feet to the complex and in May 1970 a 24,000-square-foot (2,200 m2) "Milton's" apparel store, run by Milton Sage, owner of Sage's.Webb's, a department store from Glendale, California, opened its first branch store here, measuring 42,000 square feet, on August 30, 1973 in the Citrus Village shopping center, a small center with 16 specialty stores.Today, the shopping center is currently anchored by an Albertsons supermarket and Rite Aid pharmacy.

The Redlands Central Railway Company car barn is a historic car barn located at 746 East Citrus Avenue in Redlands, California, United States. The building was used to house electric railway cars, first for the Redlands Central Railway and later for the Pacific Electric Railway. It is the only extant Pacific Electric car barn, and one of only two trolley barns remaining in Southern California.

Crafton Hills College (CHC) is a public community college in Yucaipa, California. CHC is part of the California Community College system. It offers associate degrees and career and technical certificates. Since its opening in 1972, more than 200,000 people have attended Crafton Hills and the college now serves approximately 6,500 students each semester with day, evening, and online classes.
